Historical/fantasy romance plots ;) (M/M or M/F)

Hello there! So, I'm looking for new roleplays and have something quite specific in mind.

Before we go into my plot ideas, I have a couple of requirements that I'd like my partner to meet:

- Be able to write more than a couple of sentences; I can go as long as you can, but I don't go much less than 400 words per reply. Oneliners will be an immediate no.
- 3rd person only, tense can be discussed
- M/M or M/F pairings; preferably M/M but I don't really mind either (though I will only play submissive/bottom or female roles, it does not mean my characters are useless maiden in distress types)
- Good grammar - mistakes happen and that's fine, but overall good grammar and punctuation is appreciated
- I'm not looking for porn, but sex will be involved

Anyway, if you're still here and interested, let's go to the plot ideas I had! I mentioned I have a specific craving, but I am also open to suggestions so feel free to still contact me even if you're not into what I'm suggesting next.

So basically I want to do an accidental time-travel plot. My character gets caught up in time-travel by accident and ends up in a period of history - would be awesome if we could do Sengoku period (feudal) Japan, but as I'm aware not a lot of people are quite so familiar with this era and setting, I'm open to many other periods and countries as well. There s/he meets your character and they can either get dragged into a dark, dramatic scheme that ties neatly into a historical event or my character gets your character to help with finding a way back home or perhaps your character finds my character suspicious and keeps him/her under surveillance, making it harder for my character to find a way home. Or anything along those lines. Also worth noting that I'm not too strict with historical accuracy, as long as there are no glaring, obvious huge mistakes and the feeling of the era is there.

Another idea I had is my character getting stuck in a video game world. Somehow s/he gets sucked into a video game, where your character is the main protagonist - or main villain! - or simply the funny side character who no one paid much attention to before. Anyone you want, really. And my character has to figure out 1) how to stay alive inside the game and 2) how to get back to the real world. But maybe... eventually s/he won't want to leave?

Those were the ideas that I'm really craving to do right now. Here's a couple things I like in my roleplays in case you want to try something else though:

- Romance
- Historical
- Drama
- Adventure
- "Reluctant companions" catching feelings for each other
- Arranged marriage settings
- Bring on the plot-twists (lots of drama and heartbreak for the characters)
- But also fluff has to happen every now and then

Some gender bending anyone? (M/F)

Hey! So I'm looking for plots that start with my character as a male and he somehow gets turned into a female - could be 80% smut, or with more plot; I'm up for both.

My replies range from 400 to 1000+ words and I don't do one-liners. I require details and description and all that fun stuff. I'd ask that your replies don't go much under 200 words at least. I'm into a very large variety of kinks; I actually don't have many limits at all (mostly my limits are scat, vore and extreme pain). If there's anything you want to include, there's a 95% chance I'm up for it.

I had some ideas that I'd like to do, but if you have your own plot ideas, feel free to pitch them to me and we'll see what we can do with them! (The gender changes can be done with magic or some sort of advanced medicine, up to you!)

1) My character (MC) is in college mostly for the girls. He isn't a great student, but he manages to pass most of his classes. What he likes to do more than study is party, drink, hang out with his friends and chase girls. One of said girls got her heart broken by MC and went perhaps slightly crazy - she decides since MC seems to like girls so much, maybe he should become one. MC wakes up one morning and indeed finds himself changed into a girl. YC (your character) is MC's best friend and almost as much of an ass as MC was. He notices the 'new girl' in his classes and MC is in trouble when YC finds him/her cute without knowing who s/he really is.

2) MC is dating YC's sister. Long story short, MC is a complete ass to her. YC wants to get back at him and, in the best case scenario, teach MC first hand how a woman should be treated. Perhaps there would have been better ways to go about it, but YC settles on kidnapping MC and turning him into a woman. He keeps MC at his house, planning on turning him/her back when MC's learned his/her lesson, but things get complicated when feelings start to happen.

3) MC finds himself stuck inside a video game, in the body of a female character. YC happens to be the main bad guy of the whole game - their paths cross and MC is about to learn that perhaps this bad guy isn't really as bad as the game made him seem. Still, MC has to try to figure a way out of the game while trying to keep his feelings in check and keeping his true identity a secret.

