I really enjoy roleplaying and do so every weak, preferably twice in two different campaigns. Sometimes even more.
From time to time i've done some forum roleplaying with mixed success. I've tried GM-ing with even more mixed success and all in all, i find forum rp's enjoyable. Hence why i joined, hoping to play some forum rp's and OWN at it. (Or something.)
I have an erratic thought pattern so my posts can appear as incoherent, if you notice you can just mention it if i should clarify anything. Other than that, hey there fellas.
Appearance: It resembles a shining steel mechanical skeleton of a humanoid with a single shining blue eye, it has a maw that seems constantly open and its resting position seems to be a sort of messias stance with its arms outstretched down on its sides showing its palms. Instead of legs it has a disk that is made from wheels within wheels which constantly revolve and move with mechanical motion. Ice-cold blue mist forms beneath it partially hiding its form.
Size: Precisely 100 metres tall.(328 feet)
It Came From: The north sea, the first sighting was near iceland as it came in from the sea, freezing everything in its path and beached on the northern part of the island.
Abilities: Cyclopian hovers ominously and impossibly above the ground, the bright mist is deathly cold and freezes all in its path. Its single eye is capable of emitting a violent continuous beam of bright blue energy, it dances across whatever it looks at and can destroy buildings with ease. With concentration it can form an energy field which covers an 100 degree disc in front of it, it is impenetrable to all known weapons.
Cyclopean can phase shift, dimension travel or some sort of gate faring. The practical effect is teleportation. With some preparation, Cyclopean can focus all his energy and teleport. The maximum distance is unknown but reports seem to limit its range to thousands of kilometers. This drains Cyclopean in some way and the teleportation cannot be used more than a day without risking itself.
The most terrifying ability it has though is to create miniscule versions of itself to serve it. Resembling 10 metre tall steel angels, they lack the disc of its creator featuring 2 or 4 legs, on their backs are fluttering wings resembling a mix between butterfly and feather wings made from steel. They often wield some sort of weapon, often some sort of polearm. Both their eyes and the weapons can fire a similar style beam like their creator but with less force and the deathly cold mist follow them as well, but they need to stay still in a place to really freeze their position unlike Cyclopean. These small Cyclopii are fast, hit hard and are hard to hit, but mundane weapons have shown effectiveness against them.
Weaknesses: Cyclopean at a glance has no weakness. But in truth it is because none have managed to exploit it yet. The metal form of Cyclopean is stronger than Titanium, but it cannot heal naturally and has less supernatural resilience than some of the other Kaiju. The forcefield can only protect in a 100 degree arc, it is thus weak from attacks from multiple positions. Compared to other Kaiju, it is slow. Only travelling a measly 30km/h usually, with a top speed of 100km/h. While that is frighteningly fast for such a massive machine, human vehicles and other Kaiju can easily outpace it with their vehicles. Cyclopean has some deep innate connection to decimal numbers. What that is remains to be seen.
History: It could first be seen from the coast, it seemed like a massive idol of religion. Perverted to be some sort of strange machine god. Kaiju were no secret the first time this emerged. Frantic messages and news had reached all over when it was first seen and the Icelandic government sent in all its jets. With an odd pose, resembling prayer followed by a circular motion of the arms and hands, it formed the barely visible screen for the first time. The missiles harmlessly detonated upon the forcefield and the jets began to retreat. The beast however had other plans, with a outstretched right palm, it boomed a robotic white noise and in its rotating discs, a hundred doors opened and from them emerged the Cyclopii. They flew into a mechanically perfect formation, before fanning out towards the entire coast. Some hounded the jets, dogfighting with almost the same speed, but with much more agility. Every jet was cut with either strange polearms or energy beams. The ground forces never had time to mobilize, the scattered resistance did destroy many Cyclopii, but Cyclopean paid it no heed and pressed on. The country has been devastated by this monstrous beast. People fear the worst as all outgoing communication has gone silent. It is believed to be moving east following the destruction of Iceland.
Name: Krister Jonsson
Appearance: An average looking bloke, he has a short dark beard and short trimmed hair. He is tall at 1.83 (~6') and is sturdily built. Picture of Krister as he is travelling on a norwegian fishing boat in a mock "improvised attack method". steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/93…
Age: 24.
Occupation: Being a soldier by profession, he works as a support gunner and usually tots around a heavy machine gun, which he is uncannily accurate with. He is also intelligent and work extra in the motor pool and at the quartermaster fixing stuff.
Starting Location: Krister Jonsson is in Norway, near Bodö in a military base. He is currently with his unit having mock battles with people from nordic battlegroup for mountain training.
History: Krister Jonsson is from Sweden, Umeå to be precise. He had a remarkably uneventful upbringing and has a university degree in engineering. He went into the military since he felt he needed the structure in his life and received it as he was accepted into the nordic battlegroup.
