I'd rather stick to the normal dueling style, but I wouldn't mind having Turbo Duels in. I actually kind of liked the gimmick along with 5Ds. Yes, I actually like 5Ds, and I regard it as the last true Yugioh series before they went all CARD GAEMZ FROM SPACE GAIZ on us. And Arc-V? Just watching the opening made me cringe....

Anyway.... yeah, I'd say to mostly stick with Normal Style, but have Turbo Duels for anyone wanting something a bit different.

Would my Iswarm deck be okay then?
If you do end up using Lightsworns, I've got the perfect theme that would fit them, especially for whenever Judgement Dragon or Michael hit the field.

And yeah, I've got Android's YGOPro app. Probably the best app out there, but that's an opinion coming from a guy who loves Yu-Gi-Oh xD! Aside from just giving me a way to kill time in a fun way, it's really helped me experiment with and work on my decks. I have four decks I can run successfully: Steelswarms, Iswarms (combo of Steelswarms and Evilswarms), Ghostricks, and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (which is my irl deck).

Anyway, I'd still like to use my Iswarm deck, and hopefully with a character whose personality actually matches the deck.
Well, IVIasterJay knows firsthand how easily my Iswarm deck can shut down a deck that focuses heavily on special summoning. The only other deck I have that's actually pretty good is the deck I use in real life, and that's a Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck. It special summons powerful monsters like crazy and can apparently go head to head with popular builds like Chaos Dragons, Dark World, and Constellars. At least, that's the impression I get whenever I test it against the decks that come with the Android AI in the YGOPro app. Might not be accurate though, but that's that.
It's dead anyway...
Last day of school is tomorrow for me, only have to take the math final too. I'm running a Yugioh RP of my own elsewhere, but I'd be willing to be a Co-Gm that at least keeps things in order and brainstorms new ideas and what not. Want to shoot me a PM to discuss things?
Okay, who'll be the one to start an OOC? And what will the premise for the new RP be?
I'd say I do a Shadoll deck, but those things are broken as hell.
But the tourney seems to be central to what will happen later in the RP, ditching it doesn't seem like a good idea. Maybe there should be a deadline for the completion of duels or something, or maybe before a bracket is made, people can discuss their usual posting times to set up a time when they should duel (and have it go in order of which ones can get done quicker).

@Keyblade: Lightsworns are pretty good, I tried making a deck of them just yesterday, but failed. It seems that I'm only good at making decks that deal with fiends, dark attribute monsters, or dragons.

I think I'll still keep the Iswarm deck, but make a character whose personality suits their theme of corruption more. He won't be evil or anything, but maybe there will be more aspects to him that don't make him out to be noble or anything.

Or I can make a new character that runs Ghostricks, those guys are super fun to play xD!
Sort of... All Unending would need to do is just copy and paste the OP and start a new thread, and maybe tweak a few things to add appeal, detail, and plotpoints.

I for one know a Yugioh RP can be fairly active and interesting considering I run my own RP on a different site. I can't say it's super quick or advanced or anything, but it flows smoothly.
Eh... it kind of is, which is why I suggested we reboot the RP to weed out inactive members (or rekindle their interest) and get new ones.
