Bio

So, a bit about me then: First and foremost, I love to try and create imaginative and creative scenarios, that (I hope) push the very limits of reason and conventional thought. When I RP (mostly in NRPs) I aim to play powerful and big, things that are on the very edge of OP (I usually give my faction a ridiculous disadvantage though, to keep it fair). In other RPs, I tend towards Science Fiction and Modern Fantasy, playing side characters with some interesting quirks to them. I am also keen on trying some Arena RPing, when I get better at writing. Other things about me are that I work as a Mental Health Nurse (who would've guessed), and enjoy gaming and drawing as well. I also play trumpet on the side. I have a rough schedule, so I disappear for a couple of days sometimes. But never assume I am dropping out, I will tell you if I am thinking of it (unless it's really serious).

Yeah, kind of actually
Ethereals have two main advantages: immortality and multi role ships. They aren't afraid to be 'killed'. And their ships are able to change roles. Their main disadvantages are the long wind up from FTL travel, making them vulnerable at arrival destinations, and the fragility of their ships, due to not caring about losses
Basically, stalking you guys, with occasional confrontation. Think the G-Man from resident evil two ^^

He'll pop up occasionally, sometimes at the worst possible moment, to try and kill people. But I made his weaknesses obvious, so he can be chased off or even killed if you guys are clever enough
Virulence would be your specialty, dark. All it takes is a couple of shops and some biomass, and you're fucking everywhere XD
That's a good idea.

I'll put my main fleet advantages and specs up when I get home.
To be perfectly honest, I didn't read much of the other CS, or even the IC stuff. In retrospect, a poor decision on my behalf. If you had that role already filled with your character, then I am happy to make another. I have several ideas anyway ^^

EDIT: I read up on your character, but I understand if you have some plot going on. I won't interfere, I have some wandering to do anyways :D)
@wilson

" The cruiser got a shot off with it's Entropy Cannon, and then did something unexpected: Something shot out of its center, ripping through the body of the Ethereal vessel and continuing onwards to the Explorer, smashing through the hull where the beam had hit."

I'm pretty sure, whatever material your ship is made of, isn't entirely resistant to accelerated particle heat death (Entropy is the slow process of equilibrium stabilization in a given state such as a chemical reaction, or the entirety of existence. The Entropy cannon accelerates that in a smallish field, and decays particles into basic energy wave forms). I used that beam to weaken a section of armor (which would be similar to burning a hole through several sheets of thick cardboard), then fired a mysterious orb into it, smashing through the hole completely (Note: Didn't auto kill you. Normally this takes billions of years, but we use it as a weapon. Fucking crazy, huh?). Besides, you are fighting against a race which conquered the stars at around the same time your race discovered fire. So they might have tech your Nation wouldn't even understand. Not even the Iscandarians know how this stuff works (And, because I know you like to argue, this is all in my NS. Go look it up, if you don't believe me.)

It's not like you're even damaged, other than a hole which would be sealed via pressurized bulkheads on affected decks. My ship killed itself to fire that shot (Hint: Wow, that must be important then). So I suggest you go investigate what it is, and discover things in IC. If you have questions, feel free to PM me. But I won't argue with you here.

As for the Disruptor, it will have an effect. Just not one you would expect. I have been considering that about your race too, and thought it might be interesting to get into a fight with you and have you use it. It works very well, but in a different way, essentially.
I will read up on the IC, and decide what to do from there.
Name: Beezlebub ('Bub' to the local settlement)

Age: Unknown

Faction Alignment: Unaffiliated

History:

"In the darkness, things crawl and skitter among the dead. Some were once men, but now... Now, they belong to the Dark, and prey on those foolish enough to enter their Domain... Never, ever enter his labyrinth, not on a dare, not out of curiosity. Never go in there. "
-A Mother of two at King Street Settlement, warning her children never to enter the side tunnels to the sewer

At the King Street settlement, constant threats arise from the local bandits and minor KKK faction that has set up camp not too far away. In desperate need of resources, they tried to ambush the settlement via the branching maze of side tunnels that connect to the sewers. They were undeterred by the warnings of blood and skulls hung at the entrance, to keep intruders out. They entered the tunnels, and wandered into the realm of Beezlebub. That night, screams and gunfire were heard, and those who explored their depths were never seen again.

This had been a common occurrence for as long as King Street had been established, another fact of life in this strange and scary world. Sometimes, the presence in their was a guardian, defending the settlement from raiders, and other times, were stories of children taken away in their sleep, gone forever. Some say he is a government experiment, while others believe he is the spawn of Satan. What can be agreed on, though, is that he is becoming more daring with each day. Soon, he may decide to attack the camp entirely, and lay waste to the entirety of King Street.

In reality, Bub is running out of food. Having devoured anything that wanders into his labyrinth, he will soon be forced to find a new home, and terrify a host of others along the way. Though, it has been told that there are those who have conversed and even traded with him, and been given access to his vast horde of trophies and weapons gathered over the years. The thing is: Are you willing to strike a deal with the Devil himself?

Skills and Talents:
Radiation resistance - Bub is able to withstand more radiation than is considered normal, on account of his exoskeleton. This also leads to more resistance to weapons fire and general physical damage. Sustained fire will eventually kill him, though, and fire is deadly to him, causing him to run away.

Keen Night vision - His sight is greatly enhanced in the dark, though this means he detests the light, which causes pain and discomfort for him.

Night Crawler - He can climb up surfaces others normally couldn't, and lie in wait for prey to walk past in places no one would think to look (Ceilings, vents, etc.)

Equipment And Weapons:
-Claws, teeth, bone crushing strength. If that fails, though:
-A rusted pole with long spikes of various metal objects (railrod spikes, industrial nails, knives), used as a club in his upper arms.

Appearance: Tales say he stands at over twice the height of a normal adult human or anthro, with four arms and pointed legs. Chunks of armor, helmets, bones and weapons hang from it's back spines, trophies and kills Bub has accumulated over the decades. His skin is slimy blood red, and plated like an exoskeleton. His head sports dozens of tiny, black lenses in it's center, and his mouth is nothing but sharp fangs and mandibles that overcrowd and jut out his mouth, designed only to rip, kill and devour.

Location: (With the flames)
Uncharted System: Surprise attack

As the missiles collided with the partially shielded arms, the field broke and the plates splintered off, whirling into oblivion. Now the Temple had no armor, and was being slowly picked apart by the warship. The cruiser got a shot off with it's Entropy Cannon, and then did something unexpected: Something shot out of its center, ripping through the body of the Ethereal vessel and continuing onwards to the Explorer, smashing through the hull where the beam had hit. It ripped through two decks, before coming to a standstill in the top center of the enemy ship, a perfect sphere still smoking from it's high velocity impact. The Battered cruiser seemed to be offline now, and both Sisters and Matrons were leaving it in the dozens, flying towards and crawling around the outside of the Valkian ship.

Meanwhile, The Conduit Ship's micro gravity minefield intercepted most of the shots, destroying some of the Matrons supporting the field. Others around the moved to replace and extend the field as wide as possible, defending the cruiser as best as they could. Three or four of the slug rounds hit various armored points in the Ethereal vessel, blowing off chunks of it's armor. The light it produced from it's high energy signal flickered, but then regained strength. It was getting weaker, and still had no response from the Home Fleet.
