Communication is key and I love to communicate with those I role-play with. I also love getting to know my role-playing partners so our communication does not necessarily mean role-playing only, it can be a chat between two potential friends as well. [b][color=dodgerblue]Favorite Genres & Fandoms:[/color][/b] My favorite ones are Super-Heroes, Sci-Fi and some Fantasy (depending on the premise and the setting). I’m open to most other genres, as well as fandoms, and I will play in them if my role-playing partner is interested in them. It never hurts to ask. Aside from the genre I am about to cover, I don't do Slice of Life role-plays. If I want that, I'll just live my life since that's basically all it is. [b][color=dodgerblue]No Horror:[/color][/b] There is one genre I absolutely hate and I will NOT play in it. If it’s 100% pure Horror, I won’t touch it. If the RP is going to be primarily about Ghosts, Zombies (I especially HATE zombies), psycho killers and anything else seen in horror films/TV then count me out. Now, if my RP with someone has some horror elements, creatures, monsters and crazy people (i.e. like the Joker) then I’m okay with that. Just so long as it’s not the entire focus of it, then I’m good to go. Otherwise, no thank you. I’m okay with Vampires, Werewolves and other creatures of the night, just so long as you don’t change my character into a Vampire, or Werewolf, without asking me first. Speaking of which, I’m okay with some elements of the supernatural, like the creatures I just mentioned, but not all. It depends on the premise and the setting of what someone else wants to do with that. [b][color=dodgerblue]Posting Schedule:[/color][/b] Sunday through Thursday is my schedule for role-playing. I will not be available every Friday and Saturday. I will check PM’s, however, and make responses to Out of Character PM’s, but not In Character ones. As an officer of the law, Samson can be serious and by the book. [b][center][color=red][h3]-[POWERS & ABILITIES]-[/h3][/color][/center][/b] [b][color=red]Super Strength & Durability:[/color][/b] Samson is really strong, but the upper limit to his strength is unknown as he has never tested it's limits. While his base strength is impressive, he gets stronger when his body is flooded with adrenaline in the fight or flight response and he is capable of feats otherwise deemed impossible otherwise. On another note, Samson also has impressive durability since he has shown to be highly resistant to blunt force trauma, physical damage from punches or kicks, being thrown through brick walls and even falling from great heights without suffering any harm. Sufficiently powerful force IS capable of hurting Samson, however. While Samson has a high resistance to physical attacks and the like, this is not the case when it comes to other forms of damage such as arrows, bullets and similar kinds of weaponry which will easily penetrate his skin the same as they would any ordinary human. While Samson does not possess a true healing factor, he does heal from injuries in half the time it takes a normal human and without any scarring. [b][color=red]Fire Generation & Manipulation:[/color][/b] Samson can generate and control his own fire as well as other naturally occurring fires all around him. He can shoot either streams of fire from his mouth, hands or any part of his body. He can also control the overall temperature by raising it to be extremely hot or absorb the heat in a small area to make it very cold. As Samson grows in experience, there is no telling what else he can do with this power. [b][center][color=red][h3]-[SKILLS & OTHER ABILITIES]-[/h3][/color][/center][/b] [b][color=red]Detective:[/color][/b] Samson is a skilled detective, able to pick out clues others miss and solve difficult cases. [b][color=red]Defensive Driving:[/color][/b] As a Cop, Samson had to take defensive driving classes so he could drive cars the same way police officers do in case he needs to perform complicated maneuvers while driving a car at high speed during pursuits [b][color=red]Expert Martial Artist:[/color][/b] Samson has studied hand to hand combat under the instructors in Police Academy and has continued to train under other martial arts instructors to become better. [b][color=red]Expert Tracker:[/color][/b] Thanks to the hunting trips he used to take with his father and uncle during his childhood, Samson has become a skilled tracker, be it man or beast. [b][color=red]First Aid:[/color][/b] Samson is skilled in various first aid techniques. [b][color=red]Leadership & Teamwork:[/color][/b] During his time in the police academy, Samson learned some valuable leadership skills and to work as a team with others. [b][color=red]Mechanic:[/color][/b] Samson is no master, nor is he an expert, but he is still a pretty good mechanic when it comes to working on cars and various other vehicles. [b][color=red]Peak Physical Conditioning:[/color][/b] Samson works out daily and his work out routine is very intense. He maintains a very strict diet and because of this, he's in peak physical condition for a man of his height, size and build. He can hold his breath for 5 minutes and 37 seconds. [b][color=red]Weapons