Leith opened the door to his room. He had known that he wouldn't be able to get to sleep after the events of the night before, so he just wandered around the college, helping where he could. He was both mentally and physically exhausted, and yet he knew that he still wouldn't be able to sleep. He would probably go see Sam later in the night for something to help him sleep. When everything had calmed down more-so than it was at the moment. He only came back to the room to drop off his gauntlet and the sword that he had acquired early in the battle, as well as change into some fresh clothing

He had shuffled his way to his bed and deposited his sword on it before he noticed the hole in the wall and Ssarak and Meirin Standing there. He stared at them for a few moments before he realized what was wrong with the scene. Leith shook his head to clear it and chuckled. "Well this is a surprise. Did one of you fight a demon in here?"

Darius woke up with a start. He was covered in bandages and he was in an unfamiliar environment. He sat up in the bed quickly and immediately regretted it. His arms and legs started burning and his head started throbbing horribly. It had felt like he had been drinking the entire night before. It took him a lot of effort to not vomit at that moment.

He looked around the room and saw that it was full with injured people. Some were wailing in pain while others were either unconscious or dead. Darius saw no one from his detail in the room. That could be either a good thing or a bad thing. With a grunt of effort, pulled the covers off and swung his legs over the bed, ignoring the pain that doing so had caused. He located his robes and pulled himself off the bed.

His legs failed to hold him upright for long and he collapsed onto the ground. A woman walked towards him to help him up but he waved her off. "Leave me! I do not need help," he growled between laboured breaths. He slowly pulled himself up the wall and walked towards where his robes were, using the wall as support. When he grabbed his robes, he started the slow process of putting them back on.

Konan: I like that. Definitely gives me an idea for a monster design. Will you be including any info on the victim in your CS?

I will be including info in the CS
I do. My character was in a bad car accident that caused a death. He was the one that caused it. It's definitely going to be interesting.
This seems interesting. I'm in
I'm here.
Leith sat against the wall outside the Infirmary. As soon as they had made it to the Infirmary, he had sat down against the wall and watched the chaos of the hall. He made eye-contact with an injured student as they died. Leith wasn't sure what shocked him more; the fact that he just watched the life go from someone's eyes, or the fact that he felt nothing when he saw it. He stared at the body while the healer's that were attending to it closed its eyes. He felt numb to everything. He felt numb to the screams of pain. He felt numb to the sight of those injured. The only think that he didn't feel numb to was his pain.

He wasn't sure how long he had stared at the dead student, but he was jarred out of his reverie by the sound of someone speaking. His head snapped up and he saw Meirin holding something out to him. With a tied smile, Leith accepted the offered potion, and drank it. He grimaced at the taste. "They really need to make these taste better." He said out loud. More to himself than to Ssarak and Meirin.

He listened to Meirin as she spoke about the attack not being over, and that the demon would come back, like they always did. That caught Leith's attention. It seemed that Meirin has had experience with demons. When he noticed how distraught Meirin looked, he opened his mouth to say something but Ssarak said something first. Leith nodded and added his thoughts to the conversation. "He's right. We did what we could, and if we looked at all the what-if's, we'd get depressed." He paused as he felt something familiar in what he said, but he shrugged it off and leaned forward. "This has been an insane day. First, Xyden attacked Mar and her kid, then the demons attacked and Khan was poisoned, and then they just... blew up. I really hope that that was the-" Leith stopped as he noticed someone out of the corner of his eye. "Annabeth?"

The girl was wandering aimlessly and it looked like she was muttering something. Leith stood up from his position, walked towards her and stopped in front of her. "You look like you've been through hell. Glad to see that you're alive."

Hey, Ryonara and Konan, can I assume in my next one that Ssarak, Meirin, and Leith moved with the guards and cleared the way to the infirmary?

Yep, that works.
Darius' gaze shot up from the now dead demonic knight to the girl who had killed it, his face showing confusion. The confusion on his face then twisted into a grimace as he started to realize what had happened. He picked himself off the ground, all the while glaring at the red-headed girl. He turned his head and spat a mouthful of blood onto the floor. An Esyire walked up to them and asked if the girl was alright. He ignored his headache and the pain that had blossomed in his shoulders and legs as he laughed flippantly at the question.

"I do not believe she could have hurt herself stealing my kill," he said, anger evident in his voice. He turned his gaze back to the girl and spoke to her, ignoring the Esyire for the moment. "I did not call for hel-" The man swayed as a wave of dizziness washed over him. "For hel-" Darius fell backwards onto the edge of a table, tipping it over. He spent his last few moments conscious wondering how bad his wounds were for him to be feeling the effects of blood loss.

Leith had finally gotten his breathing back to normal when Ssarak approached them. He stood up and made his way over towards his roommate. Leith chuckled as when he heard Ssarak mention that taking down the knight was impressive. "You should have seen the sword-" He was saying before a robed man the he hadn't seen before interrupted him. The man saying something about Meirin stealing a kill before he addressed her. His voice was rising as he spoke, and Leith was going to try and defuse the situation before the man fell, bringing a table and all its contents with him.

Leith rushed over to the man and checked for a pulse. He still had one, but it was weak. Leith glanced at Ssarak and Meirin. "That was interesting. Can you help me move him over there?" he asked as he pointed towards the small area in the back corner where the medics from both the armies and the college had gathered all the injured people

So what I suggested before, about having all students in the dining room in a single collab, does everyone want to do that? If so, should we start a pad for it?

I'm interested in that, and starting a pad would probably be a good idea.
I'm glad I haven't had any yet... I hope it stays like that.
