Weighing in at 19.6 stone (or 275 pounds) Betty Lee is definitely on the larger side. She’s a big girl, with a wide frame, and overly-pronounced stomach. Bethany has short red hair, a septum piercing, and a tattoo on her left thigh which reads
“I break away from all conventions that do not lead to my earthly success and happiness.”
She wears a silver crucifix on a pendant around her neck, and a pinky ring which bears the signet of raven’s skull. Bethany has large brown eyes, the colour of chocolate, and full pink lips.
Personality:
Bethany seems to have a chipper, easy-going personality, and usually comes off as playful and lighthearted. She appears to be upbeat and friendly, at least on the surface. In reality, Betty Lee is cold and heartless; projecting an aura of cordiality, whilst caring only for her own gains and ambitions.
Her sense of humour ranges from light teasing to horribly dark and twisted character assassination, sometimes with little build up in between. Betty Lee often displays instability in her mood, with occasional bouts of anger and depression that seem to last far longer than one would expect; often been triggered by events that others would consider to be only minor inconveniences. At the same time, Betty Lee will sometimes shrug off major hardships as if they were nothing, and simply continue on with her day. Bethany tends to have trouble reading other people and the emotions they exhibit, but whether this is because of a genuine misunderstanding, or simple callous lack of caring is difficult to decipher.
The young woman is cruel and selfish, having learnt to indulge her darker side more and more in recent years. Betty Lee’s deterioration into sadism and depravity seemed almost to reflect the decline of Geurchville herself, with Bethany displaying more notably wicked behaviour as the years ticked by. In reality, Betty Lee has always had a black heart. She just hasn’t had the opportunity to indulge it until now.
Bio:
Betty Lee was born to Clayton and Abigail Lee, in the rural village of Michoud, New Orleans. Clayton was a security guard for Tidewater Petroleum, and Abigail worked as a waitress at a small cafe. Whilst they were by no means the worst off family in the neighbourhood, the Lee’s struggled to make ends meet. Things only got worse as the years went by, and Betty’s parents began to see her as more of a liability than a blessing.
The young woman had a troubled upbring, often butting heads with the other children at school, and constantly found herself ending up in trouble. She had one true friend throughout her childhood; a misfit girl called Gracie Fontaine. Gracie and Betty were inseparable, but also brought out the worst in each other, and the pair only seemed to get into more and more trouble with each passing day.
Gracie was obsessed with occultism, and Betty played along, more to rebel than anything else. The pair quickly became ostracised from the community, which caused them both to retreat further and further into their depraved behaviour. When the Bloody Moons rolled into New Orleans, Gracie became hooked on the heroin they were pushing, and the two best friends got pulled into a world of drugs and guns.
When Gracie died of an overdose, Betty was left heartbroken and alone. She fell in with the Bloody Moons to fill the hole that Gracie had left, and eventually started dating Caden Laurent; the second-in-command of the Bloody Moons.
The Bloody Moons headed to Geurchville, and Betty Lee came with them, leaving her life in New Orleans behind.
