Hey there, welcome to my page! I sort of leave and come back every so often, so if you're seeing this chances are I'm around. I look forward to roleplaying with you.

A bit about me:
- 22 year old College Student w/ a part time job.
- I love video games with a burning passion.
- I've been roleplaying on and off consistently throughout the years, so I'm no stranger to it.

That's probably my fault, I think I used not having character specific powers as a way to emphasize how they're basically just a skin of a character and not the character.
Eyyy I was right, most people would be running around with that generation of game avatars. As for mine, if I find a model I'll like, I'll probably tweak some of the colors a tad so that way it's a bit more unique to me.
Given the timeframe, they may not be as recognized as we are able to as this is set in the future. In this instance, Jack would be a character initially released roughly 65 years before this RP takes place, as Mass Effect 2 came out in 2010 and this is set in 2075. I'd assume in that jump into the future, tons of new games would be more appealing to use their avatars, so by choosing stuff we recognize now, it may be more unique as they're older game characters.
But the way I saw it, is that there could be plenty of people with that avatar, but it's like Gmod you know? Even though you could be playing with a distinguished character model, it's still you in the end. I assume the avatar is just the appearance, and even if you used an avatar of someone like Jack, you wouldn't have, say, her powers.
I think by 3D picture they simply mean finding a picture that shows a 3D model of what your character will be? For instance, as an example if I wanted to use a character from Rainbow Six Siege, I'd need to find a picture of their model in-game instead of using something like fanart or portraits. At least, that's how I interpreted it, and I could be wrong.
3D models, what a twist! But it’s a welcome one, and I already have several in mind just for this occasion.
It sounds interesting, I'll definitely give ya that. Who wouldn't love some virtual competition while avoiding getting arrested irl? On a serious note, the possibilities are pretty endless.
Another problem I've thought about with Russell's folding is that he is pretty much dead. Anyone coming to help him may just think he died, and either carry him home thinking he's a body, leave him behind and thus he'll have to fight and struggle to get home alone, or the worst case, "Damn, Russell is dead. Let's bury him here." And just buries him before he can "unfold".

I think a good way to prevent his team from abandoning him if he folds is if he tells us about his semblance and how it works, maybe demonstrate it? And if I read Russell's semblance correctly, we COULD theoretically shoot or hit a non-vital area to see if it'll do anything, since it increases his body's durability as a way to test if he's folding or dead. I mean it would probably hurt like hell when he unfolded, but as you put it, better to be alive and in pain.

I considered that too! It was would have made for some funny character interactions.

I think I fixed the links, I realized that as soon as I posted the app but I hope it works now. And yeah, his semblance is definitely a gamble of "Can I turn this bad situation around before I get hit and knocked out?"
I think I did this right? I think he's a decent character, though if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears!
Ah, a commission would be awesome for this, and a healer-esque character too! Can’t wait to see what everyone is making, I always wait until the first apps start coming until I post mine.
