Slipping slowly into madness!!

Bio

I... am a man and prefer to play male characters... but I suppose I could be tempted to rp as a female in a FxF. My name is... a secret! I believe an incident when I was younger boiled my brain. I visited my grandma by myself for the first time during a summer in high school... during a 118 degree heatwave. One day I decided to do what I always do... go on a hike in the back country... but I was wearing a black shirt. It was horrible and it felt like I had boiled my brain. I cooled off by hopping in the HOT TUB! Thats how freaking hot it was! Now I'm mildly crazy and a little bit scatterbrained... but I was a little scatterbrained before that.

My avatar is my kitten... isn't she cute! I like cute things and am not ashamed!

A pet peeve of mine that I've recently developed is that people don't seem to check their PMs. I can be patient but when I know someone has been on after I reply and they don't reply back I get irritated.

After placing all the various jars and supplies into a satchel he pulled out the necklace. This was the turning point. After this... he would start things in earnest and the Empire would crumble. He just hoped the young orc wouldn't be angry at him for getting her involved in this.

The future would be very tough, filled with conflict and pain. He needed to find someway to break the spell that blanketed the Empire and made the populace blind to what was actually going on around them. That was the first goal of his. Otherwise it would be impossible for him to achieve his goals.

"I have this necklace." He told her as he held the necklace out to her "I found it in some ruins I was exploring recently... it should be able to pay for what you gave me easily."

He just hoped that she would try it on first and trigger the necklaces spell. Placing the gemmed necklace in her hand he placed his left arm across his chest in a salute before taking a step back.

"Thank you for helping me out." He told her before turning and leaving.
Bryants face showed his regret. He knew she would react like this but it still made him depressed to make her angry at him. He wanted to tell her how he felt but he could never get up the courage to do so. He either chickened out or he said something that he hadn't meant to and made her laugh.

"I'm sorry Kaya." He said sadly "I was going to take a nap when inspiration hit me. I figured out something and had to try it out."

That wouldn't help him whatsoever. If anything it would probably make her madder. He fully deserved to have her not heal his injury sinc ehe had done it to himself... he could have handled the pain and it wasn't debilitating so he could leave it till he got home later. If he hadn't have had a fight... wait?

"I'm fighting in class today?" Bryant asked "Who am I fighting against? When is my match?"

This was a good piece of news! Maybe he would get to fight those two bullies from earlier! That would make his day! He had several things he wanted to show off to everyone... and maybe he could show Kaya what he had hurt himself trying.
Bryant nodded to the young orc woman. She seemed the perfect person for what he needed. He only needed to fgure out a way to get her to wear the necklace for the spell to take effect.

"My name is Bryant and I require several things." He told her "I need several healing salves of various strengths, some antidotes to common poisons and some bandages for wounds."

He pulled out a list of supplies he needed and handed it to her. The amount of supplies would come out to being quite costly... and the necklace he had would be enough to cover the price of what he needed. Despite it being a ploy to find a healer for his cause he truly needed what was on the list. He was low on healing supplies and now he could take care of two problems at once.
Bryant spent the next hour away from school... and came back with a burn on his right arm. He had been practising something new and, while it did work, he needed to refine it quite a bit more before using it in an everyday manner. He knew that Kaya was going to kill him but he didn't care... he learned something new buy skipping school. Maybe he should try it during the power practical class?

As he made his way down the halls while wrapping his arm in bandages he saw Kaya and froze. This was going to hurt more then anything. She was not pleasant when she was pissed off... and this was one of the things that would most definitely piss her off. He just hoped that she would be merciful to him for the injury he had... but he doubted it very much. She would most likely try and hit him several times before healing him... and then hitting him some more.

"Heeeeyyyy Kaya..." He said nervously "I learned something new while I was gone... it hurt but I learned something."
I'm going to assume you meant Theoretical assessment rather then practical assessment at the end.
you know I replied like three days ago.
This city... steeped in a spell that blinds its citizens to what is truly going on around them... the horrible slaughters by nobleslooking for blood sport... the protection money seemingly taken by mobsters who were in fact guards disguised by the spell. Bryant North was, for some reason, immune to this illusury spell and saw the truth of the world. He would bring down this corrupt Empire if it was the last thing he did... but he needed help. Help that, due to the illusion, would most likely never come. He did manage to find a necklace with an enchantment on it that would break the illusion on somebody permanantly... but it only would work once. He needed to be very careful about who he gave it to. That was why he was on his way to a free clinic in the slums. A skilled healer worked there... someone he believed would be helpful since he had no skill in the healing arts. As he approached the small clinic he noticed a few guards harassing the brothel girls next door, the illusion appearing as a transparent film around them to him. Deciding to ignore them for now he stepped into the clinic, his cover for coming here was to aquire some healing salves and he would pay for them with the necklace which was made of gold and rubies... unfortunately this whole plan hinged on the healer putting the necklace on. "Hello?" He called out as he walked in "Is their anyone here?"
In my experience casual is two paragraphs and advanced is two plus.
BE WARNED THEIR BE SPOILERS This thread is for those fans of J.R.R. Tolkiens Middle-Earth and Peter Jacksons interpetation of that world. We can discuss anything about the world of the books and movies here. I'll start with my favorite Races of Middle-Earth and why I like them. Dwarves: As Bilbo stated before the battle in the third Hobbit movie Dwarves have many faults but their positive traits more than make up for their negative ones in my opinion. I believe you would never find a better friend then in a Dwarf. They donot beat around the bush or speak in riddles like Elves and they're more loyal then most men. I like their weapons and armor more so then that of the Elves or Men. Hobbits: Gandalf said in the Fellowship that you can learn everything you need to know about them in a day but despite seventy years they can still surprise you. You can't judge what a Hobbit is until you put them in the fire so to speak. They can be surprisingly brave and are crack shots as seen when Bilbo is throwing rock at the end of Battle of Five Armies, when Merry and Pippin are throwing rocks from atop Treebeard in Two Towers, and in one of the books (I can't remember if its Fellowship or Hobbit) its written that in The Shire wildlife know to avoid a Hobbit with a bow or slingshot... or something like that I can't remember exactly what it said. Men of Rohan: They're like Vikings with horses only they don't go raiding. Brave and skilled they seem like an interesting group of peple.
