Crypt’s Island

Crypt’s Island is full of mysteries. You're lucky enough to be stuck there with whole lot of strangers and a lot less hope. Life will get hard… people will die, but for some life will have just been beginning, others will find there home on this island. Forever. You are a person on Crypt’s Island, be you a Native or Survivor you will be fighting for your life. Batting off giant insects and climbing the steps of the ancient temple you’ll find a variety of things to do on the Island. There is more than one way to get off the island and not all of them necessarily mean you’ll make it alive. Crypt’s Island isn’t on the map for a reason, and no one will be looking for your group anytime soon, if you choose to be a survivor, but you may find a few secrets in the heart of the island that reveal these facts yourself. IF anyone ever makes it to the Armory there will be a more Sci-Fi aspect to the RP.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
AREAS:

Beach Home: This is where the Survivors call home. They sleep here and call this stretch of beach a safe haven. This area is a safe zone and can be fortified to defend against attack. Some people have taken to building huts and even shops along the beach trying to establish a bit of normality. There are an abundant amount of trees around the beach and a variety of fish swimming in the bay.

Big Bone Ranch: A few Survivors would have taken up home here in the middle of the forest, though this would be a much more difficult start you would be the first to get access to the Armory. The Survivors here will be able to set up a home in the canopy of the trees relatively safe from anything on the ground. These Survivors will face a lot more difficult task such as fighting off the first of the native scout parties and maybe even a few conflicts with the other survivors. Big Bone Ranch has a small building in the center with a store of medicines, arms, and old clothing. People here will also not have to go to the Science Building before finding the Armory.

SHIPWRECK: The wreckage lies here, who know what could be found in all the shipping containers littering the beach and the water. Items may also be salvaged from the boat itself seeing as it's tipped over on its side there, who knows what's still good though.

Science Building: The Science Building is an old Government facility housing a variety of lab equipment and a lot of useful items that would assist the Beach Home, though the Science Building would make a good home in itself. The power generators there can be moved from one area to another and there is also a near limitless supply of water purification systems. There is also a good amount of stored foods here and a security system that can be reactivated for added security against the Natives should they be a problem. At the Science Building you will find a variety of notes and maps pointing to the Native Establishments and the Armory. Deep under the Science Building is a tunnel to Chance’s Underwater Bunker, and in this tunnel is a variety of gadgets and special items.

Shinoup Temple: This is a Temple that even the Natives will not explore and for good reason, it is a place of death as they say. If you travel deep enough into the depths of the Temple itself and retrieve the stones there, they say you will have a power only rivaled by the gods. Enter at your own peril, Each level has a different kind of Power Stone.

Death Fields: Nothing grows here. The land is black as though it has been torched and you can see nothing but land for miles. One could set up a home here but there isn’t much in the way of resources, The Natives call this ground sacred and will demand a battle on the Death Fields upon discovery of the Survivors.;

The Village: The Village is an old Settlement from the Scientist's Day’s on the island. Some stored foods and clothing can be found here along with a limited supply of guns and some water purification systems. The Village itself has an underground bunker chalk full of goodies but it would take a safe cracker or a person with knowledge of the island to get into it. These items will not be revealed untill someone figures out a way to open the bunker or Chance’s vists and brings something out see as he is the only one who knows the actual code to the vault door. There is a stop at this bunker/vault in the underground tunnel that connects the Government buildings.

Chance’s Underwater Bunker: This is where Chance lives. He does not normally bring anyone into his home and it can only be accessed by diving or by tunnel from a variety of locations. There is a Security System and a his Bunker is totally self sustaining, provided he fishes for his meals. Chance would only let people he trust’s dearly into his lair.
Chance’s Plane: This is the plane Chance’s Family landed on the island with when he was a child. He does not even know of its existence. This is one possibility of getting off the island but you would not be able to get more than 20 people off this way.

Snapbone Armory: A Secret Armory that is hidden in the middle of a labyrinth. If you make it through this Labyrinth alive you will find treasure beyond your wildest dreams, and items with properties you could never believe. These items are worth the risk. As is the information that can be found about Crypt’s Island here.

Sis Fort: Most of the Native Soldiers and government officials stay here along with some of the richer of their community. All there weapons and any advanced items they may have found lie here along with some of their own tribal relics which have extraordinary powers and properties. This will be one of the areas that only Natives can enter and any more information can be given later in the RP. Any Survivor trespassing here will be brought to Rasniffin and Judged.

Rasniffin: The capital and biggest city under the Natives control, it is in a state of almost advanced as they still stay in huts but some are even two stories, and they have a variety of marketplaces. In this place the Natives seem almost civilized, and it would take alot of trust to gain access to this inner city. Rasniffin is the name of all of the cities there but Rasniffin is also used to describe the main inner lying city, that housed most of their people and commerce. This got confusing even to the natives so they had taken to calling the land in between Rasniffin and the Fort, The Ras. The Ras is where some of the farming and agricultural native towns are. These Natives may be open to trade.

