She had to admit both the reasons that James had given were correct, but she was not sure if both juice and chocolate mixed well. Glancing at both beverages, she shook her hed towards him. "No, I don't think I'll be drinking the juice this morning. I'm afraid my palatte won't take very well to citrus and chocolate being on it at once," she giggled as she reached for the cup that had the hot beverage in it and began drinking. Freya did love the way warmth and cooling went through her with beverages. It was something that really could not be put into words.

Hearing the maids start rustling about, she smiled. Her father was awake, and moving about the house - which meant it was almost time for him to enter the dining area and for her to tell him of the good news! She finished up her breakfast with ease and as she did, her father entered the room, making a point to give a greeting towards James, and the other staff nearby. He was a friendly looking older man, with a beard and thick wavy black hair. He sat down in a chair at the other end of the table after coming over and kissing Freya on the forehead as a greeting. This illicited a giggle from his daughter, and a smile from him. Sititng, he began drinking his coffee and graciously took the newspaper that was given to him by a nurse passing through and began catching up on what was going on.

Freya bit her lip gently, passing a nervous glance over towards James, before standing up from her chair and clearing her throat. "Ahem. Daddy- I have an announcement." She opened up. This caught his attention and he put the paper down, giving his child his attention. "Yes, dear Freya?" He questioned as he raised an eyebrow. Nodding, Freya moved towards him and delicately took out the paper that held her results and unfolded it with care before handing it to him. "I did it, Daddy. I got in!" She beamed.

Her father took a few moments to take in what he had just heard, his eyes looking over the numbers carefully and after a few moments of silence, a smile broke forth onto his face. He was truly proud, and pulled her in for a congratulatory hug. "That's my girl! I knew you had it in you. You're a Von Ryker after all," her father boasted. "A full ride...my girl got a full ride. Well, Freya - I think that this deserves some kind of celebration! Don't you think so, James?" He asked, looking towards the head butler. "And of course you'll want to live on campus, won't you? Get the full experience?" Freya nodded and straightened her glasses slightly. "If that's okay." Hearing this, her father laughed, and nodded. "Of course! I'll have to make sure you'll have everything you need. As James is preparing the party I'll be making sure that you'll be well taken care of when you leave, Freya. I'm very proud of you for doing this." Turning to James, he smiled. "So, James - how long do you think it will take you to plan for a party of up to 200 patrons?" He asked, a twinkle in his eye.
Of course, the villagers were cheering the younger dragon on as he seemingly defeated the older dragon. They began cheering, the cheif stepping forward. "Young Dragon. Please allow us to hold a feast in your honor. It is the least we can do for what you have done for us. Sara happens to be one of our emerging healers, allow her and a few others to tend to your wound." He offered, as he ordered people to start bringing the dragon food and drink. Sara gasped as she watched the two dragons fall towards the earth again, and rushed over, examining the wound on his wing. "If you don't mind..I'd like to start getting this fixed up for you," Sara offered as a few other villagers began gathering some herbs to help stop the bleeding.
As Riyven's hand left the pile of starter packs, the ground underneath her and students nearby began to shake. "What in the world?!" She gasped, as she did her best to keep her footing - more than a few students not being able to move quick enough out of the way were pierced swiftly. Her eyes widened slightly. Was this..a way to weed out students..? She watched as pieces of the ceiling came falling town - she saw a young man with brown hair put up some kind of hardened dome around her a few other students that managed to escape the ice shards.