Expert:[/color][/b] During his time in the police force, Samson learned how to handle, build, repair, take apart, maintain and fire police issue handguns. [b][color=red]Wilderness Survival:[/color][/b] Samson was a boy scout when he was growing up and learned various survival skills. Combined with his police training later in life, he has learned to survive in most environments. He knows what is edible to eat, where to find water, build make shift shelters and survive either until help comes or until he finds civilization. [b][center][color=red][h3]-[EQUIPMENT]-[/h3][/color][/center][/b] [b][color=red]Bulletproof Vest:[/color][/b] Samson usually wears a bulletproof vest while working as a Cop. It's best to be prepared for everything. [b][color=red]Handgun (Springfield XD):[/color][/b] Samson usually carries a Springfield XD (X-treme Duty) and it is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol that is polymer-framed and striker-fired. The gun makes use of a polymer frame with steel inserts, mounting rail and trigger-mounted safety. An indicator protrudes from the rear of the slide when the striker is cocked. A loaded chamber indicator pivots up on top of the slide when a round is in the chamber being both visual and tactile. An ambidextrous magazine release is also standard. Take down of the pistol is through a lever on the left side of the frame that rotates up, allowing the slide to move forward off the frame. Samson always carries 3 extra ammo clips for his gun, not counting the one already inside his gun. Each clip contains 16 9mm rounds. [b][color=red]Squad Car:[/color][/b] Samson usually drives his police issue squad car that comes with all the normal stuff law enforcement vehicles come with. [b][color=red]Other Stuff:[/color][/b] Aside from a regular street vehicle and a house, along with the normal things that come with having a job, Samson's other possessions are ordinary and not worth mentioning. [b][color=red][center][h3]-[BRIEF HISTORY]-[/h3][/center][/color][/b] Samson showed no elemental powers while growing up other than being slightly stronger than most boys his age, as well as taller. Very few bullies bothered him though because he wouldn't tolerate grief from anyone. He never wanted to enter the boy scouts but his mother made him and his brother go. Both got most badges on their sashes and enjoyed it immensely even if they both hated it at first. Samson lived a pretty ordinary childhood until everything changed when his strength emerged when he was a teenager. However, he managed to keep it a secret except from his brother who thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Lance wanted Samson to become a super-hero like in the comics, but Samson didn't want anything to do with that because he didn't want to be found out by the Government and dissected like some freak. Working together the brothers worked on Samson's strength to help him control it enough to live a relatively normal life. Other than some close calls, Samson managed to keep his great strength hidden from other family members and friends. He decided to enter the Police Academy in order to best use his abilities to serve the law and protect civilians, but Lance had to talk his brother into doing it to begin with. But now Samson's other power of Fire Generation and Manipulation is beginning to emerge. Will he be found out? And if so, what will his fellow officers think of him? Only time will tell...[/hider]

While his base strength is impressive, he gets stronger when his body is flooded with adrenaline in the fight or flight response and he is capable of feats otherwise deemed impossible otherwise. On another note, Samson also has impressive durability since he has shown to be highly resistant to blunt force trauma, physical damage from punches or kicks, being thrown through brick walls and even falling from great heights without suffering any harm. Sufficiently powerful force IS capable of hurting Samson, however. <br><br>While Samson has a high resistance to physical attacks and the like, this is not the case when it comes to other forms of damage such as arrows, bullets and similar kinds of weaponry which will easily penetrate his skin the same as they would any ordinary human. <br><br>While Samson does not possess a true healing factor, he does heal from injuries in half the time it takes a normal human and without any scarring. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Fire Generation & Manipulation:</font></span> Samson can generate and control his own fire as well as other naturally occurring fires all around him. He can shoot either streams of fire from his mouth, hands or any part of his body. He can also control the overall temperature by raising it to be extremely hot or absorb the heat in a small area to make it very cold. As Samson grows in experience, there is no telling what else he can do with this power.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><div class="bb-center"><font color="red"><div class="bb-h3">-[SKILLS & OTHER ABILITIES]-</div></font></div></span><br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Detective:</font></span> Samson is a skilled detective, able to pick out clues others miss and solve difficult cases.