Keryeion laughed at Jain mockingly, but otherwise said nothing to her as Lyall continued to converse with the others.
"I'd imagine you were, it has been a while. One, maybe two years or so since we last saw each other. I trust you haven't gotten rusty over time, it'd be a damn shame to easily beat you."
Of course, it wouldn't really be a shame. Lyall expected for this to be an easy first victory, and he would prefer it to be a quick one so that he could be one step closer to the three cloaked duelists. People like them couldn't be allowed to go unchecked, which is why Lyall was determined to either dispose of them or have them become part of his group.. if he deemed they would be loyal to him. Kerykeion would assist in that of course, but they had to have at least a little bit of a loyal disposition first.
The duelist glanced at Jain and gave a small smirk as if to say, "What's it to you?"
