Izzy had stayed behind by the cars. She may not be the smartest, but she does know that she can’t fight. That’s not why she was here. She was here in case someone got hurt.

But it was boring as hell.

Given her position, Izzy couldn’t see the fight. She had to stay out of sight so that no one would even think about coming for her. All she could hear were a cacophony of weird noises that made no damn sense. It honestly just sounded like another coven meeting. Sighing, Izumi sat on the hood of the nearest car. There wasn’t even anyone passing by, so she pulled down her mask to breathe a little better and took out her phone. There were a lot of notifications. She went through the texts asking her what her plans for tonight were as well as the various social media notifications.

But then, a loud boom pierced through the sky. It was either a gunshot or a firework, but given the current circumstance and lack of cool colorful lights, it was probably a gunshot. Seriously? After a few moments, Ellie popped out of nowhere scaring the shit out of Izzy. ”Jesus!” Izzy took a second to slow her heart rate before noticing Quinn was with the teleporter. Ah, blood. Suppressing the queasiness in her stomach, Izzy fell to her knees and gave Quinn a once over. She was barely conscious with a couple bruises, a cut on her shoulder, and the gunshot to her ankle. In her unconscious state, it’d be best for Antheia to deal with it. Plus Izzy really didn’t think she could handle a gunshot.

Closing her eyes, Izzy sent an urgent call for help to the spirit of love. As pink smoke rose from Izzy, she opened her eyes and looked at Ellie. ”It’s fine. Antheia will fix her up. You should get back to the group in case something else happens.” Once Antheia fully materialized, she looked like an odd amalgamation of Izzy’s past girlfriends, but better. The spirit looked nearly human except for the pink wisps of smoke rising from her body, bright pink irises, and the fact that her hair and clothes seemed to float. Antheia grabbed Quinn’s hand and began to softly massage it. A soft pink glow came from their skin contact as Antheia’s concerned eyes looked down at the mechanic. The contact slowly healed the cuts and bruises, but the gunshot wound still remained. This time Antheia shifted to lay Quinn’s head on her lap and began to caress her cheeks, neck, and shoulders. While she did, Antheia turned to Izzy who was trying to avoid looking at the wound and blood too much. Her gaze seemed stern.

”What on earth are you girls doing?! Getting into a fight with armed people? Are you trying to die?” Sometimes Antheia felt like a mom. Not Izzy’s mom, but just that mom friend who is always overreacting. ”Listen, it wasn’t my idea. You and I both know that nothing can stop these girls when they make up their mind! Besides! I’m clearly not a part of this fight, I’m just here to play doctor and make sure no one dies!” Izzy’s volume rose at the end. God, Antheia was a huge pain in the ass sometimes. She should be praising her for doing the ‘right thing’ or whatever. Not bitching at her for something she couldn’t control.

Ellie appeared once again in the middle of their argument, luckily with no one else injured. Instead she grabbed Izzy and Quinn and teleported them to a street corner. Antheia appeared a second later. The teleportation had really knocked Izzy off balance and for a couple moments it felt like she was gonna hit the pavement. Instead, she got herself together and picked up Quinn piggyback style. While her wound was still in the process of healing, she probably wouldn’t be able to stand or walk without significant pain. Ellie was definitely in bad shape emotionally. Izzy hesitated, as she felt Antheia glaring at her. “Say something” her eyes burned. Izzy awkwardly patted Ellie’s head, healing her in the process. ”Join us when you’re ready.”

As Izzy and Quinn entered the Dairy Queen, they claimed a fairly large table. Antheia finished up treatment and other Coven members started arriving. Including Ellie. Izzy could still feel Antheia’s disappointment in her, but brushed it off. She gave Ellie a toothy grin and thumbs up as she sat down with the group.

It didn’t take long for the meeting to devolve into chaos and arguing, but then again that was the normal. Once Claudette had calmed everyone and Kayla had answered questions, it seemed like the meeting was coming to a close. Ellie suggested that Izzy come along to play support, and while she had really wanted to go to a party later tonight, Izzy knew pretty much everyone else in the coven was probably going to go. Of course, that just couldn’t stand. Izzy felt the fear of missing out hit her as everyone began their preparations. Maybe if they got done quick, she could still go? After all, the night was still young. Izzy took public transportation back to her apartment, it was her normal way of getting around. However, after looking up Greenwood Estates, it was clear she’d probably need a ride. Well, at least the two hour prep time gave her enough time to sober up. Even though she’d really rather not.