Pilou’s Lookout: This is the outcast Natives home and has everything they need to survive there. There is around 70 people made up of around 30 families and they are accepting of the Survivors if greeted without hostility and can be used to learn the Natives dialect. Here you can learn about the natives and their culture as well as gain a small access to the trade involved within the inner rings of The Ras. All Outcasts are covered in tribal tattoos to mark their crimes. While these Natives are accepting they will not tell you their knowledge on the island and its secrets. Many of these Outcast can no longer speak due to their tongues being taken.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chess watched the latest developments with a bit of amusement that he quickly dismissed, he watched Colt's latest fight smirking a bit when he smashed the girls colar bone. Classic he thought to himself as he pushed the doors open and headed back to his room not to concerned with who won. He saw Seril walking steadily in front of him when he heard a curse and the boy darted off. Well that was weird... Chess took off after Seril, making sure to keep his distance, but when they finally got to there hallway Seril just took a deep steady breath and walked in his room.

Seril opened his door and shut it behind him as quickly as he could. He looked at his copy like hot pokers would have been the best solution for this damned mess. Just as it began to open its mouth, no doubt to utter a rude greeting, Serils hand shot up and the copy burst into dust and fell to the floor being sucked to his feet and into his boots. That doesn't normally happen. He thought to himself, but when was anything normal anymore? He walked over to his bed and slammed down face first.
(ooc: Written in collaboration with @SheriffLlama)
Chess cracked his knuckles staring across the mat at his opponent, he couldn't say he'd ever fought anyone this big but you know what they said there was a first for everything. He wiped the small amount of sweat that began to accumulate on his forehead and got in position. In his head he was thinking of different ways to even approach the boy, he ran through sweeping the boys legs but that wasn't gonna happen without a lot of effort. Soft points, everyone had their weak points, Goliath was felled with a single stone, Chess hoped this would work.
He charged at Mason full speed throwing all of his weight forward as they neared the middle of the ring Chess sent a shot out at Mason’s throat he jumped connecting and suddenly stopped there. Chess squirmed but felt like he was stuck in the Krakens own grip. He looked into the eyes of his opponent “Shit”.
Mason’s attack was far less tactically oriented than Chess’ - he grabbed the smaller boy as he threw the punch, turned 180 degrees, and sent a heavy punch straight into his jaw, leaving him to roll to the edge of the mat. Chess saw lights as he hit the mat with a yelp, he looked up feeling like a freight train had just hit him directly in the face. Chess looked up to see the bigger boy closing the gap he had just created. It felt like Mason was the invincible super villain at the end of the hardest video game. You can’t lose cause of some huge Goliath of a person. Lose because he was better.
Chess jumped off his ass and onto his feet running at the bigger boy in his slow ascent forward, just when he got in reach he dropped to one knee sending an elbow directly at the boys grown. He slid until a brutal impact and stood up fist ready to meet Mason’s chin.
Mason received both blows with a good bit of pain in their respective areas. He briefly stumbled, but regained his foothold, glaring daggers at Chess. That was dirty… Mason cracked his neck - if Chess wanted to play dirty, he’d play the same way. He turned and threw a heavy punched, and then rushed him like a bull, trying to pin him on the ground, but Chess tried to break free immediately putting both his feet on Mason’s chest and grabbing him by his ears he head butted him with all his force right in the other boys nose sending his head back. Chess took this moment to launch up off Mason’s chest kicking him in the chin as he spun backwards, landing there feeling blood dripping from his face he fell to his knees as his head began to spin. He shook his head trying to clear it.
The room grew dark in his peripheral vision, and all he could see was the other boy. How are you still standing. Chess thought to himself.
As Mason staggered to the ground, black spots dotted his vision, and he could’ve sworn his vision had gone red for a split-second. He shook his head and his eyes cleared, though his surrounding were slightly out of focus. The larger boy stood his full height and glared at Chess. He felt a bit of anger rising in his chest, but he did his best to suppress it. He pushed off the ground with his right foot and charged Chess, slamming into him and sending him to the ground.
Before he could get to his feet, Mason knelt down, putting a hand on his chest. He straddled the smaller boy and pulled his elbow back, then released a hard punch into his jaw. Then a second - then a third. Before he threw the fourth, he saw blood had risen to the surface of Chess’ face. He breathed hard and searched the kid’s eyes for a sign that he was going to fight back.
Chess’ eyes flicked wide for a brief moment and he sent one last shot up into Mason’s throat this time with his fingers bent leaving two main pressure points. He lost consciousness and woke up with blood drying on his face. The other boy he had fought from Till threw a towel on him and walked off laughing.
As mason regained his breathed from Chess’ last hit, he stood to his feet. Sweat beaded down and stung his eyes, and blood dripped from his right nostril. He glared briefly at sky, turned, and walked off the mat. He pushed past a couple recruits and slammed the doors open, heading towards the bathrooms.
I'm back an ready to continue th city hall scene
If anyone else is ready.
Seril took the towel laughing as he proped himself up on the wall "That kids pretty fast, I wonder if he'll be able to even fight Mason" he said imagining the bigger boy ripping the smaller one in half, he shivered. Not a pretty thought. Wipeing the blood away he chuckled under his breath, he hasn't thought he was gonna win but he thought the fight would have lasted longer than that. The other boy was just to fast though, before he evennknew it the other boy was dropping a foot on him at dangerous speeds. Serilcould tell this wasn't the first fight the boy had had with a bigger opponent. He looked back at Nya, "Was I that bad?" He said thinking of how much of an ofe he must of seemed like.

