Alister ran into the building scared that he had been late not knowing anything was going on. He darted through the doors and tripped falling to the ground with a tumble due to his very clumsy nature. The young man had slept in and forgot all about his first day at the academy this year . 

Alister sat there on the ground fumbling around trying to collect his books and his glasses. Due to the loss of his glasses everything was now much harder to see very blurred he was scared he looked like a complete moron. 

He was able to find his books but distraught over the loss of his glasses he sat up staring at the floor. "Seriously" he muttered in anger "first day of the year and I have already made a fool of myself".

Classification: mental manipulator

Ability: with direct eye contact Alister holds the ability to slowly influence the mind of another. 

Effect 1:(purple eye color) when changing an emotion jw has to obtain direct eye contact and keep it locked to about 20 minutes making it slightly hard to actually do but if he can hold a conversation long enough even the happiest person could become morbidly depressed or vise versa

Effect 2:(blue eye color) when trying to gain control and read someone's personality and inner most thought it can take up to 2 hour to gain full information maiking it even harder to manage than simply manipulating an emotion but once completed Alister can know everything there is to know about another person including strengths and weaknesses and anything other information stored inside their brain

Edit:effect 3: (red eye color) [forbidden/unrefined] allows Alister to use both his powers to learn about/control 1 or more people almost instintaniously. 

Strengths: able to manipulate someone's emotions 

Weaknesses: must have direct eye contact, bright lights and high pitches disrupt transmission

Preexisting conditions: ADHD and HFA

Appearance: Alister is short and pale white roughly around 5' tall. His hair is short and choppy matching his slightly sluggish demeanor. His eyes are purple or sometimes blue depending on the situation. 

As for his body Alister is of a very small slender build not made for any sort of fighting most of his power actually rests in his state of mind. He wears long dark clothes that cover all of his body including  gloves and sometimes a small scarf like mask to cover his hands and mouth. As for his torso. His arms, if they we're ever seen, you would notice that they are covered in very unique tribal tattoos. 

Personality: Alister is a very quiet and self kept guy. He prefers to be alone as to not have to worry about others. His anger is very easily manipulated and it causes him more trouble than good. 

When people become his friends he tends to become very close and than the other side of his personality comes out. When he is happy he is a very nice calm kept together person who can actually be fun to be around,  but it's his own self esteem that keeps him from opening up to others. 

History: Alister was born in a small discreet town that really had nothing interesting happen. At a very young age his parents seemed a bit confused by his actions. At 5 his eyes started changing color depending on the conversation and by age 7 this change started to actually have an effect. By age 10 Alister was actively using this ability to influence others around him.

His parents became wary of this fact and started to look into what we going on. One day a group of government men came to his house to ask him questions. They asked things like his name and age at first but than the questions got weird. They started asking things about "mutants" and "metahumans". Alister at first had no idea what any of them we're talking about but than he realized and showed them his changing eyes. From there they told him of a school where people like him would be safe from others who might be able to hurt him. Alister of course was ready to go and jumped on this opportunity.
