Is Phantasm Spiral actually obscure that it doesn't get a mention? I personally wouldn't count pendulum/normal (Igknight, Metalfoes, the one Bujin, etc) or Paleozoics (normal monsters by card effect) as "normal monsters", and the game doesn't count non-effect ED monsters as normal either. Normal monsters just need a little bit of support to really be good though.

When I asked whether Polymerization and Fusion Substitute counted together, I meant for the sake of the RP, if that would still be "at 3". Granted, I don't think it'll matter much if the card was added when/if the game starts.

How are we dueling by the way? Dueling Book is definitely an option and contains Link monsters if you ever want to bother learning those. I can totes teach the class on Link summoning and the new mechanics. There's also Duel Portal which I don't like or use as much but has actual support for custom cards.

tbh, I'd just wait for the GM to do something. I've been talking to Jerkchicken about it though. I, personally, don't know if this will continue or not, though it's certainly lost steam from those initial few days.

Fusion Substitute in its card text says it counts as "Polymerization", with rulings stating that it contributes to your count of Polymerization. So would running 1 copy of vanilla Polymerization and 2 copies of Fusion Substitute still be running Polymerization at 3?

Also, with Kaleidochick being one of the best card in Lunalights, I'd have cut that first. Though really, all that deck needs to do stuff is Zoodiac Broadbull to search everything.