4) The barbarians are invading the kingdom MC's the youngest prince of. YC takes MC hostage and while they must keep him alive, no one said YC can't have a little fun with him, right?

Historical M/M fantasy roleplays

So I'm looking for some more M/M roleplays and there are a few specific themes I'd like to try if anyone here is up for them. I'll explain more about them in a sec :)

I'm looking for long-term roleplays, though I can't promise a reply every day or even every other day. I'll try to reply at least once a week (usually more), but I ask that you understand I'm also busy with university. I'm very much into complex plots and well thought out characters, my roleplays often have plenty of side characters and fantasy in them. As for post length, I prefer several paragraphs, but the minimum I'd like to see is about 400 words per reply - I can usually go well over 1000 words if my partner is into really long posts as well.

So now that you have a little bit of an understanding of what I look for in a partner, let me tell you what themes and other fun stuff I like in my rps:

- Fantasy
- Romance
- Angst and drama (this is perhaps one of my favourite things <.< )
- But also a decent amount of fluff to smooth out the angst
- Action
- Smut
- Historical settings

Anyway, those are a few things that I would like to include in the roleplay.

Something important to note is that if there is smut involved, I only play submissive/bottom characters - I don't enjoy playing dominant/top characters. This does not mean my characters are bawling maiden-in-distress types.

Anyway! If you're still with me, let me pitch a few plot ideas I had. All of these can be fixed and tweaked and changed up or even combined if you find yourself interested in more than one.

(MC = my character, YC = your character)

Plot 1: YC is a young greek god, yet to make a name for himself among their worshippers on Earth, who has angered an elder god or goddess. As punishment, he's now stuck in the body of a mortal man in ancient Greece, doomed to wander Earth with only a fraction of his past power until he finds a way to appease the elder god/dess. Years go by and the wrath of the elder god/dess is long-lived, and just as YC is beginning to lose hope he stumbles upon MC; a slave who has escaped his master and is now on the run. As a split-second decision YC decides to help him, but what he never anticipated was that MC might just be the answer to his... mortality problem.

Plot 2: Another plot set in ancient Greece (could also be Rome or Egypt but I'll assume we're in Greece for now), this time MC is a mercenary - not known for his brute strength, but for his stealth, quick thinking and skills as an assassin - who is often hired by wealthy, influential people to take care of someone causing them trouble. Athens and Sparta are at war with each other, but Sparta has a considerable advantage over Athens; a demigod, YC, fighting for them. MC is sent to assassinate YC, but knowing he'll never win a fight against YC or even get close enough, he decides to befriend the demigod first and catch him off guard for a swift assassination. When unexpected feelings start to blossom, though, MC is conflicted between what he is feeling and finishing the job he has started.

Plot 3: In the Golden Age of Piracy, YC is a pirate captain full of ambition and a longing for the good life with riches. He hears about a convoy from faraway lands, assuming the ships are filled with treasure, there for the taking. After having made an alliance with several other captains, the ambush is successful and they raid the grand ships headed to Europe - only to find a few gold trinkets and a prince, MC, who the whole convoy was for. To YC's surprise MC begs him to steal MC away on his ship and deliver him somewhere he won't be found, the prince wanting to escape his restricted life and the arranged marriage he is on his way to be forced into. Adventures await them when YC, after initial reluctance, agrees.

Plot 4: Renaissance-ish setting for this one, could also be medieval. A country torn by civil war has been divided for years now - there are more people who only remember war than those who remember the peace that came before. The king has ordered every able-bodied man to fight, those who refuse to go into war against the rebels are publicly hanged without trial when caught; the same fate as is met by any man siding with the rebels. And yet the rebels continue to recruit more and more men. MC is a young man living in a little town in the countryside - he has lost his brother and father to the war, his mother died of grief and his sister, eventually, of sickness and not having enough food to feed themselves with. But when the king's men came knocking on his door to see if there was anyone to recruit, they were met with a heartbroken girl who explained she had already lost her two brothers and father. MC disguised himself for years from then on, not wanting to chance being sent to fight - he knew he'd die in an instant. When a group of soldiers settles in the town when there are reports of the rebels holding camp near there, MC catches a young soldier's, YC, eye and things get more complicated when YC proves to be quite persistent.

Just a few ideas, like I said. I'm also totally open for other things! Pitch me your own idea if you have a plot you want to do :)
