No worries at all. There are plenty of us in this one that our posts can spread out and not cause anything to crash. :)

Posting up my demon tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

I'll do a head count tonight as well to see who we're missing before moving on.
No worries. Best of luck. :)
The morning had started long before the sun had peeked over the edge of the earth, Ivanna up and working herself to be more than prepared for the day. She needed to keep her edge as training day always seemed to be the most difficult for the new recruits. The women would be rather fragile in spirit and the men would forget very quickly that she and her fellow female Doctore were warriors by nature and lacked patience or understanding of any sort for their uncaged desires. It would prove to be a long day and she shook her head at the very idea of how much her old friend, Heimdal, would enjoy watching her threaten the lives of more than one unruly young male on the first day.

A quick breakfast of fruit and water and she was out in the darkness of dawn, her body barely clad in enough cloth to cover the parts she'd rather keep private. She refused to allow hindrance to her activities, her body needing to be free and capable at making adjustments at the drop of a feather. The surrounding structure in Ludus allowed for training to take place and yet they were capable of keeping the newly captured slaves on the grounds without concern. Only one opening on the eastern wall had fault in it and for that she was grateful. The climb was steep and yet her grappling hooks, one in each hand, allowed her to scale the wall and slip over, the descent one only for those that covet death and yet once a week she would test her strength, her agility and her fear to see if she could break her time in climbing down the steep rock and back up before the sun would break into the sky.

That morning she'd almost lost her grip, her balance beam walk with death causing her to feel more alive than anything else might. She finished her workout and changed quickly into the clothes that Canis requested of them, moving to the arena areas and moving in beside Heimdal as the gates opened. She looked toward them and found herself quite pleased with the size and rather offensive scowls that played upon their faces. The morning should prove to be quite adventuresome as it always was. She looked to Canis and lifted her head a little. "What new and ingenious way do you have in splitting them up to work with us?"
Very much so. :)

We'll have to think through plot points for the next part soon I suppose, but we can do that in here no problem.
"Good," Sara said as she slipped into the booth, her eyes moving to the bar and a smile touching her lips as she laughed at his comment. "I don't know... that bartender seems to be more interested in the male at the other end of the bar than the makeup artists."

She turned her attention back to Scott, his face full of excitement and energy just exuding from him. It was nice for a change to be in the presence of someone that was fully alive and living in the moment, the warmth of his persona almost tangible. Some part of her wanted to slide into the other side of the booth just to see if she could warm herself and wake from the deep sleep she realized she'd slipped into somehow.

The waitress showed back up and sat their drinks down, Sara inspecting the beer before taking a long drink of it and sighing with relief. The fluffy white head of the beer sat on her lip and she cared not for being proper, licking it up and tilting her head as if to tell him to hold on a moment while she reveled in her drink. He was far too excited about whatever he'd wanted to discuss with her and where she prayed it was something about creating a new silicon based product or possibly testing a new radio frequency for their heart rate monitors, she felt a bit of the foreshadowing of what was to come as he slid the folder toward her.

She was quite proud of herself by her reaction seeing that her stomach flipped over and her heart faltered if only for a moment. She placed her hand on the folder and picked up the beer, sliding it back toward him and taking a long drink. "I'm not interested. I know this project and its not for me, Kelly. You should run screaming from it too." She sat back and let her eyes move across the bar, the shock of the moment hidden under the facade of someone trying to relax and doing a good job of it.

"You hungry? Let's get something to eat..." She waved the waitress over and asked for two menu's and another beer seeing that more than half of hers was gone.
As was customary, Abigail stopped by the front door, handing over her weapon to Bruno who snarled in response. She simply gave him a look of passive resistance and made her way down the hall, her sister moving in sync with her perfectly. The study was down the hall on the left and they stopped just outside the door for a moment while Abby pressed her ear to it and looked at Concetta, "Sounds like he's busy with our enforcer. Let's bust up the party for fun if nothing else."

She rapped lightly on the door and walked in, the Don looking up and inquiring of her timing. Abby smiled at his jostling and pointed toward her sister to make introductions. "Don DeMarco, this is my sister, Concetta. Our timing was due to traffic. It's like someone important died today and everyone decided to drive a respectful speed in honor of him." She moved back to allow Concetta to shake the Don's hand.

He lifted her small fingers to his mouth and placed a kiss on her knuckles. "Pleasure is all mine. Your sister has told me plenty about you. Please have a seat and we'll talk about you coming to join our family, hmm?"

Abigail moved back a little as Antonino made his exist, the man old fashion and seemingly to disapprove of her tactic by this "without interruption" phrasing. She looked to Vincent and waited for him to direct her, Lenny sticking his head in to let everyone know he was on the property. Abby moved toward the door, looking over her shoulder.

"I'm going to find Antonino and Lenny. I need to touch base with them both unless you need me, boss?" She waited for him to dismiss her and then walked languidly to the kitchen, the smell of breakfast filling the air and causing her stomach to grumble. She slid in between Lenny and Antonino, her smile for the cook a warm one.

"Hello, Abby. Good morning, my dear. What can I make you?" She stopped in front of the underboss and reached out to touch her arm.

"I'll have whatever your cooking. Smells wonderful." She looked to Lenny and let her eye brow raise a little. "How are things? All of your businesses running smoothly or do you need muscles over here to set anyone straight?"

She held in the soft laugh that bubbled up at Antonino's reaction to her. The two of them would be leading the way into the future and Vincent wasn't getting any older. To get him on her side she'd have to prove herself she supposed, and she had the perfect idea as to how to go about it.
Odd, though I'm glad you guys are seeing her.

Sounds good. No rush. I'm getting off in a little while, so I'll post up tomorrow or Sunday depending on the activities scheduled. :)
