Shadow had been training himself again. but after a time he found that his raw strength would go no farther. he sighed and then worked on his reflexes and mental abilities. he was able to get much better that he had ever thought that he would. he could still fell that magic locked in him but didn't know what would break his magic free. when he had finished the training he made up his mind to leave the group for a long time. the power that he had now would only be used in the wrong way he had to first learn how to keep himself calm and in control. his mind was clear and he could hear any message that anyone wanted to send him but he didn't have to respond and he knew that. he walked towards his parents home wondering if he would find anything.

Shadow sighed having seen only a few new people show up so far. he shook his head and then stood up. he did a quick check of all of his weapons. he then walked into the tavern and ordered a drink. he then went to a table in the back where the lighting was from only the sun. he smiled as he enjoyed just watching people go about their day even when something seemed different. he could tell the others in the tavern were a bit nervous but he couldn't tell why just yet.

left on his own once more. Why is shadow always alone. guess i will just unleash some of his stronger abilities. just so you all know Shadow is still only at about one tenth his full power. i might be wrong on that as well. he might be at even less than 1/10 his full power.

Shadow looked around real quick and then the started to run north west again. he smiled and then jumped from the ground up to a ladder and climbed to a roof so that he could get to his destination that much quicker. he checked behind him just to make sure that aery was still with him.

Shadow reached down and grabbed some of the mud that was around. he spread it over his shoulder's so that the bulge of his sword hilts would look like a broken bone. he then moved that arm so that it looked like he had been injured and was in pain. " lets go then. they will think i look crazy if i have random bumps near my shoulder." he made his ware carefully through the crowds of people. he remembered the streets that he would want to take. he made sure that he was close to Aery all the time just in case anyone tried anything. before long they were standing outside the compound. shadow looked it over and saw that everything was closed and locked. he reached into his gold pouch and pulled out a paper thin piece of metal and handed it to Aery. " this can slip under any window and let you break what ever is holding it closed."

Why just Why. Shadow just wants a nice life and people keep pissing him off. and pain only helps make him stronger. he has a berserker rage so pain is easy for him to deal with.

Shadow was fist stopped by a wall of magic and then he felt the pain kick in. He was forced to his knees and when he was about to scream in pain he blacked out. the pain broke through his mental barriers and his mind was set upon by the pain. this only served to sharpen his mental abilities. his normal hidden skills kicked in. the first was his magic barrier. this stopped some of the pain. the next was a trace skill that would give him the choice to turn the magic back on the user. with the pain gone shadow shook his head and focused on who was trying to injure him. " Ansel" he growled focusing on her he was able to feel the magic deep inside himself react to her power. he did his best to keep calm. he failed at that and his rage built up. he turned and walked in the direction that he sensed her. he still didn't know that he could return her magic all he knew is the pain was blocked for the most part. there was enough that most people would be crying like a baby. but he had been through worse that that so he wouldn't let it stop him. * if you can read mind know this. you made a bad choice attacking me in any way. i'm coming for you. your no better that Kalin was and you watched what i did to him. your magic has done its job. it has me in pain but i will kill you if i have to. i'm not someone to cross.* Shadow thought as he fought with the pain.

trust me she won't be able to touch him when he gets that strong. he has tree abilities that most people don't know about. the first is his magic focus to cancel magic. the second is a berserker like rage, and his final hidden ability is his ability to take a harmful magic and turn it back on the user.
