With a single thought, the nanobots that comprise his clothing immediately reverting to their original form, his spider suit. "Are we all taking your ship or do you want to squeeze in a race?"

After John finishes his shower, he throws on some clothes before looking to see if Connor had replied. Once he had seen that Connor had not only responded, but that the Academy had been attacked, leaving no survivors, John picks up the phone and calls him immediately. "What do you mean there aren't any survivors? That school was packed with powerhouses like Superman and Mimic! I mean, I know they're kind of old, but they were both still healthy as horses. And yeah, I've heard of groups that could do something like this, but that was back before the war. I didn't think there were any really powerful groups left. Are you and your crew going to go check it out?"

Ben walks into the kitchen in pajamas and slippers, tiredly rubbing his crimson eyes. He yawns as he replies, "Mornin' E. It depends, do we have any bacon? And I'm gonna start a pot of coffee, you want a cup when it's ready?" He walks past his adopted sister and sets up the coffee pot before turning on a small TV that sits on the kitchen counter. As a superpowered trip, Estella, Jack, and Ben usually kept the TV on news station, just in case anything happens while they're sleeping that they need take care of. Because of this, the first thing Ben saw once the TV came on was a certain news reporter at the site of the Academy. Ben stares dumbfounded for a moment before asking Estella, "Have you seen this?"
