After an exhausting night at work, Amaya crashed hard. There had been a few snags, but otherwise work went smoothly. However, now she was currently at her desk in her dorm room working on an essay due as part of her final in biology. A steaming mug of green tea was perched just to the top right of her sleek silver laptop. Amaya wasn't a big fan of breakfast, despite knowing how important it is, but she was planning on a trip to the gym later which required some energy derived from breakfast. Which is why a mostly eaten bagel sat on a plate to her left. Listening to some instrumental musical to help her focus, the blond tapped away silently in her quiet room. Unfortunately, nothing good ever lasts for long.

"AHHHHHH!" A screech filled the dorm room, managing to pierce through the headphones that Amaya had been wearing. She jumped, startled before whipping around to see her room mate, Rachel, leap out of the bed she had been sleeping on to grab her purse at the foot of the bed. "Is it still there, please tell me it's still there." The brunette whined, rummaging through her disorganized purse. "Thank the lord! It's still there?" She sighed.

"Mind sharing with the class what's going on?"The startled girl giggled.

"I had a dream where I spent all my money on a trip to the mall and it was horrible! I didn't even buy cute clothes!" Rachel complained, flopping back onto her bed. "What time is it?"

"10:05" Amaya replied, turning back to her laptop. She only had 150 more words to go to fulfil the requirement, but something told her that she might end up having more problems staying within the maximum rather than achieving the minimum. The only response her room mate gave was a dejected groan. "Listen, you can explain to the neighbours what that loud noise was, I'm going to the gym for a bit. Then I have to go shopping for holiday gifts. I'll see you tonight,"

The brown eyed girl gathered her gym clothes, wallet, purse, phone, and laptop just in case she decided to work on her essay in the park or somewhere on campus. After exiting the building she walked to the gym. It wasn't too far away, but then again there were many places Amaya wasn't willing to walk to. She preferred spending her money on other things other than transport. Besides if anything sketchy came up, she was confident she could take care of herself. Once arriving, she checked in through the front desk, flashing her membership ID to the person on duty. "Is Devin here?" She asked.

"If he's here, he's probably working out around the treadmills. Pretty sure he's getting ready for a marathon or something." The receptionist explained. With a word of gratitude and a wave, Amaya headed into the locker room to change into her clothes. When she came out, she went in search of Devin. She found the Egyptian male right where she'd been informed.

"Hey Devin! Do you mind spotting me?" The slightly shivering girl asked. The air inside the building was cold because of winter and the fact that no one seemed to be at the gym.

"Sure," He huffed, getting off the treadmill. "So how have you been? Found any potential guys since you broke up with that asshole?" Devin asked cheerfully. He was pretty blunt about things, but was so happy all the time that he made it seem like it wasn't all that bad. About four months ago, Amaya had broken up with her abusive boyfriend. It had been pretty bad, but she has pretty much recovered since then. Except for a few scars that are still on her body.

"It's been forever since that happened, I'm fine, and you know it!" Amaya grinned at her friend. They both stopped at a bench press as the petite girl slid under the bar. "Also, I haven't found anyone new,"

"Hmm, what a disappointment." The dark skinned male mused. "1, 2, 3." He counted off before lifting up the bar.

"What about you? I heard you're going to be in a marathon?" Amaya asked.

"Yea, there's going to be one in a city close by. You interested?" He asked, his eyes glinting with excitement.

"Naw, I have finals to worry about and after that, I'm crashing for awhile." The friendly banter went on for awhile, and they switched positions. After an adequate amount of time, they parted ways. Amaya did a bit more exercise before changing back into her normal clothes. She gathered her things and headed towards Shine Junction to do some gift shopping. On her way there, she noticed a packed Mochavine. Apparently everyone and their mothers wanted to get some coffee for the morning. The pale girl simply laughed to herself and continued on her way.

We should have a gym in beginning post list of areas. I mentioned one in the last RP, and I know at least Amaya will be frequenting it (maybe Rosanna?)(and a shit ton of other girls once I repost Devin's CS), so if you could make it happen that'd be great.
Geez, y'all post way too fast! It'll take me a bit to get caught up and write a post.
DANG I missed a lot. On the topic of ships, Amaya just seems to go well with older guys (sorrynotsorry). Also I think that James and Molly is a 1000% yes plz. I can also see Shou and Yutaro as a really hot/attractive couple. Yas plz.