At her apartment, Izzy rummaged through her extensive closet. She needed something that didn’t make her stand out, which given her clothes, was nearly impossible. Plus she needed to take into account the fact that she might be going out after. Sighing, the red head crossed her arms and looked at all the clothes laying on her bed. Behind her, Izzy could hear her phone blowing up like crazy. It was a Saturday night after all, people wanted to have fun. Eventually she turned and grabbed her phone. Ignoring all the notifications, she pulled up a number and texted her favorite Uber driver.

you workin tonight?

unfortunately yea, my bills are due

awesome, can you come pick me up in a few?

i promise i’ll make it worth your time ;)

sure thing princess

see you in a bit

Excellent. Now that that is sorted, Izzy took another look at her clothes. Maybe she should just bring some with?

”Thanks for the ride, I’ll give you your reward when you pick me back up.” Izzy gave the driver a flirty wink as she put on her black mask and black Champion hat. She exited the sleek black car and waved goodbye before spotting the rest of the group and joining them. She had done the best she could dressing plainly. She had a sleeveless black Florida t-shirt with black shorts and pink sneakers. Her hair was formed into two twin french braids that went down to her waist to prevent hat hair.

”Wow, did everyone bring bats?” Izzy surveyed the group before taking out a small beige folding knife the size of her palm. She had gotten it as a gift from her uncle to protect herself, but she’s never really used it except to open mail. ”I just had this lying around. I hope that’s alright.” Izzy swung a drawstring bag from over her shoulder and rummaged around her change of clothes to pull out a water bottle. She took a long swig from it. For once, there was actual water in there, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t have a separate flask of vodka in the bag as well. ”Anyone want some? Don’t worry, it’s water. Gotta stay hydrated and all that,” She held out the pink plastic bottle to the group, and shook it as if to prove it was water.

Izzy’s attention was drawn from her wine bottle across the room to the conversation at hand. Mutilated, bloodsoaked skeletons? Izzy turned her head away from the newspaper and grimaced. Despite the nature of Antheia’s abstraction, Izzy had never had to deal with gruesome injuries and whatever was on that paper was more than likely to make Izzy lose her dinner. Izzy didn’t say anything in regards to the murders, it seems that her thoughts were already spoken by Madison and Kayla. It’s not like she became part of the coven to fight the extra-normal like a good chunk of the others. Besides, she was too busy trying to suppress the nausea both from the alcohol and mentions of gore on the table.

When Kayla turned the topic away from Agatha’s original topic, Izzy was able to relax and was finally able to look back towards the group. Poor Oleander! Carefully, Izzy stood up and made her way towards the table. She had never used Antheia’s abstraction on a dog familiar, but since Oleander was very smart (probably smarter than Izzy, let’s be honest), he could probably understand and accept the healing. Leaning across the table, the redhead put her hand on either side of Oleander’s cute face and began to rub her thumbs over his cheeks. Antheia had said to do it herself if she needed it, so Izzy let the abstraction flow through her fingertips. Even through the haziness of the alcohol, Izzy could feel the soft warmth of love that always came with using the ability. It was hard to tell through Oleander’s thick fur if it was actually working, but even so, she leaned even further across the table to plan a smooch on his forehead.

Satisfied that Oleander was most likely healed of the bruise, Izzy stood back up and made a detour to pick up her wine bottle on her way back to the bar. She would have been very sad if it got knocked over or destroyed. ”If you really need me, I can tag along, but it sounds like you have a lot of volunteers already, Kayla.” Izzy wasn’t much for fighting or intimidating, but as the group healer she was occasionally called on to help with any injuries that people didn’t want to go to the hospital for. Not that she really minded, it just meant that she could call on favors quite a bit. Honestly, though, she should start charging money.

Izzy rolled her eyes. Madison had a point, except Izzy was flat broke. Not that they really knew that. When it came to food and drinks, she excelled at finding the freebies. But she was prompted to stop poking at the pizza remains, so Izzy did. “Hey, I’m not the one flying through the air covered in bones, so who’s the real weirdo here?” Izzy grinned and stuck her tongue out. To be fair, she considered everyone in the coven weirder than herself. Just a bunch of weirdos getting together and… uh breaking everything.

