Current I am Klomster, i have no status.

Bio

Known primarily as Klomster, both on the net and on real life.

I really enjoy roleplaying and do so every weak, preferably twice in two different campaigns. Sometimes even more.

From time to time i've done some forum roleplaying with mixed success. I've tried GM-ing with even more mixed success and all in all, i find forum rp's enjoyable. Hence why i joined, hoping to play some forum rp's and OWN at it. (Or something.)

I have an erratic thought pattern so my posts can appear as incoherent, if you notice you can just mention it if i should clarify anything.
Other than that, hey there fellas.

Yes, however the Steel Fist have had rather little to do with the story so far. [/sarcasm and lying my teeth out]
Killed the rp? Nah, where we are going, death would be preferable.
And with that we shall start THE BATTLE OF TELMARION

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!

Also, it seems someone is interested in joining as a character in the Steel Fist.
We'll have to figure out where that character fits in, but that will probably work out fine.
Seems like most of the tier 3's have gone with missiles and railguns with an exotic weapon or two in the mix to spice it up.

As for OP weapons, i'd say as long as a weapon has a great build-up, people are fine with it and the weapon is grounded in lore. It can be pretty damn powerful.
Sure, the beam weapons on my ship is damn powerful, probably able to cripple a t3 cruiser with just a shot or two. But then again i'm at the max tech level.
So very powerful weapons are expected.

However, i won't be going around zapping planets with said beam weapons. That's just silly.
Since the destruction of some things are dramatic events. The destruction of a battleship, a planet, a star, a sector. Those things require some hefty cool things before i'd allow it if i were a GM.

Sure, a battleship would be easier to kill off than a star. So if i was the GM i'd let that fly with less of a dramatic build-up.

But i'm gonna confess, if a t5 civ attacked my character. Even if their coolest battleship is worse than the t3 cruisers. I'd give it a somewhat fair fight even if i brought in my character against it.
Since a battleship is such an iconic thing for a navy, especially if it's a flagship.

In such a case, i would forego logic and focus on drama. After all, it's no fun if the cool thing you brought get one-shotted in the initial volley.
But that's just how i roll in rp's.
Others will think differently. And act differently.
Well, i wonder how long it takes to suffocate a space marine.
@Jbcool I'm basically a slightly better human with a light flak armour and a hellpistol in here.
How am i supposed to take on space marines?

The hellpistol won't even be in funky mode in here.

-“I would advise that everyone hold onto something!” The voice of Vedius snapped Zuriel out of his pondering of who to give the serums and he recognized the klaxon for incoming fire.

Instinctively he latched on a roof support beam with his mechandrite arm which gave him a rock solid stance and readied himself for the impact.

The ship shook and while some who didn't manage to grab on in time or didn't bother was flung to the floor, Zuriel barely moved an inch.
The situation was getting more and more chaotic, suitable considering most of the present.
After Vedius suggested they board an enemy vessel he knew everyone on this ship was crazy apart from him.

While the situation around him kept going out of control, Zuriel spotted a holding apparatus that had been severely damaged from the attack.
Inside was a single odd gem, shining with a sort of unnatural alien gleam, reminding him of a picture of a galaxy, Zuriel couldn't help himself so he simply pocketed it.
He had a plan with this one.

-“Prepare for a boarding action, or prepare to die.” Vedius voice boomed out once more, Zuriel simply raised his puny hellpistol and looked around him skeptically to see if any of the others followed suit.
So, should i do a post before the battle or take everything in the battle post?
@Sophrus .75 actually.

@Jbcool I'm honestly surprised you let the red corsair get 2 extra marines.
I thought they were like chaos humie goons that were all gonna die. That 3 marines got through the door gives him a huge advantage since he has an established power base where he is the leader while even if all the others gang up, there is no clear leader and they might fail anyway.
But i digress, i say this fight needs some event which halts the fighting all together.

Also JB, i'd say you should keep GM'ing. This is your story and no one should try to take over it. Unless it has severe problems or massive lore faults which it doesn't.
So i say i want to see where this story is heading.
I give an AY for JB to continue GM'ing.

Also, people, you got Zuriels alignment all wrong.
He's aligned with himself. If he could he would take over this joint and make all of ya his underlings.
Either to mechano-slavery, warp magic or good old manipulation.

Although i'm a bit out of my water here so it's only wise to stay back.

I myself want to see Xepherial and Lucious develop a cool backstory and deep character.
However, Zuriel couldn't care less.
R.I.P. Ga'duk.
A great inspiration to us all, stronk fighter and a master archivist of the events of the horse heresy.

He will be missed.
