Tamirlan was glad that the others seemingly enjoyed the company of their summoncreatures. The summoner often contemplated the existence of the summons. Were they god given mirrors of their masters? To humble and enlighten the soul? Or were they simply just convenient companions? The summoner refused to believe that last thought. He sounded too much like Roque with that course of thought.

Beside him Roque, feeling as if introductions were sufficient, spoke to the group,

"Now that you've been acquainted- its time for the first assessment." He stepped forward and pointed to each student as he called their name,

"Altea, Sai, and Jobain-" he jerked his thumb to his chest, "you're with me. The others are with Tamirlan."

The summoner smiled and explained, gesturing to the path behind them that lead to the forest,

"We will be heading out into the Degar- to regulate the number of cursed creatures that have strayed too close to the city. Please, follow us while we explain."

Both instructors turned and began to head on down the path leading out of the village. The massive Carthanach opened a yellow eye and lumbered to his paws, following Roque with heavy foot. Towns folk stepped out of their way and, after seeing them headed toward the forest, bid them all safe venture and safe return.

"Our targets are a troupe of Acalypha spiders. Beasts the size of common cattle yet not nearly as docile. Ten to fifteen of them have been spotted near our boarders. This quest has been commissioned by the townhall- the pay should be enough for your room and board for the next week."

Here Roque spoke up, just as they left the safety of the village and steered off of the main road. The trees here were blooming with flowers- soon fruits would begin to grow in their stead.

"The Acalypha used to dine on the fruits of these trees- but the past couple of months have shown a change in their appetites. Now they eat flesh. Its our jobs as craftknights to regulate the population of the creatures in the forest and end the cursed creatures."

Tamirlan cleared his throat,

"Well- not exactly obliterate. The Order is currently undertaking research into the origin of the curse. To find any method possible to reverse its affects."

They both stopped and turned toward one another. Roque rubbed his nose, one hand on a hip as he leaned on one leg, looking off past Tamirlans shoulder,

"After this lets eat at the tavern. We'll explain their sleeping quarters and the other important stuff then." A nod of approval came from Tamir, who's arms were tucked into his cloak as he crossed them infront of him.

Nearby, the trees rustled with the weight of the spiders. At the moment they were out of sight but one could clearly sense their presence and hear them. Carthanach grumbled harshly. Roque turned toward the group,

"Allow me to show you how a craftknight and their summon beast work in battle." He stepped toward Carthanach and pressed his had to his creatures side. Roque spoke to the group as he went through the motions,

"My beast and I are one. We inhale the same breath. Our hearts beat to the same rhythm. So when we fight- I feel his pain and he feels my own. We are creatures driven by rage. Anger and wrath are our weapons." Carthanachs jaw hung open, from his teeth saliva dripped down to the earth, which hissed and evaporated. The hyena monsters mouth was dripping acid.

Roque's yellow eyes took on a strange glow to them- which wouldnt have been all that odd- had Carthanachs eyes not begun to glow also. Their movements synched. As one moved the other mirrored his step. Roque unhooked his axe from his side and pointed it up to a tree- reflexively Carthanach stood on his hind legs and smacked with one huge paw at the tree. An acalypha fell out, screeching.

The craftknight sprang forth with his beast. Roque pinned down a leg with his axe, shoving a foot into the spiders face as Carthanach fell ontop of the acalypha, pinning its body with his weight. Both began to rend and hack at the spiders body. Roque, using his axe, and Carthanach using his claws and teeth. A minute had barely come to pass when Roque stepped away, his armor plastered with spider blood.

"The goal is to work with your beast not as a team- but as an extension of yourself. The same goes for your weapons. I hope you all have come prepared for the fight."

Tamirlan wiped some stray spider blood off of his cheek,

"Roque's fighting style is very much hands-on. Mine, however, is not. TARANx and I will show you how we work together."

The summoner made some fluid motions with his hands and a bright light sprang from his palms. The orb shot out and at once took on the form of robot- shaped like a man. TARANx's eye burned red, he bowed to the group,

"Goodday~" He said politely, his voice fashioned to sound like an Englishman. From a hip compartment the robot drew a rapier, which lengthened and fixed itself to his hand. Tamirlan grinned,

"TARANx, good friend, we are hunting Acalypha spiders. Demonstrating to the students and their companions here how to use their abilities."