Then a bright light exploded, bleaching the surrounding room to one white color for a brief moment. Since Izzy had been facing away from the blast, it wasn’t as intense, but it still caused her eyes to go blind for a moment. Blinking away the spots in her vision, she noticed Agatha trying to organize some semblance of a meeting. The still half drunk girl waltzed off to the table, completely forgetting her wine bottle on the floor. As she did, she passed Antheia who simply sighed. “If you need me, take care of it yourself.” She grumbled before disappearing in a puff of pink smoke.

Izzy sat next to Madison and noticed the offering of gimbap that Maya brought to the meeting. “Oh, my savior!” Izzy exclaimed, jumping up and snatching the tupperware closest to her. “Now this! This is something I can actually eat.” When Kayla came back, Izzy instantly spoke up. “Decided to finally join us, eh?” Kayla’s cute husky familiar, Oleander followed behind obediently. Unable to shake the drunk girl stereotype, Izzy tried her best to subtly lean over to pet the fluffy pup. Unfortunately, he was too far away, so Izzy decided to just sit on the floor next to the dog, so she could pet him and rub her face in his soft fur. “Oo, actual business. Lay it on us Kayla.” Izzy said, only really half-listening to the world around her. The red-head had brought the gimbap with her to the floor and in addition to eating it herself, tried to feed Oleander one without getting caught. All the while cooing about how he was “Such a good boy!” and “Aren’t you just the softest pup in the whole wide world? Yes you are!”

Then of course, her puppy play time was interrupted by Herik picking her up. "Nooooo," She wailed, her arms still reaching out to the unmoving pup. But Herik was way stronger than her, and instead placed her at the bar. Izzy stared mournfully at Oleander and the empty tupperware that sat next to him. Sighing, she leaned against the bar and scanned the room for her abandoned wine bottle. She spotted it near the door and waited for her opportunity to break away from the conversation to retrieve it.
Y'all posting too fast i swear to god. I've had to revise so much.

Izzy hated the dusty old casino. It reminded her that she was super broke and couldn’t gamble any more. It also was terribly messy, but that was mostly due to the absolute chaos that was currently ensuing. Tables were crashing left and right, and there was screaming and yelling from multiple people. Izzy, just lounged on a comfy chair, her legs swung over the arm of it. In one hand was her phone, in the other a whole bottle of moscato which at this point still had around 3/4ths of wine left in it. She couldn’t help but throw her head back and giggle at seeing Claudette being thrown across the building into Madison.

”Wrow, didn’t know it did that,” She mumbled to herself before taking a long drink of wine. Izzy turned back to the scene of the crime and noticed the ruined pizza on the floor and all over Madison. ”Pizza? Again?” The tipsy girl groaned before swinging her legs to the floor and standing up. It took her a moment to keep her balance as the blood had rushed out of her head. Antheia lingered nearby looking annoyed at the whole situation. The spirit of love had never been a fan of these meetings especially since it felt like her abstraction was always abused here. However, Izzy simply ignored her and carefully skirted around the rampaging Griffin to see if the pizza was salvageable. ”You guys always force me to take a cheat day on my diet. Why can’t we eat decent food like sushi or something. There’s so many vegan restaurants around here, yet we always go with shitty pizza.”

Pouting, Izzy plopped herself on the floor and poked at the pizza remains, which she deemed uneatable. ”Oh well, guess I’ll be skipping dinner tonight.” She sighed and watched as Emily and Babylon bickered, and Keisha continued to run amuck. Then Izzy noticed Claudette was next to her. Wordlessly, she held up the wine bottle in offering. Maybe she should have brought another bottle.

Sylvaine had to close her eyes as a brief gust of wind blew sand and soil into her face. However, after shielding her eyes and coughing some of the sand out of her lungs, she noticed a lack of half her traveling companions. Seriously? They were nearly to the village and they decide to drag them off course now? "I have no idea what those two are up to. Probably a waste of time if you ask me." Sylvaine let some bitterness into her tone. It had been a long day of travel and all she wanted was some rest. Was that really so much to ask?

Sylvaine followed Allet making no effort to stay hidden when she noticed the boy everyone seemed to be focused on. Were they seriously stopping to harass some young boy playing with rocks? He was acting a bit odd, but kids are kids and always tend to be on the odd side. "I hope you all have a good reason for this. Cause right now you just look suspicious." She mumbled to no one in particular.
I added the relationships table to Izzy's CS, it's subject to change and I'm open to any discussion about relationships
