i prefer to RP casual but if you write more than a screenful at a time i probably can't keep up with you.
i work monday tuesday wednesday and saturday, play DnD on fridays and sometimes i'm just not around. if i’m afk for several days, i’m probably just working or depressed and you can always reach me by dm. i’ll pretty reliably check the site every night even if i don’t post anything.

Honestly there's a Post-Apocalyptic High School RP in Free right now that specifically says cannibalism is allowed in the RP rules, so, I'm thrilled to see rules against being nasty.
Anyway I'm going to start a CS. @Dealdric Could you give me an idea of how alteration magic works? From reading it seems that illusion magic in this RP is perhaps more akin to/reliant on telepathy, because it's used to influence the mind rather than to affect the outside world in any way. In Elder Scrolls (the only series I care about as far as magical lore goes), alteration and illusion are something of a duality; illusion is not bound to the laws of nature but alteration is, illusion magic only affects the caster and/or their enemy but alteration magic is tangible and thus affects everything.
Am I overthinking this? probably

I've been agonizing over my CS for like three days while very ill... got obsessively stuck on the names and finally have something I like, lol. Should be done by tonight.
I actually made two new characters for this RP, when I read the interest check I had two in mind that I've used before on my last account but, the Farrons and Beast-Bloods REALLY caught my interest!
I just have one question @Pyro V; what if my characters grew up just outside Loran, somewhere isolated with their family just within the swamp, but now live in the kingdom? Would that be okay? Also, did you have a set idea of the religions Loran declared unlawful or would it be okay if I made one up?

What did you have in mind as our starting point? The intro gives me the impression that we're criminals, which I'm always very into >:) ... also it sounds like we'll be starting in the 'center' of the land, between the Lord's land and the Lady's?
