Character added.

“I assume that I will have the full corruption of Special Operations Command in this next phase?”

Do you mean cooperation or corruption? Not sure if that is intended or is a typo error :P

Laura Volker

Call Sign: Vulture
ID Tag: 244707
Gender: Female

Appearance:

Laura's skin is fair, smooth and unblemished. Her beautiful features are striking and prominent. She wears her chest-length hair free framing her face attractively. Their luscious locks are a shade of honey blonde, appearing as though they were made of strands of pure honey. She sometimes buns up her hair, especially while in armour. Her face is youthful yet serious. Despite that she still possess a quirky sense of humour and knows how to smile, smiling whenever the situation requires it or when she feels like it. Her chin is pointed and her eyes a shade of icy blue that reminds one of the many bodies of water in Earth. Her sunny and pleasant disposition emits a warm and healthy glow around that radiates throughout her entire person. She is fit and strong, built just like any other her comrades in the Daedalus Initiative.

Psychological Record:

A determined and strong-willed individual, Laura is not one who gives up easily. She may not succeed at the first or second try, but she will persevere on until the job is completed. The spunky girl was known to exhibit great acts of courage and has shown that she is a great team player, as well as having being mentioned on several occasions of having exceptional leadership skills. In times of zealousness, she has been known to be careless and possibly overlook details. Thankfully, this does not happen often or it could lead to dire consequences. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and can be prone to getting emotional affecting or clouding her judgement in matters.

The First Ten Years:

Like the rest of her cohort, Laura grew up into a life of military training and education. Practical and theory classess were in abundance as the Daedalus Intiative begun training the super soldiers as soon as they were able to do so. Life on Haoma was nothing interesting, but neither was it boring. Her life was packed with plenty of things do accomplish per-day and she always wished she had more time. One of the subjects that she took to quickly was engineering. She loved working with all things mechanical, and look putting and taking apart objects and machines. Many hours were spent repairing assorted machines, as well as coming up with interesting new concepts on how to further benefit the program. One thing she loved was looking back at past inventions, and taking them apart to learn how they worked, and why they worked. Military training was another subject she loved, seeing it as a way to get off the words and into the action itself. Excelling at her martial arts classes, she grew to be an extremely competent fighter in any close-quarters engagements when they presented themselves. Also as good as shooting the rifle as she is taking them apart and engineering them, she has proven in many occasions of her marksmanship.

Cybernetic Augmentations:

Laura has an implant in her left eye that allows for greater magnification of vision, zooming up to 30 times higher than normal vision. The implant also comes with a night/darkness calibrator which makes it alot easier to see in the dark, while not having to deal with the night vision green tint. Her knuckles have also been cybernetically enhanced, giving her one helluva' mean punch.

Combat Role:

Engineer & Fire Support

Loadout:

BS MKV Shotgun
ARR-221 Assault Rifle
2 Smoke Grenades
2 Fragmentation Grenades
1 Medgel Injector
1 Combat Knife
Here is my CS. Will make any updates/changes if necessary.

As Olivia opened the grimy and dirty doors to the supermarket, the doors creaked as it slided open. What she saw gave her a fright. Sitting on the floor with his legs splayed out towards her was an African American man, with an afro hairdo. His appearance suggested one of the stereotypical afro-american gangster. He looked young enough, and she wondered how long he had been dead for. Although her knowledge of corpses was limited, she still had the common sense to know that if his body had not decayed yet, he couldn't have been long dead. What drew her eye was the object he held in his left hand. A weapon. Not just any weapon, but a Taurus Model 605 Revolver. Any weapon would be nice. He wouldn't be needing that anymore anyway.

