Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Well, I need to go out right now. So, in the end, I would make a CS tonight, when I get back.
Not much. I saw the recruitment thread. How do you think this one will go? Cause I'd like to join :D
Hey Cart, remember me?
I am interested still, forgot to subscribe. Should I make a sheet now, or wait for OOC?

What's an average distance between solar systems?

And average distance I think is about 100-200 light years? I think it depends on whether you're in a star cluster or such. I'm not an expert, I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere
This arguing in general gets us nowhere. People get online to post IC, see the latest argument and end up posting their opinion on the matter. I know I've done it before.

It's pretty annoying. Starting to turn into this:

After clearing the next room, the agent looked over the terminals, and spoke up.

"To be perfectly honest, we still don't know what kind of firepower these rebels have. No doubt, they were just bored, and given a small detachment to wander the halls and keep busy. There may be a significantly larger force guarding the control room." Opus played about with his pistol, before continuing. "On the other hand, we are running out of time, and we will most likely have to face them anyway. Shuo and Shiva are right, we should perhaps, 'go loud', as much as it pains me to say it..."

Looking over Shiva after commenting about hostages, he chuckled, and nodded. "Of course, the hostages. They seem to have slipped my mind. Yes, we will try our best, definitely."
Uncharted Space

Sisters detonated all around, as the explosives found their mark. Some attempted to dodge the tracking weapons, while others formed a sphere to protect themselves, but it was useless as non were able to survive the salvo. Black liquid hung in space, floating in globules, as all that remained of the search party was lost. Meanwhile, the surprise particle cannon attack caught the nearest Temple off guard, shearing through it's left most shield arm, boiling off chunks of metal and evaporating key areas of the plate. No longer functional, it screamed, and re-coordinated it's defenses to compensate for the new weak spot.

As it's ablative armor charged for their next attack, the Cruiser fired off several Void Warheads, arching and spinning around each other as they curved and drew a line towards the attacking vessel, bright purple and dangerous looking. Each warhead sought out a specific target on the hull, in an attempt to cripple the ship, for these Temples were not equipped with the Stasis Field systems used to ensnare targets. As this species had never been encountered before, it was impossible to know how much damage they would do, if any at all.

The second Temple, meanwhile, converted itself to the standard Conduit ship, matrons forming the gravity well minefield around the vessel as they did at New Condia, and begin beaming a distress signal, to notify the Home Fleet of the new contacts.

Mars

Tiy beamed a warm smile at the onlookers, as Sage darted about them, floating up to them and studying them. "They don't see aliens very often, I am guessing?"

"Most likely, Sage. You should not scare them like that."

"But it's fun..."

"Back here. Now, Sage."

AS they joined back together, they suddenly registered screaming and panic through out the crowd, as the guards aimed weapons at various civilians. "What's going on? Are we under atta-" The Warden was cut off, as she was tackled to the ground and there was a deafening and violent explosion. Sage had floated out the way of the guard, and would have been blown to pieces by the explosion, if physical matter and energy had any effect on him. He watched the man explode, and floated down to notify the Warden. "They are attacking each other! But why!?"

She got up, and ran after the soldiers, feet pounding in the ground and magical energy wisping around her hand, ready to attack any ohter aggressors. "Not now. Get to the ship!"
I'll get back to you tomorrow. Partner's coming around ^^
Uncharted Space: Under The Microscope

Two forward shield plates began to extend and a swarm of Sisters were launched towards the vessel, but the Temple was cautious not to begin a firefight so quickly. After New Condia, and learning that the races in the galaxy at this time were inclined to be quite formidable, The Gathering used another advantage instead: Races were hesitant to open fire on non-contacted species without provocation. During this lull, it was possible to analyze them, study them, and hopefully learn of weaknesses. One unfortunate downside of this theory was just that - It was only a theory. And all theories need to be tested.

The Sisters surrounded various points of the ships, and swept sensors across the hull, weapons and other external systems available, compiling data in a slow, methodical manner. One Construct buzzed the bridge, and the being seemed confused. It could sense the organisms were there, but not see them, or any external visual systems. While windows were structural weaknesses, and it was safe to assume some space faring civilizations thought along those lines and not built them. But there were no sensory modules for sight, non at all. The Sister looked towards them, and flung out it's four orbiting blades to it's sides, hissing and metallic reverbs detectable along the hull. Then it flew off, losing interest.

Meanwhile, the other Temple had ceased operations, and prepared it's own weapons, ready to fight if they came this way.

Mars: Off World

As they all disembarked from the wheeled transport (which fascinated Sage to no end, that some space born races still used wheels), the two aliens were confronted by what appeared to be armed guards, who all bowed in a interesting and baffling manner to the aliens. "Well, I guess they don't completely trust us then..." Sage was not a fan of organisms with weapons.

Once they entered the room, the Warden stood to one end, smiling at the guards as they watched her every movement carefully. It didn't help that sher was almost nine feet tall, and she had to hunch a little to not hit her head on the ceiling. She removed her hood, and showed deep blue double irised eyes, large round lenses that seemed to make her friendlier in an unsettling way. In place of a mouth, she had three horizontal slits, one under the other and decreasing in size. They widened and closed as she breathed, and she had no nostrils to speak of, her face completely flat. Most fascinating of all, were the long, thick tubes coming off the back of her head, attached to her skin and intertwining among themselves, snaking into a bundle that went into her robes. They glowed slightly, and emanated a dull warmth.

"Right, now to get to business." Sage suddenly darted to a terminal, and a guard, startled, brought his gun to bear. "Whoah, eeeeaaaaasssy, boy." was all sage remarked, unheard by the guard. After an order was barked to let him continue, Sage got to work, analysing their language syntax, beams of light hitting various parts of the main body of the computer. He seemed baffled, however. "What's this, they lock down these things, even in the middle of nowhere? There is no way I could decipher it anytime soon. Are they expecting an attack or something?"

"Sage, the main monitor..." Tiy pointed, and showed him the scenes of victory and celebration, and the saddened faces of the captives, their despair obvious in the videos. "Ah. SO that explains that. Maybe." Sage turned, and ballooned a little at the Warden. "It seems they took those war like practices to the stars, as well. A fascinating circumstance. ANd distressing, too."

As another human pointed at herself and presumably other planets, making the sounds that probably were their names and worlds of interest, Sage commented yet again. "Iscandarian, that's an interesting name... Well, all is not lost. They are fighting each other, which means that the Yss haven't made themselves into a huge threat yet. There's still time to retrieve your Armor, and stop all this nonsense. And as long as these creatures aren't using magic, this should be a simple sweep."

"Agreed. Now, a way off world may prove difficult. I will ask them now." Tiy pointed to herself, and then the space plane, making weird, gurgling sounds out of her mouth in an attempt at speech. It sounded like "speasce phlune", and she made a flying motion, showing urgency in her actions.
