Nero didn't understand what she meant by that. The Soul Society was just a big lie? That made no sense to him. Were the stars fake or something? Did she mean that it wasn't heaven? Because he already knew that thanks to Urahara. The place was more like a transfer area for souls awaiting reicarnation and wasn't generally a pleasant place.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked in confusion "I know Soul Society can be an unpleasant place thanks to Urahara... but calling it one big lie?"

Hueco Mundo had nothing to hide. It was a simple place that was ruled by instinct and strength. Being filled with Hollows this was to be expected as they didn't really have much interest in hiding their intentions from those around them.

Nero shook his head. He preferred the night. It reminded him of his home... not that it was a great place but he had lived there for over a thousand years and he missed it in some way. Hueco Mundo was nothing you could call a nice or safe place. It was a Purgatory if one wanted to use spiritual lexicon... at least that was how he pictured it.

"I prefer the sky at night." He told her calmly.

He downed another cup of sake as he looked up into the darkening sky. He may not be able to seen many stars because of the lights from the city but he could still see a few. There were no stars in Hueco Mundo but that was one of the numerous things he liked about the Living World.

"Are there stars at night in the Soul Society?" He asked.

I'm thinking about trying to adapt this into a fanfiction. Would have to seriously flesh it out more so that it wouldn't be short... but I'm certain I could do it... if it was okay with you.

Zan ate the slice in silence as he glared at Urahara, who seemed to be very amused at what the Mod soul had done. How he wanted to hit the idiotic genius right now... but decided that now wasn't the best time to do so. He would get the guy sooner or later... and revenge would be so sweet.

He wondered what Hana had gone to do. He doubted she had just gone on a walk, if she had she wouldn't have got out of her Gigai. Did she go looking for whoever it was she was looking for? Did she find this person? Why was she even looking for this person? His mind was filled with questions.

"So. What do you think about Pizza?" He asked as he finished his slice.

He kind of wanted to ask her more about herself since she hadn't really answered his qustion well... at least not in his opinion. However he didn't think now was an appropriate time to be asking personal questions like that and decided to give it a few days till she was more comfortable with him. Then he'd try and learn more abou the mysterious Hana.

"She stole my Pizza slice out of my hand." Nero growled "The only reason I didn't punch her was because I could tell it wasn't you in it."

The mod soul had been very annoying. It had come back and he had instantly been able to tell that it wasn't really Hana in the body. It then proceeded to try and cuddle up close to him, which if it was Hana he probably wouldn't mind, but the Mod soul was handsy. He had pushed the annoying thing away and it then proceeded to take the Pizza slice out of his hand and eat it very rapidly.

"Next time you pop one of those damn things let me know... so I can leave." He Told her irritably "I hate Mod souls and have killed a few that had one of those damn rabbit themed ones in them."

He hated those 'Chappy' Mod souls. They were the absolute worst things he had ever seen. If he ever went to Soul Society he would find out who made those damn things and beat the crap out of them. He wasn't kidding, if he went he would track that bastard down and beat them so hard they'd be in the hospital for a month.

Nero shrugged. He would let her do what she wanted and if she wanted to be alone. He filled his cup with some more Sake and downed it before eating another slice of pizza. Hana's life sounded like a strange combination of tedious and complicated. He would hate to have her life since he prefered to have the freedom to do what he wanted when he wanted.

"Her life sounds dull." He commented as he took another drink of Sake "Why would anyone want to live such a dull life? Life should be exciting! Not repetitive."

"Some people prefer to live a life of repetitiveness Zant-san." Tessai commented "It makes them feel safe."

Nero just lay back on the ground with his eyes closed and his arms behind his head.

"Still sounds like a sucky life to me." He replied.

I plan on having the crystals that are scattered across the Empire are being used to reinforce the Illusion. While they're intact the illusion is practically unbreakable but when broken the illusion is rather easily undone.

"I found it in some ruins that predate the Empire by at least fifty years." He replied quietly as he followed behind her "I was searching for some information on the mass illusion thats over the Empire but only found a few scraps... and that necklace. It only works once unfortunately."

He had hoped to find the source of the illusion or information pertaining it. All he ad found were tidbits about crystals that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. He hoped to find some information by raiding an Imperial Academy but hadnt thought of a way to get in or out.

"I believe that th crystals that are everywhere have something to do with the illusion but how they're involved exactly I have no idea." He told her quietly "I've smashed a few to see if it broke the illusion but nothing changed."

In that case it would be better if she was looking for Rukia. Maybe she's a forward scout for Byakuya and Renji. Its not like the Squads don't work together on certain things. Plus it means she has a reason to have to go back to the Soul Society when Rukia does. If Hana was in Karakura to keep an eye on Hollows she would have no reason to return until her assigned time period is over.