Being a generally nice guy, albeit a bit brutish in his ways at times. People have described him as being an unpolished diamond. Hard as nails but rough. Potentially beautiful but needs some work.
His current goal is simply to help people, being part of a peacekeeping force is something he feels is right and tries his best to be a good guy. There are many places that need help and he and his unit is there to help. Not to mention how much shit everything went when Kaiju began to attack all over.
I saw the part of people wanting small demi-kaiju to fight, this monster will help with that nicely ;)
Also my human WILL be recruited by a anti-monster organization, mostly because i envision him in one.

It's sort of a blessing and a curse. Discord gives a good overview of who is online, one can easily PM and even voice-chat with people. Downside is that the OOC seems dead, therefore the thread seems dead and few new players feel any need to join.
The following night Claus was sitting in his command tent in complete silence, he had lit the scented candle given to him by Dyril and the purple candle shone a deep yellow steady sheen, filling the straight walled tent filled with officers junk like maps, boxes and chests with a deep but pleasant lavender scent. He was slouched back in his chair so much it seemed a wonder he was still in it, lazily pushing a ink bottle around while having a deeply troubled look on his face. The ink bottle was throwing a shadow over his face as he moved it along, without any obvious reason he quickly sat up, took the candle and put it right under his nose, letting the hot air fill his nose with his deep inhale. A strong flowery scent filled his senses completely and the heat really helped his tension in his forehead, which had sprung a headache which had lasted for hours.
He sat there sniffing for a while, thinking of how it had started. Alenius must think of him as a lunatic fool, he knew he had nightmares from time to time. But they'd never been a problem before, never so strong either, never so real. The heat of the candle reminded him of the flames, he quickly put it away almost putting it out by the speed. She had just sat there as he told her he didn't know what happened, a clear lie since he knew perfectly and he was sure she saw right through that. He had simply ignored her, gathered his things and opened the door only to find worried tenants had gathered outside their room to figure out what was going on. He guessed he appeared as a panicked animal as he ignored their honest worries and left them to Alenius as he stormed past them and out. The looks in their eyes had made him feel shame and insecurity.
He did not feel good, not in the slightest. It was dark out and normally he'd have gone to bed to get some extra sleep but not tonight. He dared not sleep. One of the few times in his life he remembered being struck with actual fear. But he remembered those deep red unblinking eyes... he shuddered. It was so blissful the time that Dyril had spent with him following that horrible morning. No worries, just reminiscing about better times and practicing some well needed accuracy training. For both of them. In truth he wasn't the best shot around. After she left he had eaten the youtai with an initial excitement but after a few bites he had lost his appetite. The delicious bread not able to distract him from his haunting thoughts. That was yesterday, he had wasted all day in the tent. Not wanting to waste the fine gifts he poured some wine and brought forth the bread again, forcing himself to eat and drink. The tastes were great, but he did not enjoy it. It reminded him of the Beilokias, the odd clouds rolling over the mountains, the fungi forests with the gloomhawks circling above. It reminded him of the battle of hymns. With an increase in heart rate he froze all movements, his hand slightly shaking and the wine was forming circles from the movements. He stared intensely at nothing being caught in his memories of the fateful battle. The confusion, the panic, the anguish and screams all coming back. Not to forget the red eyes... those dark spectres with red unblinking eyes. Claus realised his frozen state and with shaking hands shugged the mug of wine and put it aside, now realising he still had bread in his mouth he swallowed that as well.
There were noises approaching his tent, two corpsmen, Jake and one of the new guys by the sounds of them speaking of... Scassia smoked stilton? They were closing fast. Claus violently shook his face trying to get out some of the tension and smeared down on his face with his hands as well, sort of rejuvenating it. As the two entered they quickly marched up to the centre of the tent and stood at attention and salute. -"Steelhead, we're back from the job with the emperor." One of the reported. Claus stood up and trying to act normal gave a moments smile and spoke. -"So you enter my tent unannounced and speak of cheese from my home and didn't bring any? I'm disappointed." The two looked puzzled and slightly worried when Claus went on. -"At ease, you new guys are such bores. Now what gives, there's a reason you felt like you needed to come here." He slouched back into his chair and met their eyes. Jake answered him. -"Uh yes sir, we were at a test of some sort with the emperor visiting some alchemist and he had some really interesting stuff." Claus could see the gleeful engineer inside of his trooper so this was surely something interesting. -"Yes? What?" -"Blasting powder! Non magical!" The wide grinned Jake infected Claus with some of that excitement. Especially since all blasting powder the fist had ever used before had been magical in nature. Either needing a proper mage to use it or being ludicrously expensive for little worth, this was fascinating news. As Claus listened to the full report he saw many opportunities with such potent powder, he just hoped the prize would be worth it and of course that the good emperor would let them have it.
