Sorry for the demeaning tone. I just wanted to try and be a combat cyborg very very much overdue for maintenance if this is a postapocalypse of a somewhat higher tech level than real life.
Is this a usual vanilla postapocalypse along the lines of something like The Last of Us?
Color me interested and count me in if it's possible. I'll either make a shameless ripoff of Dio or a hebrew-themed ancient world eater marine.
"Angron is a lion's whelp; on prey, my son, have you grown. He crouches, lies down like a lion, like the king of the beasts; who dare rouse him?"
Ah, so exactly as i've wrote earlier. That's simple but suitable. And what are werewolves themselves? Sworn protectors of nature? Just animals trying to make a living in the world like humans?
I might make a second character cause i've got one cool idea that i really want to bring into life. Can i try?
That reminds me, Whimsley! Do you have any ideas for why your kin fears silver? Is it a hereditary curse or some sort of ancient pledge between werewolves and spirits of nature?
Thanks Haley!

Well, I know this is far from realistic with vampires and what not, but the location of your heart being where it is relates to pressure of blood flow being able to counter earth's gravity at our relative elevation. Wait, do Vampires even have blood flow? Why does it kill them to stab them in the heart then?

A stake to the heart does not kill but instead paralyzes the vampire stabbed. I always imagined that it is so because heart is the seat of the vampire's power and the main container of his undead blood where it gathers and effervesces. There's no scientific reason to it but instead a mystical one, it's like why werewolves are burned by silver and draugirs can be stopped from rising by putting a pair of open shears on their chests.
So vampires automatically completely regenerate whatever wounds they've received with time, but wounds left by fire or werewolf claws will heal much slower and will not heal completely, leaving a scar.

In that case it seems sensible that i do can change my body and move my heart into another area of my chest, but it will always quickly return back to it's usual place after some time, my body perceiving any change done to it as a "wound" and trying to "regenerate" it, is that correct?

Another question just out of morbid curiosity - if a vampire has a limb amputated and has say, a metal sleeve put over the stump in order to prevent it growing back, will the undead flesh somehow tear through metal or will the regeneration actually be stopped until the impediment is removed?
Yes, but my Art of Flesh is specifically able to change bodies of vampires, isn't it? Plus, vampire's anatomy still can be... edited if enough force is applied - as far as i understand, he can lose limbs or take any sort of damage from weapons and various hazards, it's just that fire and werewolves and only them two can ever KILL a vampire. Other sorts of damage will affect and hinder him but can't force his soul out of the body, right?

If that is the case, we should work out how the vampires respond to damage and how they "heal" it if at all and then, out of that data, learn why is that so that Kreslav's Art of Flesh can't affect some particular parts of his biology, for example the heart.

First things first - Haley, do vampires heal from the wounds they've somehow received, or do they forever mark the vampire's body and never go away? Like for example, a vampire is shot in the head and the bullet leaves two unsightly holes, in the forehead and in the back of it. Vampire, animated by some unholy mystical force, doesn't care at all about the damage done to his brain and bones and remains perfectly functionable, but will that wound ever close somehow? Similarly, what if a vampire pierces his nose or ear with some jewelry? The body is, technically speaking, wounded and changed from the state it was in when it was turned into the vampire - how, if at all, wil it return to the previous state?