It's okay. I'll just finish the day up in a bit.
Amaya picked up the card and gave it a quick once over to make sure it wasn't a fake. They usually weren't, but sometimes the owner likes to send in someone with a fake ID to test the employees. "Alright, I bring that out in a minute. Then I'll take your order." She smiled, handing it back to the dark haired customer, their fingers brushing against each other lightly. However, Amaya didn't think much of it. Things like that happen all the time. She's learned to ignore it. Quickly, the waitress scribbled the order down and went to the back to grab the drink and heat it up. As the drink was warming up, Amaya looked over the restaurant to see one of her co-workers leading an attractive woman to a table. She had curves in all the right places. Unfortunately, Amaya wasn't gifted in that area. She didn't mind too much, but it would have been nice.

Finally the sake was warmed to a generous degree, so she grabbed it and served it to her frequently destracted customer. "Here you are, sir." Amaya said, placing it in front of her. "What can I get for you today?" Listening patiently, she wrote everything down.

Then, as she was returning to the kitchen to deliver the order a voice called out. Ummm excuse me, I'm ready to be served...umm you Kimono-Girl, can I get a salad starter and a can of Dr Pepto please? Ive been waiting here for at least 10 mins Amaya looked around to see that the attractive girl she had seen earlier was addressing her. She could sense the annoyance in her voice. A sense of dread and fear filled the waitress. When customers weren't happy, no one was happy.

"A-Ah yes, um, I get that for you as soon as possible. A salad starter and Dr. Pepto correct?" The kimono clad girl flipped the page on her notebook to jot the other order down, before scurrying off. She gave the orders to the head chef before getting a glass of Dr. Pepto to the caramel colored girl. "Here you go, ma'am. Your salad should be here in a bit." Amaya's smile was a bit strained, but she managed to do all that she could for the irritated customer. She retreated to the back to wait for the entres to be finished.
Amaya gathered a menu and silverware before leading the bespectacled male to an open seat towards the center area of the restaurant. She hadn't seen him around the academy's campus before which meant he might not be a student. Nonetheless he had a nice demeanor. The kimono clad girl put the menu and silverware down at a table meant for two.

"What would you like to drink?" She asked, raising her pen to the notebook in her hands. "We have coffee, tea, water, Pepsi products, and a variety of alcoholic beverages," Amaya listed a few drinks off the top of her head, just to provide an example. Obviously there was more on the menu, but she wanted to keep it quick and simple. Plus, she didn't want to memorize all the drinks, especially the alcoholic ones. They tended to have weird names.

Speaking of alchohol, Rachel was pestering her about her birthday already. It was at least a week and a half away! She wanted to go to Club LUSH to celebrate. Amaya wasn't a big fan of large parties. She preferred quaint ones with friends. Quality over quantity. Quickly realizing she was at work, Amaya ripped her mind from its wandering.

@BeastofDestiny
Amaya stood at front of Tiny Snowflake in her kimono. During cold weather, it was very warm, however, during the summer it had been a bit hot for her tastes. Business was slow. Not many people wanted to go out during these festive times. To the bored girl, if it's going to be cold, there should be snow. Usually, at the academy, dorms would have snow sculpture contests against among the residents. Plus, it was always a nice surprise to get caught in a snowball fight with people you don't even know because someone "accidentally" throws a snowball at you. Except for the part where your things get snowy, and if you're not careful, wet.

Lately Amaya had been working lots of hours. She needed to earn even more money to buy presents for her friends and family. Unfortunately, this means she has less time to spend with her friends. But, hopefully, the presents will make up for it. She was planning on going all out this year. The blond was going to get the perfect present, even if it cost her a small fortune (which isn't much for a college student). Let's see, she needed a present for Rachel, her roommate, Devin, a good friend... Oh! and she needed to get a present for the secret santa exchange in her book club.

She'd probably need to get presents for her professors as well. There's nothing wrong with sucking up a little, especially right before finals. The number one teacher on her gift list was Dr. Matsouka for obvious reasons. She had a few classes with him, and would in the future as well. Of course that and the fact that she got along well with him. It didn't hurt that he was attractive. Amaya tended to work hard in the classes she enjoyed, and earned very good grades, but for the classes she didn't like, well, at least she passed.

Suddenly, the waitress's attention was diverted to the sound of a small bell and gust of cold wind as the front door of the Tiny Snowflake opened. Quickly, she smiled and straighted her posture. "Welcome to the Tiny Snowflake, how many are in you're party?" She recited.
So, in the last RP I was setting up Amaya's birthday, but it never happened. So, I'm going to change it so that her birthday is sometime in the future rather then ignore the wonderful excitement that could happen on a 21st birthday.