@Willy Vereb The reason they don't have a massive supply is that they don't produce much. And I was thinking their personality might solve that a bit.
*Bellakee arrives in system* -"Hello locals, we are here to trade. We can offer a multitude of things but our most popular is our ultra-fine Eltreum." -"Ah, we have these awesome weapons and rare ores." -"That's nice, now what do you offer for the Eltreum?" -"Errrr, we want to sell you weapons..." -"Oh, well you see weapons don't hold much value. Do you know anything of the Builders?" -"Errr, we don't think so." -"Too bad." *Leaves* *Bellakee arrives in neighbour system* -"Wassup Bellakee, we found a satellite which might have been a Builder satellite, we also want to sell you some really shitty art and poetry." -"Oh, very interesting, we will trade you [unexpectedly much Eltreum] for that." *Leaves, while the first place thinks WTF???!?!*
Sure, my dudes could sell weapons to the next nation they come across, but it'd be a hassle. Since they'd see little value in it and it takes a bunch of space.
Bellakeen are travelling merchant types who use molecular de-binders as weapons. They have heavily armoured ugly ships and are masters of refining resources. They have creepy sharp teethed skull like faces and mostly wear red robes. They have 3 clawed fingers on each hand. They venerate the Builders to a level others would consider worship. They are mostly pacifist in their approaches.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Species: The Bellakee are a people of mostly humanoid shape, but they would be described by a human as having "Scary exposed broad pointy teeth, pale skin and lidless grey eyes." The overall skull like face combined with the hunched appearance and three-fingered clawed hands upon their wiry frame often makes them mistrusted by others. The thing that sets them apart from being a true humanoid is the fact they have a smaller set of arms beneath the first, but this set is seldom used and often under the clothes. Bellakeen live to a maximum of 250 earth years, 180 being the usual time of death.
The common clothing utilized by most of the Bellakeen is a robe covering their form with a hood that covers their heads but not their face. Often in dark red, but other colours do show up. Higher ranking Bellakeen decorate the trims and wear jewelry of precious metals, preferring silvery ones over golden. The most impressive carry Eltreum infused platinum, seen as the most valuable metal in the society.
Planets owned: Akee, meaning soil, also the namesake of their people which translates to 'Of the soil' or similar, it is a dark planet because of its distance from its blue sun and its many moons, resulting in many solar eclipses. The atmosphere is mostly similar to earth atmosphere, but a human would develop breathing problems over extended periods of time (ie, decades) because of the lower concentration of oxygen and a slight variation in the gasses.
The Bellakee only own their own planet, but close to it is a massive gate (Aspyr 1, A001) obviously made by the Builders long ago. Akee also held a multitude of Builder artifacts and ruins which has led the Bellakee to where they are today. While some of them are fully functional, they are far too revered to be used again or simply don't work. Either because of misuse or lack of maintenance.
Government: Bellakee is led by a council, chosen based on merit. Making it a meritocratic oligarchy.
Mysteries: Very few know anything of Akee, since the Bellakeen don't speak of their home when away and choose to present it as a mystery. The amount of people living there is unknown but overall speculations suggest the Bellakee population is small.
Territory Overview: Apart from the massive A001, the Bellakee has an extensive mining outpost in their home system, the mine is interesting since it has an unusually high level of Eltreum in it, because of its presence to a hyperspace phenomena. However the output of Eltreum isn't higher than one would expect because of the strange dangers this poses.
A001 is massive, thus it also provides an unusually big area of hyperfield. The usefulness of this is questionable but it is a fact. Aspyr 1 also has a special hyperspace vent/ fold-space node/ hyperspace valve. No one really knows, the Bellakee have the most understanding of it and even they are at a loss of its proper utilization and properties. What it allows is a sealed environment where one can expose materials to hyperspace. In theory this results in an infinite amount of Eltreum, in practise it results in a violently dangerous research field which claim researchers on a regular basis. With a supremely varied set of results. Yes, Eltreum infused materials has been produced. Yes, a broad understanding of hyperspace has been reached. But the problems are multiple and often the tests are non reproducible and one off events. Often hyperspace inversions occur, annihilating the research team present, all their materials and set off distortions in the whole system. But the chamber is intact, shielded from all this by the Builders.
History: The Bellakee has oddly enough always been unified, in all their trials they think the same and act similarly. This had led many to believe they are telepathic, this is untrue. Individuality is however a different thing for them. Individuality simply referring to the body of the person, Bellakee usually refer to themselves as 'Us'. Something that makes them unmistakably alien to other civilizations.
Akee however was a hotspot of the Builders. No one knows what it was, some claim it was their homeworld, others an important research facility. But the fact is that a large amount of Builder houses remained upon its surface, something the Bellakee has utilized for millenia. Oddly enough the Bellakee use several symbols of the Builders alphabet in their own, mimic their style of architecture and revere them as their forefathers.