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Defensive Driving:</font></span> As a Cop, Samson had to take defensive driving classes so he could drive cars the same way police officers do in case he needs to perform complicated maneuvers while driving a car at high speed during pursuits<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Expert Martial Artist:</font></span> Samson has studied hand to hand combat under the instructors in Police Academy and has continued to train under other martial arts instructors to become better. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Expert Tracker:</font></span> Thanks to the hunting trips he used to take with his father and uncle during his childhood, Samson has become a skilled tracker, be it man or beast. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">First Aid:</font></span> Samson is skilled in various first aid techniques. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Leadership & Teamwork:</font></span> During his time in the police academy, Samson learned some valuable leadership skills and to work as a team with others.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Mechanic:</font></span> Samson is no master, nor is he an expert, but he is still a pretty good mechanic when it comes to working on cars and various other vehicles. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Peak Physical Conditioning:</font></span> Samson works out daily and his work out routine is very intense. He maintains a very strict diet and because of this, he's in peak physical condition for a man of his height, size and build. He can hold his breath for 5 minutes and 37 seconds.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Weapons Expert:</font></span> During his time in the police force, Samson learned how to handle, build, repair, take apart, maintain and fire police issue handguns. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Wilderness Survival:</font></span> Samson was a boy scout when he was growing up and learned various survival skills. Combined with his police training later in life, he has learned to survive in most environments. It's best to be prepared for everything. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Handgun (Springfield XD):</font></span> Samson usually carries a Springfield XD (X-treme Duty) and it is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol that is polymer-framed and striker-fired. The gun makes use of a polymer frame with steel inserts, mounting rail and trigger-mounted safety. An indicator protrudes from the rear of the slide when the striker is cocked. A loaded chamber indicator pivots up on top of the slide when a round is in the chamber being both visual and tactile. An ambidextrous magazine release is also standard. Take down of the pistol is through a lever on the left side of the frame that rotates up, allowing the slide to move forward off the frame. Samson always carries 3 extra ammo clips for his gun, not counting the one already inside his gun. Each clip contains 16 9mm rounds.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Squad Car:</font></span> Samson usually drives his police issue squad car that comes with all the normal stuff law enforcement vehicles come with. <br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red">Other Stuff:</font></span> Aside from a regular street vehicle and a house, along with the normal things that come with having a job, Samson's other possessions are ordinary and not worth mentioning.<br><br><span class="bb-b"><font color="red"><div class="bb-center"><div class="bb-h3">-[BRIEF HISTORY]-</div></div></font></span><br><br>Samson showed no elemental powers while growing up other than being slightly stronger than most boys his age, as well as taller. Very few bullies bothered him though because he wouldn't tolerate grief from anyone. He never wanted to enter the boy scouts but his mother made him and his brother go. Both got most badges on their sashes and enjoyed it immensely even if they both hated it at first.<br><br>Samson lived a pretty ordinary childhood until everything changed when his strength emerged when he was a teenager. However, he managed to keep it a secret except from his brother who thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Lance wanted Samson to become a super-hero like in the comics, but Samson didn't want anything to do with that because he didn't want to be found out by the Government and dissected like some freak. Working together the brothers worked on Samson's strength to help him control it enough to live a relatively normal life.<br><br>Other than some close calls, Samson managed to keep his great strength hidden from other family members and friends. He decided to enter the Police Academy in order to best use his abilities to serve the law and protect civilians, but Lance had to talk his brother into doing it to begin with. <br><br>But now Samson's other power of Fire Generation and Manipulation is beginning to emerge. Will he be found out? And if so, what will his fellow officers think of him? Only time will tell...</div></div></div>
