Current If you think flattery will get you something from me, you are most certainly correct.

Bio

Best summed up with the phrase: "Tries really hard."
A pitiable excuse of a person, but I try really hard.

The voice behind him not only knew that he was a noble, she was also able to recognize his house. Spinning around eagerly, he thought for a moment that the voice was just a mirage... until he looked down. Would young be the right word? No, the word he was looking for was "unexpected." She realized who he was and he noticed that no one was really paying attention or looking for her. But who she was can come later; she asked him a question and it was rude to keep her waiting.

“I came on my own volition, milady. I had heard a rumor in a neighboring village and came to confirm it myself.”

Leifr felt uncomfortable holding two separate conversations, but upon glancing over his shoulder he saw the barkeep perfectly able to hold three conversations, including Leifr's. His size, his speed, his ability... Leifr felt slightly belittled, but thankful that he allowed Leifr to be able focus on one at a time. Then again, this girl who appeared out of nowhere went straight towards Leifr, even known he was a noble. Did she have some business, or- Ah, that must be it.

Looking back at the young girl, he smiled lightly at his realization. Yes, it was definitely that. Out of all the people here, one would definitely go to him for that. That reason must be why he didn't see any guardians and why the patrons seemed to avoid looking at her. Without a doubt, it is that.

He stood to the side and gestured to the bar.

“If you wish, milady, I could order you something. Pray, do understand that there are things I shouldn't order, but you seem an intelligent woman who knows better than that.”

If Leifr remembered correctly, little girls like being treated as adults. Sometimes. Oh, shoot, did he makes a mistake? Maybe she wanted to be treated like a little girl instead! Darn it, Leifr, he berated himself in his head, you should have thought harder before making such an assumption!
I'll tell you all what I plan on making.

...But let me actually get started on it before I promise anything. And before that, I need to hurry up and finish the IC post.

Edit:
The only reason anyone would approach Leifr is for that.
And the temptation of treating her like a child... it was great, but it would be better being Fiore's forte. Not to say others don't think of her as a child, though. Much confusion and disbelief shall be had when she proves her age (just revealing it probably won't be enough).
Pyromania99 said O-other people are making CS's? Whatever shall we do?

I'm trying quite hard right now to figure out how to twist this into a jest, but I can't seem to do it and my mind keeps nagging me to get to work on an IC post.

I've lost this time, Pyromania99, but next time won't be so easy.
Thank you for that, Ryu.

I think I'll jump on the bandwagon and make another CS as well. One) because other people are doing it and I am a proud sheep, two) I want to pass the time in a way that I can stop whenever I want, and three) making a character is fun.
Renose, how much can one buy with 5 Talm? 1 Talm? How much do commoners make on average (Not that high-paying blacksmithing / artisan professions, but people like laborers, soldiers, maids, etc)?

Just so I know how much better Leifr is compared to the common trash that is peasantry.
(I really just want to know how the average person lives in Ithelia.)

After all, a day of dried, non-perishable food it is only 1 iL, which is 10 Talm.
...And Fiore gave a 2 iL tip for, of all things, a flagon of water...
Just how elated / disappointed is that dignified wench?
Renose is rather good at pointing characters at where to go.
It was rather difficult to extend my post to more than just "He went over to the barkeep and said GIMME A QUEST."
But thanks to that I was able to be a little bit faster. Maybe. I just hope I didn't sacrifice anything for that speed...

Edit:
Despite being a meat-shield, Leifr does a good job at dying very quickly in our little side-thoughts.
The energy of the tavern was contagious, but Leifr didn't just come here to drink and make merry. Avoiding a few stumbling patrons, he found his way to the bar counter. The burly man was currently occupied with other patrons... or so Leifr thought, but suddenly the man was directly across from him. Leifr fumbled with his words as he tried remembering how in Gallastre the man moved that fast, but with a quick shake of his head he ignored the question and refocused. As soon as Leifr was about to open his mouth, the barkeep was occupied pouring more ale into another patron's flagon. His speed was truly unbelievable...

Finally waving the barkeep over, Leifr spoke quickly and efficiently so as to not waste the man's time:

“I came here after hearing about a rumor about missing peo-”

A laughing patron threw his arm around Leifr's neck and slumped over nearly dragging Leifr with him. Leifr tried helping the man up, but he quickly pulled Leifr's head down.

“Be a little quieter, will ya lad?” The patron whispered somberly. “There's men here who aren't drinking because of the festival.”

Letting Leifr go, the patron nodded towards the barkeep, and stumbled back to his table with a big, drunken smile on his face.

Leifr rubbed his neck where the man held him down, but looked back to the bartender with a both apologetic and expectant look.
Leifr fumbles remembering the Scribe's Emblem.

But it does sort've look like that one emblem from the concubines chambers, something that meant...
Oh, now Leifr remembers! It's...

Tears start trailing down Leifr's cheeks as looks at Lyrisa.

"Don't worry, little girl. You don't have to do that stuff anymore, because I'll adopt you and show you that there is still light in this cruel world."
Pyromania99 said
Also, Lyrisa would recognize his Emblem? Would he recognize the Scribe's? OHH, so many questions.

Leifr fumbles in recognizing the Scribe's emblem.
Leifr feels sick.
Leifr has a terrible migraine.
Leifr feels sick.
Leifr feels sick.
Leifr is unconscious.
Leifr has died from overusing his brain.
I type slow though...
Very well, I accept your challenge.