@Imaginary
Seril stood across the mat from Chess as they began to circled each other. Chess suddenly jumped to the left putting him within reach of Seril. Seril shot his fist out towards Chess but the boy quickly dodged it and Seril felt his arm being pulled forward as the other boy slipped his right leg behind Seril and jumped kicking him with the back of his left foot. Seril wiped the blood from his mouth and kicked out as the boy ran up behind him hitting him in the shins.

Seril picked himself back up off the ground and picked the boy up by the back off his shirt socking him twice before he fell back catching himself. Chess quickly swept Seril's legs and he was on his back again. The last thing Seril remembered was catching the back of a heel to the face after that, then he woke up there with blood all over his guard gear. "Shit." He said pulling himself up catching a glimpse of Chess off in the corner smiling "I told you I hoped we didn't have to fight" he said wiping away some of the blood from his nose.
A friend of mine just got in a bad accident so I've been at his house helping out sorry about being gone guys I'll try to get that post up.
Dinner was slow for the most part and Seril didn’t find much amusement there so he ate in silence and went to sleep after with a stomach full of some of the best food he had ever eaten. In the morning he put on his guard uniform and rushed downstairs leaving a copy to study more out of the books there. He realized he was late and started running through the halls getting lost and ending up in the gym. He saw another boy there and decided that was his only chance. “You know where our class is supposed to be?” He said to a boy who was running on a treadmill with his music plugged in. The boy looked at his watch and jumped off the treadmill.

----

Chess gorged himself at dinner figuring he might as well get all the weight on him he could while he was here. If worse came to worse he could say that he ate well. He listened to the banter at the table and became familiar with most of their names except a few. One boy from Till didn't talk at all and ended up just walking into his room without a word. Chess found that odd but he hadn’t said much at dinner either, and he eventually after heading to the library to get a few books he crashed out himself. In the morning He woke up and got himself breakfast, heading to the gym.

One thing Chess loved more than anything was running, and he was entirely caught up in his blissful jogging when the boy from Till came in asking something in his thick accent. He looked at his watch taking his headphones out, his eyes almost popped out of his head. “Dude, do you know how late we are?” He said jumping off the treadmill, and running up to the boy. This guy dwarfed him and got him thinking that there must be something in the water down in Till. He didn’t look like to bad a guy though, he hoped they wouldn’t have to be enemies here.
----
“There was a map in your room, boss” The small tan skinned boy told him putting his headphones away and opening the door to the gym back the way he had just come. Seril followed him and wondered where this boy could be from. He hadn’t introduced himself or said much really at dinner, but he didn’t seem like many of the other people here, there was something different about him that Seril couldn't but his finger on. He followed the boy as he began to jog telling him to come on. Seril thought on his copy in the room, and it walked over to the back of the door taking the map there, the real Seril took a moment of agony while they jogged to familiarize himself with the floors.

It bloody hurt too. As they ran he was forced to scrunch up his face, balling up his fist he let out a little grunt and turned the corner with the kid “My names-” He almost hit a corner as they turned sharply, but quickly caught back up.

----
Chess laughed as the kid almost clocked himself on a corner but swiftly spun out of it and kept jogging. He had noticed the guys screwed up face while they were jogging but he didn't think much of it. He picked up the pace as they reached the doors, “This is it,” He said putting out his hand and putting an palm on the door handle, “names Chess by the way.” He said offering his hand toward the other boy as he shook it.
“Seril.” The other boy said as Chess shook his calloused hand. He liked that name, Seril. Seril it wasn't like many of the city districts names, and ass he pushed the door open he looked at the other kid. “Well Seril, let hope we don't have to duke it out to day eh? It looks like they stay feedin you boys good down in Till. Well ‘Sanguis stillent gladiis hostium damno.’ and all that” He said taking his position in the line and as a fight started, he looked at the Till boy who was focusing on the two fighters in the ring. Chess so hoped he didn't have to hurt one of these people, hopefully he would get someone weak and be able to just pin them down or something.
Omitted
Seril watched as she started talking about her home, as she looked around his room, he thought to himself what life must have been like growing up in Focal. It could've been all that hard but neither was life in Till, and he had his stories.he turned around still leaning on the door frame as she walked to his bed and sat down. And he almost blushed when she mentioned his accent. " In Till, on the main road, all types of folks would come from all the zones to a small store I worked at. We didn't get a lot of business but it was only business that we ever really got in the whole town anyway besides the farms. We got a little ranch back home but nothing to brag about, just to keep us going." He said looking at the book laid open on the bed next to her. For a second he thought that would look weird but quickly brushed that feeling off, picking up the book and putting it on his desk. "I don't really know my way around this place, do you know where the dinning room is?" He said trying to keep his accent down.