The android nodded, bringing a hand up to rub his chin,

"I see. Then let us show them some basic thunder attacks, hm?"

"Yes that would be a good start." Came the summoners reply. They both stepped forward and looked up toward the trees. TARANx scanned the trees,

"My sensors have picked up 10 others. All agitated at their fallen comrade. Dangerous encounter rates are well above 70%, lethality of the situation is 40%."

Tamirlan was surprised,

"Oh my- those numbers are rather high."

The android shook his head,

"I analyzed for the children. For us, success rate is well above 90 percent."

Tamirlan nodded, growing serious as he noticed a spider drop from a tree and begin to approach them at a run. The summoner and his creature fell into a battle stance- at once TARANx's blade began to pulse with electricity.

"End its misery quickly, TARANx. I sense its suffering." Spoke the summoner.

The android struck out once and a belt of lightening whipped out from the blade and sliced the spider in two. He then turned to his master and bowed his head,

"Demonstration complete."

The instructors looked at the children but Roque spoke for them both,

"Our involvement here has come to an end. We're going to watch from this point on. The point is to see how you work with your creatures. Kill the rest of the spiders and then we'll head back into town."
@LovelyAnastasia I'm so worried about your prince ;A; He's going to struggle the most with his grades. Make him have verbal study lessons or learn through the tv/youtube videos (once he understands how to use these things of course). Unless you had something else in mind idk- I'm just really curious as to how you're going to have him overcome that setback :o

Like- what will you have him tell strangers when its clear he can't read? Say dyslexia or something. Its not the same but its a good excuse. (I feel like I sound like I'm telling you how to play your character- thats not what I'm trying to do here. These are just my thoughts.)
Chobach | Silas

Chobach found himself in a room not his own. He deduced from the uniform that this was, in fact, his room- because the name tag read "Silas Maddox"- the human alias he used when he dealt with humans on the Surface. These "dealings" were often his selling artwork or when he slipped to the surface to prowl the nightclubs. These were secrets of his, of course, that he kept from his family. Although he suspected his father knew and this was a major reason for the distaste between the two.

The demon ignored the gadgets on his desk- the textbooks, also, failed to garner his interest- instead he stepped out of his bedroom. As he closed the door he heard his brother, Taelor, cry out in pain. The demon took pleasure in the pain that his brothers inflicted on one another- none of them were ever really on good terms- and so he held very little affection for them. In fact, they were more like sttangers than family. And so Chobach wanted to see what his brother had done to hurt himself.

He stepped into one of the rooms- he didn't recognize its function- mainly because he had never cooked a day in his life. The same could be assumed of Taelor, who was nursing a wounded hand.

"Its only like you to hurt yourself within minutes of arriving, Taelor." He said as he leaned against one of the counters. It wouldn't be wise to show his brother that he knew what the sink was and that it could provide water to cool his wounded hand. Plus he really didn't care to help his sibling. So he tilted his head and made no move to help.

"Have you chosen your name yet? I have no idea when classes start- but it would be wise to choose a name before then." Something beyond the kitchen caught his attention and so he walked toward the living room, failing to wait for his brothers reply.

He plopped down infront of the televison and began to fiddle with the remote. Local cable in hell only ever showed torture or porn- which was what he expected to see when he turned on the tv. Instead he saw two men in a car, talking about the flight to some city he had never heard of before, to see a catfish (whatever the hell that was) that may or may not be in this city. He didn't understand.

"Pointless." He said as he changed the channel and began to watch a show called "Hells kitchen", the demons interest was piqued. Demonic cuisine explored by humans? Where humans even aware that demons ate? But instead of seeing hellish delicacies he saw a man screaming at other humans while they toiled over the strangest looking food. Chobach was confused. There was obviously nothing demonic about this show. He began to channel surf- exclaiming his confusion every now and then.
@XxLyraxX No problem Lyra, it's totally understandable. Thanks for letting us know. I'll be much more patient now that I know.
Tielham Famzhur

King Tielham closed his eyes as he listened to his sons bitch and moan about their situation. Honestly it was this kind of behavior that made him regret the mistake of giving them royal liberties. He should've sent them away when they were younger and unsure of who they were as individuals. At their twenty years they already knew the sins they wanted to rule. When a demon is aligned to their sin- who they are rarely changes after the fact.