A few students began crying - having already seen their comrades fall on the first day of class. She heard soft hissing above them, not being aware of the acid raid sprinklers. They were out of the dome soon enough though, and after a blinding light that she shielded her eyes from they saw what caused the sudden scene. Some kind of reptile thing...? Riyven blinked, kind of confused. That small thing caused all this damage? However, the people around her took on a defensive stance. In awe, she saw a mark of sorts burn its way onto the dragon's forehead, and raised an eyebrow towards Renja as he stared at her. Feeling her forehead get hot, she quickly felt her head and was surprised to feel a slight indentation of something. She frowned, and glanced towards everyone. "D-Dragon?" She questioned. "Woah, wait -- what about that mark on it's head? What about my head? What just happened?!" Riyven asked, feeling herself getting into a panic. She looked towards Frost, unsure what to really make of him. Should...should she casually say hi even though he just killed the majority of potential students in the academy?
Arianna hummed to herself as she stood near the stove, cooking up something for Riyven. Today was a rather important day for her niece. She would begin studying at the magical school nearby and that was exciting in itself. Arianna always thought it interesting to watch children develop their affinity for magic and what their callings were. Finishing making the eggs, she placed two of them onto a plate along with some sausages and oatmeal.

Riyven groaned as she emerged from her room and rubbed her eyes. She was already dressed in what she was planning to wear to school - it being her leather thigh-high boots, and a red tunic with a protective plate over her chest, and leather gloves. She yawned as she tied off her hair behind her and smiled towards her aunt. "Morning, Auntie." She greeted, sitting in front of her plate and began eating. "I can't believe today is the day that I start magic school!" She grinned after she had yawned, continuing to eat. She couldn't help but wonder who her classmates were going to be, and what they would develop into. Her aunt laughed at her and sat down with her making some idle conversation until she was finished eating. "Maybe you'll have a thing for plants like me?" Arianna teased.

"As much as I love you Auntie, I have to be my own person too." Riyven smiled, as she put her plate into the sink. "Alright! I'm headed out now, wish me luck. I'll tell you all about it." She grinned before snatching up a leather satchel and walking out of the door, and towards her new school. She arrived in about twenty minutes and reported to her desinated instructor's classroom. A Mr. Renji..She found his class soon enough, and got in line with other students, as they picked up what would be pretty much a starter kit. Finally Riyven was passing into the room and grabbed her kit excitedly. She was so excited that this was happening today of all days!
Villagers had long since witnessed a fight between dragons. Many years and generations they were plagued by a singular dragon - they forgot that they were formidable creatures that did fight with their own. Everyone watched in awe as the two of them dove into the clouds above. A few disgruntled murmurs ran through them as they wanted secretly to watch all of the fight. They did wait tensely to see who would emerge from the clouds victorious. A few villagers helped Sara get down and she watched the sky just as confused as the other around her. She was not sure if the younger dragon beating the elder was going to mean good or bad things for her village. If the old dragon died just form natural causes they would be free...but if this younger dragon had the idea to take in his stead that could cause a problem...
I would say a feast would be pretty fair! Since they would have had a celebration about the maiden's feast anyway, yeah! ^___^
Thanks for getting the intro post up! I'll get you a response in a few hours when I'm out of class ^___^
She couldn't believe he just said that. I mean, honestly...the sudden intrusion vaught everyone's attention, and she looked upwards. The creature landed behind her, but from her position she could not turn to see him, but the second creature slapped the other with its tail and they both shot up into the sky.

The villagers began murmuring. Was this mew dragon a good guy? In their eyes, he was - taking on their threat, the humans cheered for the younger dragon amd heckled the elder. What was going on..? And why for that matter?
@Otaku95 Not a problem! Sorry if the last post was a bit short - I was on my mobile :0
Hearing the compliment - at least that is what she could only perceive it as - she gave a slightly forced smile. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the prospect of being this creature's wife. But, if she was that meant that she wouldn't die. But, she was letting herself get distracted. His talon was long and cold on her skin and she shivered slightly.

His question only seemed to confuse her, as if he was asking about her death like he was not going to be the one ending it. She knew that she had to do this, but she sighed softly, eyeing the dragon. "As much as I would like to go peacefully I would say that I would roar a little bit." She giggled momentarily. "But, that isn't important. Are you to kill me to keep these people safe, or not?"
