They dislike rules and regulations, and as such it is very hard to keep them controlled, and is likely the reason they haven't outright taken control of the mortal realm. This is where your Balrogs, your Oni, and your Asura come from.

Hell yeah, Asura/Asuryaa are official demons and are important enough to be examples for other demons.

I'm stuck choosing between the reimagining of my six-armed nun-zerker, or a duo between a passive, useless father and his ever-cheerful, mechanically-augmented, much more useful robo-daughter.

But when I do choose, I'll send the CS this way quickly.
Just expect some GM involvment. One involves demons, which may or may not be the same as the previous Old Guild RUNE and currently have not been explained, and the other will probably involve golems, death/souls, and reanimation.

I'd usually say that my Nation sheet was progressing right about now, but I'd be lying.
I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with something good, but I'll sleep on it and see if I can't think of anything tomorrow.

I'd normally choose #2 because I still have the old Istosian map from some time ago and I'm pretty lazy, but #4 is pretty clear on its diversity and biomes. Things also feel a bit closer in #4; it'll help jump-start nation interactions, so I'll vote for #4.

We'll see about what I choose. If no one else goes for a water-based race, I might try for some type of fish shogunate. But then again, steam spider snipers climbing along the walls and roofs sounds so fun~

Forgive me for having to skip out on this last time in the Old Guild, DEMoGorgon47. Although I did want to join, I couldn't really think of a race to join as.
Istos and its trade-oriented spiderling citizens were really fun, but someone already submitted a nation that supposedly accounted for 60%+ of all global trade and there's no bigger turn off for me in nation RPs than something akin to being the "best in the world" without the history to support it.

If I may join, I might try a more antagonistic rendition of the spiderific Istos~

How could you forget the little blue Automatron, I-Kori Michani? With her little scrap golems and flying castle over the desert, picking up random elves and shapeshifters for no reason at all other than to freak them out with some creepy gargoyles?

A long, long time ago in a guild not unlike this one, there was some idiot named Keia something or other who made a six armed demon woman from IGNIS. She liked to think of herself as a nun and heal people who were shot in the legs with crossbow bolts, rather than listen to her berserker instinct and punch people with the wrath of an Asura until her arms broke apart...
Yeah, she was a fun character to create.