The Bellakee would never admit it, but practically speaking, they worship the Builders. Having shielded them from the elements when they were young, to the day when they managed to reach the fabled Aspyr 1 where they began to understand space.
The Bellakee has travelled to many many gates and probably have the best understanding of the gate network. Funnily enough though, they also have a poor sense of the galactic map, since when they arrive in a new system, the primary focus is to explore the gate itself, search for other Builder remains. Some time after that comes make a quick look for other things like planets and other species.
SOCIETY INFORMATION
Cultural Overview: They are traders and 'spiritual', they themselves do not refer to their reverence for the Builders as religious but the way they act about them makes people wonder.
Bellakee avoid confrontations if possible, borderline pacifists. Everything is best solved with a mutual agreement.
Other species: The Bellakee have a positive outlook on other species they come upon. They will happily ask about Builder findings and suggest trade. Many species know them as travelling traders and it's not uncommon for Bellakee to show up seemingly from nowhere on some new expedition. Either a trade fleet or a Builder research expedition. Because of this, they often 'Ping' the receiving end about their arrival. Both to appear non-hostile but also for them to prepare for their arrival. Either with interesting information or precious materials or interesting curiosities of which they can trade.
TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION
Tech Overview: The overall technology level of the Bellakee is high, they have done well in their attempts to reverse engineer Builder technology and while they cannot claim such a high level of understanding, technology is widely understood and employed. What it however isn't is pretty. Bellakee tech looks dark and grimy, covered in greasy oil and their ships and homes are dark. Mostly since their eyes are sensitive to light. So while they illuminate all their corridors, a human would think it's kinda gloomy everywhere on a Bellakeen ship.
Their understanding of hyperspace is widespread, but not really deep. What they excel the most in is Eltreum infusion. They have made its purification into an artform.
Notable Technologies Eltreum infusion chamber It cannot be trusted, it is volatile, they don't fully understand it, the results are non-binary, they cannot make more chambers without understanding Builder architecture and technology.... But they have it, and it works.
Molecular de-binders A technology based upon the concepts of hyperspace inversion, it utilizes a bunch of complex ideas and mathematics into a simple to use device. Molecular de-binders project a beam of... de-binding, which makes matter fall apart into a slurry. Hand-held versions can have beams no wider than a pen, while ship-grade heavy de-binders can have a beam as broad as a foot. They take a lot of energy to operate and compared to proper weapons they have a short range.
But they are very potent. Able to work their way through matter at a high rate, their weakness is some forms of shielding. If it is a particle shield it might just disassemble it as well. But energy shields (not to mention the energy fields which holds the particles in particle shields in place) can have odd effects upon the beam. Usually the beam drains the power supply of the shield at a dramatically higher rate than conventional weapons, but depending on the shielding it can also be useless or stop the beam completely.
Micro-fusion The Bellakee are good at miniaturizing fusion plants, able to make them as small as an apple. This is very useful in all sorts of ways. It primarily provides the function of hand-held de-binders and free public electricity. Bellakee ships therefore don't have a central fusion core to power their ships, but instead a large amount of semi-portable reactors in their ships. Roughly the size of a household refrigerator.
Eltreum refining... or just general refining The Bellakee excel at refining all manner of things. Ores, produce, eltreum you name it. However if you want them to make a meal for you, be sure to tell them your cultural preference in food. Since not all prefer nutri-slurry.
Industrial Overview: Bellakee mining is slow but thorough, nothing goes to waste. It also appears filthy compared to others industry, their locales often grimey, black and dirty. Overall the industry isn't large compared to a capitalist society. Mostly since money isn't something the Bellakee use, instead focusing on pure trade. For their own people everything is provided by the state.
MILITARY INFORMATION
Military Overview: The military is poor... really poor. It's not that it's not funded, it's mostly a foreign concept to the Bellakee. Sure a Bellakee fights if need be, but they avoid it if they can. Bellakee military grade doesn't exist, instead they build everything to last. Molecular de-binders also work wonders on both cutting loose chunks of asteroids and chunks of hostile vessels.
Army Overview: Non existent. If the need arises a bunch of people will bring hand-held de-binders and shoot hostiles. But otherwise this isn't something employed.
Navy Overview: Bellakee ships are sturdy, have a lot of power and have very thick hulls. But it's only a super heavy trade fleet. Every ship usually mounts a single super heavy ventral de-binder with a fully rotatable arm mounting, allowing for a 180* degree arc. The ship tilts if need be to allow it to face the theoretical foe.
The roughly bug-like ships are not pretty, but faster than expected and can take far more punishment than some military vessels. But to call them warships is wrong.
