Element Wars: Dawn of a new era.

Armed forces rushed the hallways, and Devon was lost among the arrows, not knowing where he was even going. He didnt have much blood left from fighting before he was gassed, and he wasnt sure he could handle any more. But as forces gushed towqrds him, he was forced to fight. He was hoping he would get at least a little fight in, but he wasnt too eager to use his blood. So instead he used his animal DNA to leap to the ceiling and hold strong there until armed forces were directly underneath. Then, he fell down upon one of their heads, grabbing their gun and shooting them with it. Then he easily took down the other 9 men with two guns. He held onto the guns as he made his way down the hallway. He saw someone in the hallway ahead of him. The lights had burnt out all around them. He recognized her as the girl with wings from the dangerous room. He stopped when he was on the last remaining light. "Are you friendly?" he asked the girl. Her back was to him, and suddenly five orbs of green light shot out from her back, zipping around Devon and burning his skin. "Hey, I'm on your side!!" He yelled. "I am sorry, this is necessary." she said. Devon used the blood seeping from one of his burnt spots to lash out and smash one of the orbs, however the orb just sapped the blood inside of itself, and turned blue, flying back to the girl. Then, all the other orbs smashed into devon's skin, electrocuting and burning him, and they all turned blue as well. Once all the blue orbs gathered around the girl, she dissipated into a blue light. Devon limped down the hall, feeling drained and sleepy. He could barely move when he reached the room. Scientists asked him a question but he couldnt even hear them, he was losing feeling in his body, and as the needle pierced his skin, his legs gave out, and a whole new fire began. He could feel the serum coursing through him, like fire, and he regained all feeling. He began thrashing wildly and screaming, and he knew he was dead. He felt himself losing conciousness and then, right before he lost wakefulness, he saw the door open, and heard yelling. Then he felt dead.

Hanna made her way down the hall, and she had met armed forces but explained that she was not resisting. She noticed a small spot of knocked out lights and thought that was curious. And then she made it to the room where she assumed she could be given this "serum". She figured since she was already human, it wouldnt affect her and she could get a new life. But when she opened the door, her heart nearly stopped. Blood was everywhere. All over everything. She felt a presence and screamed as something rushed past her, knocking her over. She cried. A lot. And then, regaining her composure, she walked to the other side of the room, through the puddles of blood, and past the corpses of scientists, and used the phone at the other end of the room to page the woman from the room, saying "T-There has been an attack. I came here to get the serum and...they were all dead". She slumped to the floor and waited to be told where to go to get the serum.

Devon scoffed at the girl. A cure!? They were more likely to poison then try that! As soon as the dot was ripped open Devon was off. As he sprinted down the hallway, he noticed arrows on the floor. He had not heard the girl say where they lead, so he assumed exit. He followed them quickly.

Hanna was unsure of herself. She was human, but she would be taken to prison if she spoke up. She uncertainly followed the arrows.

Hawk stood docile, waiting for commands.

if anyone wants some backup characters then i opened it up so that Devon will find them in his highly dangerous room. But if you dont want them to be in that room then its cool :)

Hanna was terrified, she had no clue what was happening, and when the girl started firing, she screamed loud and clear. She didnt ask for this.

Devon was fuming at the girl's view on peace. he could hear her through speakers and could see the other room from a monitor on the wall. He was bound pretty tightly, he didnt think he could access any blood like this. He looked around observing his surroundings. Then he saw it. A girl was bound, and her head was slumped back, a small bloodstain on the wall behind her. They must have hit her head off the wall to knock her out. He focused his rage, and the bloodstain slowly started sizzling. He focused it to float over towards him, and then he ignited it, burning away the bonds on his hands. he used his hands to remove the rest of the bonds, and then stood up cautiously. He ran over first to the boy with the white hair, removing his headphones and whispering "don't attack me. I'm a hybrid, im gonna release you and we can all escape." The boy hummed in response. Devon removed the rest of his bonds, and then his gag and blindfold. The boy looked up at him with pale eyes, and he did not smile, he simply stood up and helped Devon release the others.
Devon released next the girl with blue hair, and was surpised when he removed the wrapping on her back and wings popped out, almost insect like. She wasnt very coherent, and she seemed dazed. The gas must be inhibiting her. She slumped back in the cold metal chair and mumbled sleepily. Devon then went on to release the other prisoners with the white haired boy. (Chance for any backup characters here, just say that Devon released them)

I genuinely sat around doing nothing while it was down.

Devon's eyes slowly opened. He looked up, unaware of what had happened. He was in a room filled with other hybrids, and it appeared he was the last one to wake up. He was covered in locks and latches, bandages covering most of his body. He started having groggy flashbacks. Fighting. Gas. He must have used to much of his blood, enough to cause brain damage. He glanced around the room. There was other hybrids that were heavily restrained there, the most heavily restrained included a boy with white hair who had his hands and feet secured, headphone-like devices covering his ears, a blindfold on, and his mouth turned down into a frown. Devon assumed he was awake at the occasional facial expressions that appeared. There was also a female figure that had her eyes blindfolded and she was tied up around the chest and waist. there were strange lumps on her back that could be seen through the bandages, and her hair was a silky pastel blue color.

Hanna woke up feeling numb. She wasnt restrained at all, but she also couldnt seem to remember most anything. She scanned her memory, and remembered the key details- the friends that went int the ruins with her never came out. She was quickly blamed for their murder and had been arrested and in the back of a police car when it happened. Everything started shaking as they were crossing a bridge, and everyone tarted floating for a few seconds, all the cars around then, the bridge itself even cracked upwards a bit. Then it all came crashing down at an alarming speed, crushing the bridge and smashing cars. Hanna wasnt badly injured, and she escaped through a broken window, running into the ruins right as the gas turned on. she instantly fell unconcious and was assumed a hybrid. She looked up, her memory mostly restored. There was a woman in the room, and a skinny teenager standing up. Everyone was already released fro their bonds.
