Ah yeah, sorry. This is because of my late post, haha. I pretty much spent all of Tuesday sick in bed, and Wednesday was revising the post. It'll be done today.

I had originally entered with two sci-fi characters in mind. Ultimately, I only managed to find one of the sheets, and she wasn't accepted. So, I have a rather anachronistic Fantasy character, instead. I did eventually find the other sci-fi character I had in mind, but after the limits of what a character should be capable of were detailed, I deigned her to be overpowered beyond the point of changing.

On another note... that NGNL signature keeps distracting me for a minute for every time I see it.

Oh, if the GM is still interested, I'm willing to send him that second Sci-Fi sheet irregardless. I actually rather miss Ms. Zegato.

Enalais and Ionion have gotten the two most basic rules of PvP combat.

Expanding on that toward basic guidelines: it's always a good idea for the two or more roleplayers in combat to contact each other and make an outline of the battle beforehand. As this isn't a tabletop roleplay with dice rolls or some kind of Video Game with its own built-in combat system, some discussion is always highly recommended. This makes for smoother roleplay and allows for longer, multiple-action posts.

It is slightly different in relation to GM controlled "NPC's" and Player Characters, as an NPC or set of NPCs are technically a "public use" set of characters. However, the owner/creator of the NPC always has precedent over their property.

Ultimately, Freeform Play-by-Post RP functions based on an honor system. It's expected to attack within reason or capability, and it's expected to receive those attacks within reason or capability. In other words: stick to what your character(s) know and can see, have your charaters do what they're capable of.

Derp. Terrible news: Just hit 8.6gb out of 10gb on the family data plan and our billing cycle doesn't end until the 15th. So, keeping up when I'm not in the house will be a bit hard.

Of course, I'm only in class for 5 hours max, but still... I do some of my best typing when I'm supposed to be paying attention to lectures D:. So it's going to be eight days until I can hook up to the phone internet (as opposed to the entirely terrible school net).

And yeah... I miss Game of Tails, too.

Though it's in draft form and still needs to be looked over by Impy. Just barely over 1/2 of it is a fight scene.

Upon approval, I'll be retyping the whole thing, since stuff always flows better when I type them for the second time. So, it could get shorter, or it could get longer.

This is Game of Tails all over again...

Edit: Oh wait, I hope you're not thinking I'm talking about word count. I'm using char count, lol. The standard is 5 characters per 'word', so 30k characters = 6000 words.

All war and conflict was dominated by information, she thought in supposition, and chose to take to the perch for the equal opportunity to scope out the belligerents as well as bypass the gate security. With a few words of incantation, she leapt up about three storeys to the wooden beam and crouched down.

Briefly, a stiff breeze passed and rustled her cloak, lifting her hood and placing it atop her head. For whatever reason, Aoife felt herself at that moment being likened to an assassin of some sort. Fittingly, an eagle rounded in a circumference about the building, just above her.

*cough*

Phew, glad I draft on Google Docs. Computer restarted unexpectedly and I would've lost some 14k characters of text. The post is necessarily very long, but yeaaaahhh.... About 3/5ths of the way done.

Hmmm... If you guys can wait through one or two back and forth messages between Aoife and Ren, perhaps? If not, well... I can always pick option B, but we'd have six dead bodies on our hands. Or I can think of something.

Either way, I'll wait for Impy to reply to this, which should be tonight. Good thing I haven't posted yet.
