Here is my first attempt. It seems out of the ordinary in comparison to the others, but it said it could be any form... And I'd like to try this style out. Also... Apologies, I did this on mobile. 3am and... Sorta resting? Casseena - The Spider Queen. Keeper. Casseena had been around for a long time, experimenting with humans and ways of creating a brood. Ways that would not require her to lose focus on her surroundings and leaving herself wide open. Not exactly creating broods, more like... Producing. For a time it seemed that she required human bodies to mold her home... And feed her home. Her appearance is that of a massive drider. Not that of an impossible size, but in comparison to nearly that of a trebuchet. Any Constructs she had in mind to create were to only be driders and only the size of a horse and carriage. It was due to her size that she was afraid of doing much more than reproducing, using live hosts as breeding spawns of her spiderettes, but because they were so small, the hosts, she would barely get more than a max of two. Which is why she settled down, literally, and stopped grabbing random travelers. Because of her size, she couldn't fit into many places. Due to this, she burrowed into an underground crypt, and stayed with her heart in one place, protected by earth and stone, she'd make her spiderettes do the work of capturing humans, forcing them to work, and devouring them when they became to weak or sick. Now having the ability to reproduce them with her own body. (Strength, slight speed, breeding appendage similar to that of the Alien Queen from Alien/Alien vs Predator) Spiderette - Massive spiders in comparison to your ordinary household pest, as big as dogs and nastier than a rattlesnake combined with a rottweiler. Nasty bites, paralyzing poison, strong like ants, and hardened webbing make them perfect human-snatchers. But because they seem to like only eating what they were made to catch, having too many would starve them since a lot of what they capture need to be used as slaves. Still as squishable as a giant rat, but the exoskeleton defends against most substances. Dungeon - The Hive, an underground crypt which has one or two rooms from the main crypt, which aren't large enough to serve anything beneficial except a place to drop skeletons and the other to hold the heart. The place is covered and filled with hardened webbing (strong like plastic wrap only a lot harder, denser, and not easily cut. Not resistant to fire), and stickier than superglue (dissolves by spiderette saliva). The dungeon is currently trying an intimidating scheme, rather than a ready to defend stance.
Is this still available to join? Been reading the whole OP, and I am loving it.
I was browsing interest checks and currently ongoing ropleplays in the Nation Roleplays and as I was looking through a few, this one individual had been harassed by many other members. I was not there as the arguments were taking place and it was not my place to say anything. But instead of actually giving criticism they were outright disrespectful, antagonizing, rude, and hateful. While some were just being trolls, a few actually outright cussed the OP and his work, calling it degrading words and trying to yank his chain. Criticism: The analysis and judgment of the faults and merits of a literary or artistic work. If their excuse is criticism, it's an excuse, and a false one. We are an enjoyable community, we are not some popularity club who beats up and kicks out those we do not like, we just ignore them. Sometimes we try and help them, but this community was not made to make people feel like shit. The reason why I make this report is because one individual didn't feel the need to stop. The member went to other roleplays this individual created and judged him, negatively questioned him to make him feel bad, outright put his works and thoughts down. If you have an opinion of someones works, you don't disrespect them and trash them because they are unrealistic. 90% if not all roleplays on this forum are unrealistic, but that doesn't matter; because we have fun. Victim: UltikanaRe Offender: rextremendum Evidence Thread Example 1 Thread Example 2 Post Example 1a Post Example 1b Post Example 1c Continuation of harassment This isn't harmless questioning. I and many others have been victim to this. This is negative judgement, not opinions or concern. They act harmless to go under the moderations radar just to belittle the entire idea. This user has broken Rules 1 and 2, and definitely has not used common sense or good judgement. There are few rules, but that's because we all should know better. We have no excuses for when we break these rules. If there were hundreds of rules, one being loitering, that would be understandable as no one wants to go through dozens and dozens of rules. But the bottom line being common sense and good judgement, this user had no thought nor care to the standing rules. It is not my place to speak on the victims behalf, but we've all been there, thinking if we speak out against someone who might be popular we might be bashed. I just don't care, and no one should stand for this kind of behavior.
Wong, would Praeth become allied with Neveras? Neveras wouldn't be one of the spirits that banished him as he was partially an outcast himself. If you're unsure you could always try to speak with him, see his plans. Probably be better than being on the enemy team. He has always shown to be an open minded spirit, back when he was around when Praeth was, and still now.
When it started we were as active as ants in an anthill, now we're taking half days?
Wong, I'm not a mod or GM, I was just stating my opinion. Get with Goy before you do it
Ah then I guess Praeth will have small power output and just tons o' skill
With your characters abilities, I don't see it as over powered without fatigue. He is a god, and we are all practically gods. You could get them, or they could get you.
Meanwhile, in character, Neveras wants to start a fight with Shoshar already xD
Neveras has conflicted personalities all fighting at once -- he could be considered legally insane.
Praeth is weak, not quite as weak as an upstart, but comparatively, he is physically incapable of head-on brute force. Rather, Praeth's specialty is in the diversity of his fighting styles, the variety of weapons he can use, and the redirection of one's power. Generally speaking, the more an ancient relies on pure power, the stronger Praeth is. His main shortcoming is the fact that his skills lose prowess and precision as his fatigue grows, naturally finesse is trumped by exhaustion. Thus, Praeth has a poor affinity for multiple consecutive battles, long-lasting fights of pace, and any fight taking place after a tiring physical excursion. Edit: I think I'm going to add that to the CS to clarify, unless that changes the boolean of my character's approval.
You're a god. You shouldn't be affected by exhaustion unless by a specific reason
I honestly think Praeth should be an upstart since he has little to no power against Ancients, although if such a thing would be allowed, Neveras would share some of the power he gains from his Mortal followers with Praeth, but only enough so he could have the ability to fight back another spirit that engages him, not enough to mortally wound or batter. But Neveras might find an ally in him either way
