CREEEAAAMMM!!! (I kinda feel sorry for the vendor)

hahah that chest cream
The streets were dense with people and noise, it was almost disorienting. Morticia wore clothes that covered most of her body, all the way up to her neck. Her skin didn't always agree with the sunlight, so her puppet Bonnie carried an umbrella over her head. Bonnie appeared simple enough being made of straw bound with cloth, but the magic that went into making it was far from simple. Morticia usually wasn't a fan of events like these, but she hasn't been making any progress in her research and decided a little break was in order. And with all these people maybe someone would kick the bucket. Mortia could really use some life force from a fresh corpse.

As they walked, Morticia with her little steps and Bonnie with its slight limp, vendors everywhere were trying to out sell and out shout each other. All kinds of strange and useless things were being sold. Only fools would fall for those scams. But one item stood out amongst the rest: a cream that could double bust size! "You guarantee that it works?" she asked the vendor.

"Of course, just ask my wife!" he laughed. Just then noble woman with a steel steed refused the exact same item.

"Umm, on second thought, I'll pass" Morticia said, slightly embarrassed she almost bought into the scam.
Geez, I don't even know why I bother Rosie thought to herself. "Is that anyway to talk to your cousin" she glared at both of them, sizing them up. "Whatever, enjoy your freakin soup" she muttered as she left the room. So Sophia was busy cooking and Angelo was going somewhere. Now was a good opportunity to snoop around. Rosie casually strolled through the hallway, trying to not look suspicious.

"Oh dear, you should really dress nicer" said a voice coming from behind her.

"Aww, auntie, its not like I'm going out tonight" Rosie responded, realizing she was still in her disguise.

"Kids these days!" her aunt said jokingly. "If you're not going anywhere then don't be late for dinner" she said as she continued on her way. Rosie's aunt was the only one that has been welcoming to her. Maybe it was just because she felt guilty about of what happened to Rosie's parents. Either way her aunt was the only one here she'd consider family.

When Rosie was certain she was alone she snuck into Sophia's office and closed the door behind her. Everything in there was nice and neat, Rosie was careful not to touch anything she didn't need to. The really juicy stuff was probably in the filling cabinet, which to her frustration was locked. Under other circumstances she would just force it open with a crowbar or hammer, but discretion was the name of the game here. Now, where would Sophia keep her keys. Rosie prayed she didn't keep it with her.
//Finished, sorry if there are typos. BTW, I noticed the timeline was counting down. Is that just for aesthetics or is something cray-zeee gonna happen at year zero?

Name: Morticia Vitann
Age: 25
Race: Ranath
Class: T.A.C. Investigator
Class Specialty: Summoner
Class Specialty Abilities: Expert in dark magics, specifically summoning and necromancy (she can't actually bring things back to life).

Sub-Class Specialty: Animal Tamer
Sub-Class Specialty Sheet:
Name: Bonnie Bones
Appearance:

Type: Doll
Info: Bonnie is a scarecrow made from a potato sack stuffed with straw and bones from various sources that is supposed to form a skeleton. Through complex necromancy and months of work, she has been imbued with the remnant life force of a dead pig, horse, and crow. It is important to note that she is not alive, nor does she have a soul. She is merely a puppet that does whatever Morticia commands. Bonnie walks awkwardly and is rather clumsy due to her rudimentary bone structure, and often falls apart at the seams. She is mostly used for simple things like carrying bags and doing simple chores.

Skills: Reading, gardening. Plants are one of the simpler forms of life, and as such Morticia studies and experiments on them frequently to discover the secrets of life and death.

Appearance:

Equipment/Weapons:

Personality: Obsessive, eccentric, clingy, awkward.

History: Morticia and her twin sister grew up in a PRO-HALO community, but her parents were never passionate about the cause. At the age of 7 her sister caught a mysterious disease that confined her to a bed. Her parents took her to every healer they could find, but despite their efforts she lost her life. Shortly after Morticia caught the same disease and had the same symptoms. Desperate and unwilling to let another daughter die, her parents turned to The Arcane Coalition for aid. And while their magics were more sophisticated, it was ineffective against the disease. Her condition worsened until she was at death's door. Then one night, when the stars aligned, Morticia fell into a deep slumber. She dreamed of nothing, darkness, an empty void. Then, from the shadows she saw her sister. Her lips were moving but Morticia couldn't tell what she was saying. The next morning the sickness was washed away like it never existed. Her parents thought the healers from the Arcane Coalition saved her and they became passionately PRO-TAC. Morticia was never the same after that. Once in a while she would have strange dreams of places and people she has never seen before. The only constant in those dreams is the image of her sister. She became convinced that there some meaning behind them. She became obsessed with magic, especially the dark kind that tampered with the line between life and death. Morticia scoured libraries for books and attended lectures despite not being a student. Her interest and talent caught the eye of TAC recruiters and she was convinced to join the academy. There she honed her magic skills and expanded her knowledge. But despite all she has learned she still searches for answers.

Misc: While dark magic isn't illegal, it is frowned upon and often kept secret by those who can wield it.
