Name: Sheryl Kingsley
Nickname/Alias/Etc: Doppelganger
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Height: 5'5”
Weight: 128 lbs
Status: New student
Appearance
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Dull blue
Ethnicity: Half Chinese, half English
Physical Appearance: Sheryl is constantly smiling because she genuinely is a happy person (and smiling makes her more approachable). She's demure for her age; she wouldn't be considered muscular, but she wouldn't be called flabby. She is a leggy girl with most of her height, as well as her strength, being in her lower body, resulting in her running competitively in her youth. Her figure is rather lacking in that her breasts are rather small and her butt could hardly be called the ideal “booty,” but she doesn't really mind. She has other aspects of her that make up for it. Her Chinese mother gave her straight black hair as well as slightly tanned and blemish free skin. Sheryl tends to style her shoulder length hair to be half up in the back, leaving her bangs out freely. Her English father gave her almond shaped, dull blue eyes. She has an oblong face with a large forehead and an aquiline nose. Her mouth is medium sized with her bottom lip being fuller than her upper one. Her facial features are soft and makes her look kind and friendly. She has been called cute and charming, but not stunning or gorgeous.
Attire: Her heritage has influenced her clothing style. In the more stereotypical and outdated clothes...
Oriental: high-collared necks on her shirts and dresses, silk clothes, soft-soled shoes, moderately tight black or white pants, etc.
English: bow ties, trench coats, scarves, boots that go up to her knee, tweed jackets, etc.
Personality
Outward & Innate Personality: Sheryl loves people. Being surrounded by them, interacting with them, making them smile; if she could only be competent at one thing, she would choose to be charismatic and sociable. Extroverted and outgoing, she likes going out and doing things with other people even if they weren't things she would go do by herself. She's quite childish and boisterous, and so has no shame doing things that some would consider odd in public; she also isn't adverse to tricking others once in a while. She wants to be respectable yet approachable to everybody she meets and does this with an almost obfuscating kindness. Her life motto, in regards to others, is: "Confuse them with kindness. If you can't, baffle them with your bullsh*t." Her doing this made it seem like she wouldn't stand up for herself when insulted, but she takes it without really noticing it being directed at her. At times it seems like she isn't paying attention to what's going on, like she's in another place. This tends to annoy people who try to talk to her as she doesn't focus on what they say and blindly agrees to things. This has gotten her into promising to do things for others wither her knowledge of it ever being promised. She is asexual.
Hobbies/Interests: A fan of both anthropology and psychology, Sheryl enjoys people watching; nothing like analysis and deduction, just observing others. She travels a lot as well.
Skills/Talents: Her memory is impeccable. Sheryl can recall most, sometimes all, of something she read or heard beforehand. It's only gotten as good as it is currently from constantly pseudo-quizzing herself on books and movies. Multi-tasking she had to learn to master and she can do that pretty well now. She used to run competitively in high school and continues running now for leisure. Her social skills are the best and she can consider most people she's ever had a longish conversation as a friend or warm acquaintance.
Prized Possession: She doesn't really have one.
Quote(s):
“Prepare for trouble! And make it double! … It's actually quadruple but it doesn't really have the same ring, does it?”
History/Bio: Sheryl Kingsley was born to a moderately wealthy family. She studied from a young age and was a happy, intelligent little girl. Her father was loving and her mother was loving. Her mother was also fond of binge drinking. By the time Sheryl was six, Dottie Hou Kingsley's liver wasn't what would be considered healthy. She developed Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome that was not treated fast enough. This led to a night where Sheryl's mother hallucinated something terrible and lashed out viciously at her father in her confused mental state. Little Sheryl was not a witness to any of this as she was sound asleep in her room. Her mother passed out from exhaustion and the amnesia kicked in. Sheryl woke up the next morning to find her father mildly injured and her mother passed out. She did the logical thing of screaming in terror. She was alone in her home with her parents as good as gone and she did not like that feeling of nobody there, leading to her personality of seeking out people as she grew up. Her mother awoke with no recollection of what happened in the onset of her disorder and, in a moment of lucidity, called the police.
Sheryl was shipped off to the Baines family a few days later with her father in a coma and her mother in the hospital. She attended therapy for roughly two years and has sort of gotten over her family's destruction. The Baines were a wealthy and infertile couple that took to adopting. They adopted her with open arms. She took to being around friends and a large family cheerfully. Sheryl became fond of the scientific and biological texts found in the library and took to reading and constantly talking about it to her new family. When she was twelve, the anniversary of the day the Kingsley family became disbanded rolled around and she was busy but still wanted to visit them. She had to make the choice of visiting her father or her mother and could not decide. Her powers kicked in and decided for her. She understood what made up the human body by that time and she knew her who she was as a person and so she made a double of herself. Luckily, she was still fretting about her decision in her room since her double was not clothed. Sheryl didn't know what her clothes were made at that time and they didn't replicate themselves onto her double.
Finding out she could replicate things took a backseat to her finding clothes for herself. Sheryl found out, after flickering visions of her room from different angles, that the double shared her attention. Everything was based on convenience regarding her double. If she wanted to pick up the shirt closer to her double, her double would pick it up instead as her double was technically herself. It took a while for her to get used to it, but she did.
Sherlyl learned that to replicate things she had to know what it was made of and took to always finding out what every object she came into contact with was. She also learned that she had to know a person like they knew themselves as well as what made up a human body to replicate them. She told the Baines household this and was met with surprise and groans as that meant that they had to deal with two of her. Olivia Baines had the power to make wine out of water. Noah Baines had the power of finding out a building or object's schematics. Many jokes were made that day.

Abilities
Power Class: Other 6
Power: Replicate. Sheryl has the ability to replicate things. She can have an object on the table and after some concentration, there would be an exact copy. The most common usage of her power is having her replicate herself. These doubles, they would be her in every sense because they aren't puppets that she controls, but rather another one of herself. There is no distance limitation to how far apart the doubles have to be, but they have to be within touching distance to be called back; only the original body can call back doubles. She has mastered having up to four of herself replicated at one time. Her focus shifts from one body to the other and if she wanted, she could make one of her doubles into her original body by shifiting all of her focus onto it. Doing that is painful though and would be disorienting.
Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: To replicate an inanimate object, Sheryl has to have a full understanding of what makes it up on the inside. She can not just look at something and replicate it in working condition; if she were to do that, it would only be a shell of the object and be unusable. For living beings (i.e. herself) she most know what the human body is made up of as well as know that other person as well as they knew themselves. When making doubles of herself, she is stretching out her mind to different vessels and if she replicates too many... Well her mind will be stretched too much and will snap.
