Happy Birthday, Kaga! *hands out party hats* ...Or, at least I think that it should be your birthday about now, give or take a couple of hours. Also, Kaga: Did your 'plan' work? (And if yes, did it involve dressing up as a Dalek and killing children with a plunger?)

No, I didn't exactly have time to put together a Dalek cosplay in less than 24 hours. But yeah, the plan worked! I plan on updating that Spam thread with the details later today, including a picture of the awesome sign I made.

But yeah, thanks!
In other news, I think I'm starting to be convinced that Moffat sometimes turns to DW fan-works for inspiration for his stories...

Unless this week's upcoming episode isn't in fact written by Moffat. In which case, never mind.
Also: If you're not used to writing long responses, you might want to start in the Free section (where there are no length standards so short posts are common). If you decide you want to RP in a thread with lengthier posts, then you can try moving to another forum.

First time was in grade 7 during a school cabin trip where On the Road Again came by to educate us younglings about mother nature. I was standing near the host of the show so I had a fair deal of screen time. The second was at college where I think CP24 (a news station) was doing a special on my college and they wanted to get my environmental law class. I was recorded asking a question.I caught both times on TV, which I think led to a bit of a feeling of "wait, that's it?" Due to anticipating something for a few weeks and making the time to be there when it airs and then seeing yourself for a few seconds. The effect is largely like watching an old family or friend video recording, you remember being there for the recording and now you're just watching it again. It kind of feels like a bit of a let down. I actually found getting my name mentioned in the newspaper far more exciting, you have more of a connection than just being visible for a few seconds.

Tomorrow's my birthday don't kill my buzz.

Plus like I said I did tell some of my friends to DVR it without telling them why. I know one friend in particular who will flip shits for sure if she sees me on TV. And that'll make it all even better.

Aaand that would be why I always write up my posts in Notepad >_<. I feel sorry for you, Cal, but I don't really know of a way to get it back short of the few things that you more than likely have already tried (backing up a page, refreshing the page etc.).

:/ Yeeeaaaah same here.

I can't recall the last time I've actually written an IC post in the site's reply box. I always just copy/paste from a word processor. ...Which I really recommend for future reference. I can happily say I've never lost a post since. ^^"

Disco Pogo.

The song is a lot better than the title.

Dress like a Dalek.

I wish I had the means.

I've been on TV a couple times. It's not nearly as exciting as I thought it'd be.

I told my friends to DVR it, though. Hopefully their reactions will make the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Are you going to shoot up a school or something? Because that might land you on international TV as well.

The Today show is broadcasting from my campus tomorrow. I'm just gonna assault the cameras, cuz getting on TV would probably be one of the coolest ways to spend my birthday.

So I really hope a challenge gives me the chance to use this at some point: Speaking of which, I'm still trying to decide on suggestions for challenges. I'm not sure how well a lot of my ideas would work right now, though ^^;. Are there any other new ideas?

I'd still be willing to submit a character to use as an antagonist for a challenge if that's a thing we can do.
Tomorrow, I get on national TV.

That is my goal.

I shall keep you guys updated as to whether or not this all turns out successfully.
