Bio

From the mists I come, looking for a way to let my words fly free in this realm of imagination.

I have several years' experience with roleplaying in a forum like this, mostly with my Sonic the Hedgehog or Rockman.exe fan characters.
In the real world, I have a Bachelor's degree in writing and I write reports all day at work. What I crave is to stretch my vocabulary and get back into some creative writing.

Anyone want to join me?

Notes
I'm a genteel soul; I like to keep things PG where I can.
I prefer RPs with no more than 2-3 total players, to encourage simplicity, but I'm willing try to large groups.

Other Fandoms that I can think of at the moment
Pokemon
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Star Trek

Old Deviant Art site (it's a bit dusty)

Surveying the room and the small crowd within the simply furnished tavern, Kat smiles a small smile heads over to the fireplace with only one thing on her mind; getting dry.

However, she's careful not to let her tail escape from her long gray cloak. She didn't quite know how she'd be received in this small village, or if they'd even ever seen a cat-girl before.

Tugging at the hood of her cloak once again, she spared one more glance of the room before sitting as close to the fireplace as she dared.

As she watched the dancing flames, she was aware of movement around her. A large presence, judging from the heavy footfalls.

Footfalls that grew nearer. There was a jangle of metal and the sharp sound of a sword being drawn from its sheath.

Kat drew her tail in closer to her, tensing.

She looked up at the large warrior quickly, seeing all she needed of his scowling face. 'Uh oh. A hunter. This spells trouble. No, Kat. Don't make a move. Maybe he's just.. warming his sword near the fire? Or his chainmail?' she thought desperately, trying not to make a scene. She hoped against hope for some sort of distraction to let her dry off in peace.
Hi. Just getting used to this site's unique format and trying to reawaken some writing skills I haven't used consistently in ages.
Kat tugged at the hood of her cloak as she walked quickly through the rain. It felt like it had been raining for ages, and she was aching to find someplace warm to dry off. Especially her tail.

She glanced over her shoulder, making sure her feline tail was safely tucked away from the rain.

Spotting an inn down the road, she walked faster, hoping that they'd have room at the inn's tavern near the fireplace.
@ImmortalToast Want to do a short RP in the free RP section to help me get back in the groove?
:D Thanks! I miss creative writing. I write reports all day at work.

In high school I used to frequent a Rockman.exe roleplaying forum and a Sonic the Hedgehog roleplaying forum.
Interested.
A figure begins to emerge from the fog, becoming clearer with each step. She pauses, figure still obscured by the mist. It's been a long time since she's been on this side of the mist. She wonders if it's truly the right time. There's so much to do on the other side of the mist, so many responsibilities in that other world.

And yet.. She has been craving this a world like this, a world she used to know very well. A world where anything could happen, where words have such power, such delight.

She takes a step further, blinking in the light. "Hello? This isn't the world I used to play in, but I would love a chance to stretch my imagination once again."

She looked down shyly. "That is, if you would have me. I may be called to that other realm, the realm of responsibilities and may need your patience."
