Plot ideas

I have a few, to give you some ideas about how my mind works. I do like heavy plot, a good solid direction is just as important as character. I want complicated stories and twists. My favourites have an element of 'all is not as it seems' which I think adds to the quality. 
I tend to favour dark and harsh realities. Bad things happen to people. I am not above writing gore, horror, violence, or sexual content. 
These ideas are not concrete, and mostly to give you an idea of what I like. I am willing to come up with a new story idea or something not listed here.

Here's a few ideas to get your mind going:

My Angel

A young man writes a piece of fiction, poem or story, about his idea woman. An angel he knows he will never attain as he made her up to be impossible, so he would never be hurt again. Beautiful, intelligent, and something more than a human could be. He describes her in perfect detail.
One day he is on an art site and spots photos from another artist. The photos eerily match his description.

The Perfect Life

At a glance, his life seems perfect, a reasonably paying job, a car, an apartment in the city, a wife. They always smile in all the photos... but scratch the surface, and one would see the smile is painted on. All is not so perfect. 
He never would have realized how much he resented his life if not for her... this creature of the night that has opened his eyes to this fake life he was living...

Familiar

A witch/wizard/conjurer must venture deep into a forest/dangerous terrain to find a familiar before they can become a true Caster... but when they return... the one with them is unlike anything anyone expected.

Twisted Fairy Tales

Less of a plot summary, more of a premise. 
The world of Tale is outside of ours, but once where it held the bright innocence, it has faded. For like all that were once children, it too, grew up. 

An alice in wonderland/fairy tale world that has become dangerous. The big bad wolves are mobsters, the mad hatter is a gangland warlord, red riding hood's grandmother is a whorehouse madam, The queen of heart's son is a mad prince and facist, the three little pigs are corrupt politicians, hansel and gretel are mercenaries, cinderella is an assassin. Think of a fairy tale, make it as brutal as you can, then pitch it to me. Is everyone insane? Awesome.

Painted Smiles

A Prince is happy in his world of luxury, he has fine clothes, expensive food, detailed living quarters and the world around him is beautiful, even the people in the court smile at him and he knows he is loved. Until one day.
(Two of many possible options)
He meets a girl from the other side and speaks to him without kissing his backside and he cannot help but be intrigued. And learns more of her, opening his eyes to the fact the world around him is a lie.
OR
He is woken roughly by people trying to kill him, and the smiles he thought that were kind, were just a mask… He is thrown into a river and nearly dead, but a strange girl who does not appear to be completely human, helps him.

Beyond the Tribe

A human girl and an Orc male meet by chance, while she is told to fear all of their kind… he is not so monstrous as she had expected… and through a series of situations where they must stay together to survive… a friendship grows and then something more than friendship...

The Wolf and The Maiden

Years ago in a time before this, legends tell of a Maiden, whose gaze and song could tame the heart of any beast, whose soul was pure and her light could defeat the darkness… At this time, she often fought the powers of the King of the Mountain, a King who desired power above all else, and he knew that this Maiden should be his, then he could conquer the land with the powers of darkness. He sent his Wolf to gain her trust and then capture her. The Wolf (a being that could change shape from man to Wolf and use extraordinary powers) met the Maiden and would spend much time with her… and the more he did, the more his heart changed. He fell in love with her… and after a time… they were married. 
But in a cruel twist of fate, she was killed by the King’s agents not long after… though her death unleashed a powerful light that damaged the Mountain King… 

The story had turned into legend and was all but a fairy tale… except for the Lonely Wolf… longingly searching for his Maiden to return, all whilst taking up her mantle and fighting back the forces of evil…

So many years and decades later… The Mountain King’s forces stirred again, growing stronger… and the Great Wizard announced… The Maiden has been reborn… and her powers were awakening, now that she had just come of age...

(The back story is easily changeable, just to give an idea really)

Inner Demons

A young man has an unwanted friend, one noone else can see… A demon has been following him since he was a child, it strikes out and protects him, but is crass and rude and has ruined the man’s life… on the run for crimes the demon committed, he has to keep moving… then one day, when he has nearly given up… he meets a girl with a dark past of her own… and both he and his demon are inexplicably drawn to her… shocked when she is able to see him. Along for the ride, she offers to help him find a way to unbind himself from his demon.

Stone Guardian

A girl adventures away from her village and discovers a stone statue of a warrior… in the twilight of the day she reaches out in awe… and at her touch he comes to life! The stoic warrior thinks her his mistress and vows to protect her… but how could she be when the statue is centuries old??

Impossible Target

A mercenary/assassin is hired to kill an important target… but when it comes time… the killer cannot fulfill the contract… something about the target makes the killer doubt their life.
