Current If you think flattery will get you something from me, you are most certainly correct.

Bio

Best summed up with the phrase: "Tries really hard."
A pitiable excuse of a person, but I try really hard.

Leifr braced himself to be thrown from his steed, but was gratefully surprised when the warhorse seemed more keen on continuing the attack. A quick sideways glance allowed Leifr to see Fiore and Lyrisa pressing the attack against the crossbow-wielding bandit. Leifr nervously chuckled at their apparent success so far and then answered the bandit's claim with his own:

“The only thing you'll see is the humiliation of defeat!”

Not wanting to disappoint his steed's enthusiasm, Leifr readied his cursed blade once more and together he and his warhorse continued their two-fold assault, Leifr's greedy sword falling towards the bandit's weapon-arm in an attempt to disarm him, spending more energy than normal in effort to make the blade strike true.
Keia Vewyx wrote a post and was about to hit [Submit Post] when he noticed something rather strange...
The post was only four sentences long.

That's no good, and so I ask you all to wait a bit longer for my next post while I figure out a way to not make it so... basic.
The bastard attacked the Magnificent Magnhildr / Venerable Vera / Graceful Gwenna!
"I'll save you two on my trusty stee--"
"Eh, wait... where are you going? I'm suddenly fighting him alone?"

Let's hope that the axe-bandit decides challenge Leifr instead of turning his back to the horse and then runs after a easier target, like a little girl or half-dead man.
These fighting scenes have a way of making my posts rather short~

Since Leifr had to move to attack I'm assuming that his horse does not get the free attack like before.

Edit:
And with this post, it'll probably be called a night and the conclusion of the battle will be tomorrow. Unless the axe-bandit counterattacks Leifr and knocks him off his horse, then we're in deep trouble~
But nevertheless, the next round in the fight is Fiore's and Ryu usually retires a few hours before this time so I'm not expecting any new posts until tomorrow.
Leifr deeply hoped that the man was just unconscious and not slain, but now was not the time to check. Within moments, Lyrisa mishandled her weapon and struck Fiore, but Fiore was able to control his pain and parry his enemy once again and return yet another piercing thrust. Leifr's mind cheered for Fiore's graceful fighting style, but a figure flashed to his side and the glint of a cruel blade soon drew blood from Fiore's body.

“Fiore!”

Tightly gripping the reigns with his shield hand Leifr quickly snapped them and charged past Lyrisa towards the axe-wielding bandit. With his warhorse's speed he should be able to have quite a bit of force, and Leifr gladly let the cursed blade devour a bit more of his life if in return it would eat the bandit's as well. Leifr swung hard in tandem with the force of his steed's charge, the khopesh cleaving through the air at a low angle as the twisted blade ravenously lurched towards the presumed bandit leader.
What?! You're willingly going to sleep, and not planning on staying awake until you pass out?
Sword and shield bandit is still alive. He's in pretty bad shape thanks to Fiore stabbing him twice, though, so Fiore should be able to take care of him even if he took an axe to the torso.

If I had to choose, go after the melee fighters. The crossbowmen can't really hit Fiore right now that easily due to him being in melee (or so you are free to assume anyway). Either way though, if you want Fiore to live, I suggest rushing to his aid.

Yeah, but I was actually more worried about Lyrisa. Maybe she can maneuver around so that the brawling group is between the crossbowman and her so he can't get an easy snipe on her...

Either way, between defeating an enemy and saving an ally, the kind and noble Leifr's choice is obvious!

Edit:
The axe-bandito is still mounted on his horse, correct?
Leifr's hardest choice:
Go after the now lone crossbowman and hope to defeat him quickly to take pressure off the others... Or rush to Lyrisa and Fiore's aid and hopefully save Fiore but with the possibility of taking severe damage from the unopposed crossbowman.

The tactical advantage of numbers is made obvious in this fight...