What they said mattered little to him. The demon king snapped, his face shifting into a dreadful scaled creature with eight eyes, hellfire flaring from his hands and nostrils,

"Silence. You are all serpents- who's heads I will pin to the Gates with lances thrown by my arm- if you disobey one syllable of my orders. You leave here today not as mere leeches who have been dining on the ichor of your parents for far too long- but born anew and given the opportunity at redemption. Redem yourselves in the eye of your father. Show me that you are worthy of my love, of my respect, of the royal blood the courses black through your veins."

Disgusted with them he scrunched up his nose, as if they were shit he accidentally stepped in on the sidewalk,

"We hail from a long line of damned, fallen angels. Our ancestors are monuments of blazing glory that would pale to see their line culminate- no, reduced- to the pathetic excuses of children that I have."

His face settled back into the beautiful contours of his kingly form. However, the blue hellfire remained bright in his eyes.

"Leave at once. Bring glory upon the name Famzhur. Honor your father, your mother- the Kingdom."

He sighed and stood, leaving the room before his royal attendant could even announce the end to the meeting. Several servants rushed after him in distress, picking up the train of his cloak so it would not drag against the floor. The king disappeared farther into the palace without so much as a farewell to his children.
The schooling ideas are really funny and I'm looking forward to the shenanigans xD

As much as I love the family dynamic. @Aisling Perhaps we should send the boys off? Just so people playing as the girls have a chance to join in the fun. I'll post as the King one last time and then you can make a Setting post to describe the school and stuff.
Yeah I agree with Snarl. I don't want to know what's in the box yet either. Idk about the items though. They shouldn't get anything. They should start with nothing but the box.
Chobach | Silas

Chobach itched his collarbone as he squinted up at the ornate decor of the throne room. He wondered how many slaves died to build this room. This palace. This city. On how many bones did his father now sit? He, alongside his brothers, stood in a tomb. And the message their father attempted to convey to them sounded all the more grave.

The demon prince giggled. Oh how improper of him, to laugh while his father spoke. Quickly he pinned his mouth shut with his fingers. His repressed laughter caused his shoulders to shake. Surely the laughter would escape from his eyes as well! So these he shut tight. The insane son looked as if he were crying and attempting to stop the tears- when really..

Through his efforts he failed to hear much. He heard "net"- butterfly net? Volleyball net. No, no his fathers sport was hunting. Funny, how the deaths of living creatures are justified by exercise- all for a show of prowess. Chobach was aware that the point and meaning of the speech was slipping from him. He dropped his hands from his mouth and bit his tongue to stop the laughter. His teeth simply bore holes there.

His father spoke of rules and regulations concerning their education- but Chobach was much too concerned with the word "wrath" that the king had just mentioned. That felt right. Like a puzzle piece locking in place. Suddenly the prince calmed down and a cold expression held on his face. His body stopped convulsing with repressed laughter.

And so, finally, he could listen- but it was only in time to hear their father dismiss them. His lips pressed together in a thin line, which only relaxed when his mother began to speak.

Boxes! Oh how he loved gifts. What could be inside? Something dangerous, no doubt. Or something ironic. Once their mother dismissed them he bowed his head and made his way toward a box which he believed to be his. The swirls on its surface resonated with him. He was so tempted to open it. Why must they wait? His impatience would be his downfall. This he knew well. To the nearest servant he snapped his fingers,

"Take this to the human world for me." The servant hesitated before bowing an apology, explaining that it was against his orders to obey the prince any longer. Chobach bristled, cheeks aflame with embarrassment, he bore his sharp fangs at him,

"Out of my sight, then." Before tucking the box under one arm and shooing the servant away with a hand. At this the servant bowed low before retreating into the palace.
Omg no don't be vague with Romans dream at all. There has to be a unicorn and he has to act like a prince- but near the very end of the dream the unicorn screams and runs away- leaving Roman and Dela. He turns slowly towards her and then when he faces her- its in his true demon form. All feathers and horns and his eyes are black af.

And then Dela goes: omg a monster- you're actually a demon!
And then Roman just goes: That's a rude accusation, Red.

@Savi or not idk xD
Ohh :o they're all lovely.
