I find myself using it all the time nowadays

I dont know about the 'official' Army being only a Cadet myself but id assume that you have some sort of duty to disobey orders if they are A) a War crime B) Unlawful or C) Going against Conduct. I know from a friend of mine thats in the Austrian armed forces guard they have to alert a target that they will open fire if they dont stop what their doing. I'd assume that if an NCO or CO told you to do otherwise you dont do that as it goes against their code of conduct. I thought they would have some sort of rules after Vietnam anyways.

Edit: "and NOT an insubordinate, unreliable person that disregards the ideals of others to force an overly idealistic mindset onto people actually using their brains and considering the long-term consequences of their actions." You understand that if you shoot an Innocent man on a Lieutenants orders you both will go away for a long time for war crimes. The minute you switch into that mindset your no better than many of Historys most vilified leaders.

Kate and Liam both left the Cupids Kiss rather promptly after their meeting, they had left their numbers with Cupid and had promptly left. They decided the next best place to go was to go to meet with Mr Jones, the next man on their list of potential allies.

"That could have gone worse, dont you think?" Kate said as they walked down the street towards the Club. "It could have, I do hope that he sticks to his promise or were gonna have a whole other problem later on down the lane" They continued on down the road towards the Club. When they rounded the corner however they saw the bodies lining the streets.

"Holy shit, what the fuck happened here" Kate said pulling her 1911 out of her jacket, Liam following suit.

Kate looked the man in the eye. "You have my word, we will stick to our end of the deal if you stick to yours. Now Mr Abatangelo can we count on your help." Liam came back out of the Shadows and stood behind Kates chair. "I can assure you Cupid we wont falter from the deal so long as you do the same I personally promise you this. From one vampire to another i believe that once we have the final group we will be a force to be reckoned with." Liam said as he stuck out his hand.

Rebecca fired a shot at the Mirelurk hunter from the back of the group hitting its shell and ricocheting into a hatchling. She chambered a second round and fired again, ricocheting again this one hitting the wall. She pulled a grenade from her belt and threw it out into the group of Mirelurks.

Kate actually feared for her life at this point, but she remained cool and calmed. "Mr Abatangelo, I cannot offer you much, but i can pay in installments. I can write you a five hundred dollar check here and now but other than the money you may have to specify exactly what it will cost to buy your trust." Liam on the other hand had gotten nerved as soon as he decided to get a little to close for comfort. He sank back into the shadows, something his bloodline had allowed him to do. While the Kelling bloodline were not known for being great warriors some of them had been spies or even assassins which meant that being able to become one with the shadows was an ample trait to someone of those careers.

He made his way to the other side of Kate still hidden in the shadows meaning should Cupid attempt something rash and stupid he could cut it out straight away.
