Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Kyelin, mind if I take the position as the colonizer of the world in your latest post?

Go right ahead.

Kyelin, what's your homeworld called? Or better would be, also where it is located.

The Ethereals dot exactly have a home world. It's where abouts and fate are list to them. They get around in small war bands of two to twenty cruisers, and can be found in various locations as they move about.

Btw, on my phone :S
@Wilson

Soon. I'm trying to make contact with all the other races, to at least identify them now. For stuff and reasons.
So I finally took the plunge and made contact. Waiting now for a response...

By the way it's Saturn the ship arrived at. Just to throw a spanner in the works,
Unknown Space

A single Ethereal Cruiser warped into the system, and was met with a spectacular sight, of a huge gas giant with vibrant moons and many other systems. This ship was a scout, for rumors persisted of Tier 2 sentient life having colonized most of this system, including the garden world. As such, it was important to assess this new enemy, and discover any weaknesses of any kind before they could become a threat. As such, the ship was largely outfitted for stealth, with an energy dampening system for masking itself on long range sensors and communication jamming equipment. On the downside, it was not outfitted for large scale combat and speed, not that it was intended to do anything of the kind in this scenario.

Silently as possible, the ship scanned it's nearby surroundings, and found artificial heat plumes, as well as structures and sentient life of several kinds. Moving slowly, it began to approach the source, eager to identify these creatures. While unlikely to be spotted via radio imaging at this range (the engine dampeners were very effective), there was no guarantee that it couldn't be seen out of a window or porthole when it got close. Hopefully, they would be slow to react, if it didn't act too hostile. It was unfortunate it came to this, but hopefully this element of the plan would fall into place, and begin their crusade.
Nevermind
Opus turned his head towards the merc, and nodded casually. "Yes, that would be correct. And you would be the mercenary, August, I presume? Pardon the bluntness of my response, but I have read up on as much of the team as I can access. Better to know who you're working with, yes?"

The agent listened intently to the briefing, and was relieved to hear that the rebels are most likely not in total control of the station. That would make getting on board and moving around the facility much more manageable. Though he couldn't help but wonder how the rebels had gained control in the first place. There should have been fail safes, or something, anything, to prevent this kind of emergency from happening. Whatever the case, there would be answers on the station, once the data was collected and the surviving rebels were captured. And maybe, if they were lucky, the Assembly team would be given an answer too.
Opus had again kept himself secluded from the others, continuing to prep for the mission in his own way. He wondered how the others found time to socialize and get to know one another, the agent would rather make sure he was not going to be blindsided once the boots hit the ground. Until then, he would go over the routines and movements he had formulated in his mind when he memorized the holographic schematic from a few days before. He sheathed his blade, and holstered his pistol, before uttering what seemed to be an unintelligible prayer. No one would get the jump on him. He would get the jump on the rebels, instead.
Opus arrived a little late to the briefing, having needed to add some minor augments to his suit before boarding the Hummingbird, and saw the team was already discussing strategies to avoid detection. In their respective armor and equipment, everyone looked ready for a fight. And in the agents head, he guessed who would and wouldn't be coming back, based on his initial impressions on them.

"Greetings, Team Leader Rareth. Please excuse my delayed arrival, I had to slightly alter my suit for the air pressure in the station. From what I have gathered, this will require finesse and a silent approach to avoid detection, yes? We may want to split up the teams, if that is the case. Smaller profile on thermal scans, if they have access to those." Opus crossed his arms, and leaned against the back wall. "Though, it is only a suggestion, I do not wish to intrude on any plans you may have already made."