Slowly moving towards the body to make an attempt to retrieve the pistol, she kept any eye on the figure the whole time, making sure he really was dead. As she got to the corpse, she crouched down slowly, eyes ever watching on the man, she tried to pry the weapon from his hand. His hands had long since gone stiff as rigor mortis set in, his grip on the revolver was like a miser holding on to his coin pouch. After several futile attempts to pry his fingers loose and failing, she then use her machete to chop off the fingers around the grip of the gun, making the process much easier to accomplish. Finally managing to get rid of the dead man's fingers, she checked the gun, and noticed it was still in relatively good condition. Opening the bullet chamber, she noticed that out of the six bullet slots, there were still four bullets in them. That was great. She now had a sidearm of own, even if it was just four bullets.

Walking through the deserted supermarket, with its shelves either empty or in disarray, Olivia kept on a lookout for any items of value. Both food products would have spoilt by now, so it would be a better idea to look for something that she can use. The freezers had long gone out of power, and the stench of rotting food as she passed by the frozen section was overwhelming. As she walked past the many shelves, she past by food, food and more food. All spoilt and useless by now.
@Hexaflexagon

I've got some questions.

1. What combat roles are available?
2. What kind of writing sample do you need?

As Laura got closer to the source of the ear-splitting scream, she saw that it had came from a man. And he didn't look like a raider. That was great. She didn't have to kill him then. Besides, from her position, he looked to be in pretty bad-shape. He was still moaning about, and he rolled over and clutched his head. He struggled to stand, and as he faced her, she saw the familiar crimson sight of blood.

Was he injured perhaps?

He sure looked like it. As she walked up to the guy, she took in his appearance. A tall and gangly man with a shock of wavy brown hair. His hair looked like it was soaked in a combination of sweat and blood. How long had he been injured? His face seemed to be flowing with blood, and so was his sweatshirt.

This man here, though he looked half-dead, was the first living person she had seen that wasn't a bandit raider. Some company would be nice, it's been a long time since she has had any company of any sort.

As Laura crouched down, she swung back her rifle and began to stare at the guy, she spoke "Hey, are you alright? Do you need help?" She then placed her backpack on the ground as she took out a relatively clean piece of cloth, she normally used for wrapping goods to wrap it up. She tied the cloth around his wound, like a bandana of sorts.

Best keep that covered until they find medication of any sort. Looking around, she saw that the two of them were completely alone in the deserted streets. Prodding the guy, she kept on the look-out for any sign that the guy was beginning to regain consciousness.
@Serum

As Laura walked around the city, going into abandoned buildings, one after another, she found very little items worthy of note. She had gone in restaurants, smaller diners, grocery stores, apartments, and most of them had already been scavenged by bandits or the many other travellers roaming the streets. Expired food, useless items like toys or storybooks of subjects long past were the pick of the day. Expired food had long since rotten, and these storybooks were no longer needed, an artifact of the past. Many of these buildings were but a shell of their existing self, and those that survived the shelling, were not much better. Although intact, they too suffered the fate of the rest of buildings among them. Abandoned.

While searching around in a grocery store in one of the many deserted streets filled with wreckage of cars, she happened to chance upon a pair of bandits walking around like they owned the road. These bandits never learnt. They didn't had to, not many people dared to stand up to them anyway. Well, in a way it was great for her, that they did not. It made hunting them alot easier being the dumb arrogant nuts that they were. One of them was carrying the same assault rifle she was using as well. Perfect. More ammunition.

Using the grocery store as cover, Laura began taking aim before firing away the bandits. Her first shot took the pair by surprise, and the first fell in shock. Unfortunately, she had missed the mark, and only managed to wound him somewhere in his torso. A shootout then occurred among the three of them, the resounding cracks of gunshots echoing throughout the city.

The two bandits were pinned in their only cover in the streets, while she had the freedom to move around through the store, and after several more rounds of exchanged gunfire cracked around, she got the better of them.

She run to check the corpses for potential loot, scavenging whatever ammunition they had left from the fight. It was then that she heard the ear-splitting scream. It made her jump with fright, and rifle in hand, she ran towards the source of the sound, trying to figure out whatever made that unearthly sound.
