The Doctor Who season 8 finale.

I had a lot to say, so I rambled to Henry.

Next thing I knew, she was asleep.

...And she likes Doctor Who. o_____o

-thinking....thinking....thi- I dunno. I will see and I will change it if need be. That's not a problem. Its the episode: Pyramids of Mars if you remember that (it IS one of the episodes Netflix has)

Oh! Yeah, I have seen Pyramids of Mars. It was one of the first Classic episodes I ever saw, though, which would explain why it's not exactly fresh in my mind. ^^"
But on a whole other note: I recognized that! I was like: ".....no way could I have heard that right...and in NO WAY is The Master telling the truth." {Let's be honest here, Missy could have kept The Master as its 'universally accepted'} I recognized it as Four gave the coordinates to Sutekh (is that how you spell it???)

Sutekh? Don't know what that is. I just remembered those coordinates from the episode Full Circle where Four gave the coordinates to K-9 so he could fly the TARDIS there.

Also,

Thanks to Cassandra, her Doctor had taught her to block her mind just in case sociopath's on a rampage wouldn't get to her...however, she wasn't too certain how they would hold up against a fellow Time Lord.

Eight never mentioned that the Master is a Time Lord. ...At least I don't think he did.
“Ah, no need to worry about the alarm now. I’ve fixed the Cloister Bell, but, it certainly would’ve sounded earlier if he hadn’t disabled it, tampering with my TARDIS like that… As for the power, well, she has enough to last for now at least. I’ll worry about re-charging her later. The important thing right now is finding the Master. Don’t want him getting out. Wait!” he spoke up, turning towards Rose suddenly. “You felt something slithering over your ankles?” he echoed. The Doctor then ran over to the doorway, and began scanning the edges of the doors with a screwdriver unfamiliar to Rose. “Oh no…” he spoke sadly. “He’s definitely gotten out…” Eight then swung the doors open and, taking a look at the area around him, scanned the air with this screwdriver. “Ohhhh no…” he continued. “I can’t pick up any sort of trail…” he continued to think aloud, not knowing where to proceed from there.
Sooo... should I write up a post? Or are we all kind of sitting at a halt until we get a confirmation from Genkai about what we're doing now?
“Oh, come on now! You can’t just challenge me to a meme war and then not follow up on it!” GM shouted back, almost sounding disappointed that he wouldn’t be able to engage in the type of fight that he wanted. But then, a tsunami of milk came crashing down, and GM’s face was full of confusion for a brief moment before he stepped to the side, dodging Callum himself at least before simply crouching down and bracing for impact, letting the wave crash over him as GM’s feet remained glued to the ground. After the wave had passed, GM’s eyes blinked open again, and he shook his wet body slightly before turning back towards Callum. “Heh… heheh… MK used Surf.” he chuckled slightly to himself, before licking some of the milk off of one of his paws. “It’s not very effective…” he grinned. “Now then, those questions of yours, let’s see…” he paused to think about what Callum had asked, though the sing-songy tone in his voice made it ambiguous whether or not he planned to answer any of them seriously. “Hmm… how did I bring you here? Man, that’s tough to explain, I wouldn’t expect that a simple mind like yours — one that can’t see the threads that make up the fabric of the universe — would be able to understand it.” he answered. “Unless… haha, am I from the future?” he echoed. “HAH! Yes, you got me, I’m secretly a Time Lord. I regenerated into a dog.” he laughed, crouching down on his forelegs with his butt and wagging tail in the air in that playful pose that dogs tend to make.

Then, Callum’s final question really sank into his mind. “Wait…” his speech slowed, and his playful expression faded. “What do you mean ‘am I real’?” he growled, standing up properly as he glared at Callum. “Why would you think I’m not real?!” he snapped, racing towards Callum and pinning him down at lightening speeds. “Is this real enough for you?!” he roared, showing off his sharp canine teeth as he glared down at Callum in anger.

——

The bugrat reacted with shock as Gwazi suddenly pushed him away, and it shrieked in pain as the sword dug into its underbelly. At the same time, a shot of flame came from Rae, and the creature tried to cover its face with its wings, which only served to singe and practically melt all the wings on the left side of its body. “What are you things?!” the creature hissed. They certainly weren’t mere humans. That much was for sure. Instead of sticking around for an answer, though, the thing decided to retreat, scurrying away, out of their small chamber as it dashed out into the hallway.

Saber is displeased.

Not surprising. I knew Vash would get on everyone's nerves thanks to this trial.

That was pretty funny, But I liked Forest of the night, but then again it had Danny so how couldn't I? The kids were better....if not still all "SELFIE SELFIE THAT IS ALL KIDS ARE NOW THESE DAYS LOOK WE'RE MODREAN" I wasn't a great episode, but it was good. I still stand firm on Kill the moon being the worst...a blip in a great season.

:/ I still feel like Kill the Moon had a great plot, and the only real issues it had were the scientific inaccuracies, most of which I was willing to handwave anyway since Doctor Who is not a hard science show.

Forest of the Night had a lot of plot issues, though. But, there were a few moments that I really really liked. The TARDIS GPS and the kids' lack of a reaction to the whole bigger-on-the-inside deal to name a few.
Also, I wanted to say something...

In the Forest of the Night was a really lackluster episode. Probably the worst of the season. However...

The part where the wolves were scared off by a large cat made me laugh really, really hard.

Just think about it.
Vash might not have been able to stop Saber’s initial attack, but, at the very least, he was able to offset her finishing blow. Tackling into her, he managed to get her away from the dragon before her final attack went through, and her blade stopped glowing as the two of them tumbled to the ground. Much to his dismay, though, it wasn’t enough to save the creature. He watched sadly as the beast bleed out profusely, defeated by everyone’s combined attacks. Vash’s heart sank as the dragon let out its dying cry.

Before Vash could say anything in response, however, a pillar of light engulfed the group as the first trial had been cleared, and they all returned to the city. Vash took a few deep breaths as an unusual sensation came over him — as even his mental fatigue seemed to be washed away by the return to the City, a sense of calm and focus coming over him as he took a moment to observe the room they’d landed in. Apparently an armory of some kind — stocked with all sorts of weapons, many of which reminded him of the dragon they’d just slain, in both its forms. Most of them didn’t interest him, but, glancing over at the more miscellaneous supplies, he did spot some bullets that could be useful. The exposition that flashed in front of his eyes confirmed that he’d be able to re-load his gun later.

Before he could even think about heading over there, though, Saber confronted him. Vash’s eyes narrowed at her and he crossed her arms. “I didn’t want you to kill it.” he told Saber, glaring at Archer and his snarky remark as he refused to dignify it with a verbal response. “It was weak enough that we didn’t need to. I think I even saw it try to retreat at one point! We could’ve subdued it without finishing it off.” he told her. “Of course, I know that it still died even without your final blow — and there’s nothing we can do about it now, obviously.” he continued, glancing at the room around them. “But I still had to try to save the thing.” he said, eyes locking onto Saber again. “No one has the right to take the life of another.”
