By coincidence, I was just today looking here after months of not RPing. Are we making this again? How many times does it make it now?
@NadareRyuAh... It's a shame, but, although I really like Izelis, and the subplot I had in mind for him, I found myself really uninspired when it came to actually getting him to be involved in the events. Hmm, guess I'll at least go and check what happens over there as well...
I will work on a character sheet tomorrow... Meanwhile, to get my thoughts organized, I decided to do this yet again... Yes, I will never, ever, stop.

"Not to worry"? "Everything is gonna be fine"? In such a situation as finding their senpai smiling calmly amid a sea of blood, who could even have such relaxing thoughts? Rather, anyone able to smile in such a situation must be deviating too far from any definitions of normal. That made me even more scared. It wasn't even surprising that the thing shaped like Kirima-senpai would charge at me.

Since when it rains, it pours, any action I could have taken was halted by me suddenly hearing a familiar voice from behind. I could not, nor needed to, turn around to confirm who it was. Why, of all possible moments had Mei decided to appear right now and here? I was completely frozen in place. Could I stop the senpai-beast and protect her? Such useless thoughts led to further inaction, which led to even more weird turn of events as the previously kidnapped girl suddenly appeared and attempted to speak with Kirima-senpai and a young man who was among the hostages seemed to push me aside and get right in front of the charging Kirima-senpai. What was with this place and people trying to be heroes? Rather, was he gonna be fine facing the giant?! If this person was going to fight Kirima-senpai, I might as well help him somehow. I readied myself. If needed, I would reach out with my hand and lightly tap the unknown hero wannabe's back. if I could cast my recovery spell, that would give him a (small) temporary boost of speed through magical means.

Mocha Dreams Nightmare

Nothing is ever so weird that it cannot get weirder. Surely that was true for this city. What used to be just the coffee place I had visited a couple of times before had somehow turned into a battlefield. It felt as if I had been thrown inside the weirdest nightmare, though I was pretty sure this was still reality. Probably.

Fighting had broken out in the hall thanks to a new arrival, while the group which had been the hostages quickly divided into people fighting and people running. The fact that this kind of stuff could happen certainly showed how far detached from normal reality we were. Of course, I too decided to act stupidly. While the battle raged on the main hall, I dashed further into the coffee. Kirima-senpai had been taken there earlier, and the semblance of a plan forming in my mind involved getting him out of there, then rallying the people still in the hall and getting out of that place before it got worse, as it inevitably would. Not the best plan, but a plan none the less. Anti-skill could mop up the bandits after we were all out.

With these thoughts, I run through the doorway into a smal corridor of sorts. Since nothing in life can ever be easy, of course one of these clowns was just standing right there, and of course he had some sort of rifle straight out of a videogame, leaving me with no real choice but to improvise some way to fight him.

In that split second when our eyes met, he raised his gun towards me, while the seven steel wires that had been previously hidden within my clothes flew off. As he pushed the trigger, the wires firmly wrapped themselves around his weapon and I raised my left hand, said wires following the motion and jerking the weapon upwards as well. That did not have the intended effect of yanking the weapon out of his hands as I had intended, but it did have the effect of making the stream of bullets hit the ceiling rather than me. My plan not having worked so well, I dashed towards him, clenching my right hand into a fist and punching his neck, which seemed like the most vulnerable spot I could hit. That also did not work as well I had hoped, as instead of gasping for air he retaliated by hitting the side of my head with the back of his right fist. I instinctively took a step back. I was running out of options, so I did something I did not wish to do. With a quick movement from both of my hands, the wires that had been grasping his weapon let go of it. The bandit seemed surprised and attempted to turn his weapon towards me again, but this movement was cut short by the sudden pressure building on his neck, from the seven wires constricting it tightly. I felt terribly guilty as I saw him drop his weapon and attempt a futile struggle to stop the wires from choking him.

As he stopped struggling, I immediately loosened the grip and let him hit the floor. A quick look told me the bandit was still breathing, thankfully, but would also hopefully be out of the fight. I had more pressing matters now, the police would take care of him. Now, to get Kirima-senpai. I opened the door to what I guessed was the storage room. Hopefully giant-san would be there.

The scene taking place inside the storage room made me feel like my nightmare had been finally pumped up to eleven. Certainly, a blood splattered room with bits of people lying around was a fairly accurate depiction of what hell would look like. The fact that Kirima-senpai, easily distinguishable by his size was among it did not ease me in the slightest. Rather, it would not be weird if he were actually to reveal himself as a demon at that moment. "...Kirima-senpai... What happened here?!" I should probably have been worried about my upperclassman. That would have been the right thing to do, but rather, I was terrified by him. What had he done? Or rather, what kind of monster was he? My hands unconsciously trembled and moved. The wires, still being manipulated by them, flowed freely and slashed at the walls near where I stood. The adrenaline levels were still high. My body was certainly classifying that "thing" in front of me as a threat. "What did you do?!"

It was frankly a bit weird for me to be suddenly offered help from both giant-san and the glasses girl out of the blue, considering we were just people who happened to be in the same school. Still, I was happy. After noticing that I had grabbed Ria's arm in my bout of worry, I let go, feeling just a bit ashamed for losing my cool for a second.

When I noticed the arrival of the violin girl also out of the blue, I experienced a sinking feeling. I had planned on properly speaking with her later, not among classmates and strangers. And why was she here of all places? Was there no limits to the coincidences of this cafe? "Hi. Uhm. I'm Nishihara Kei." I spoke a bit meekly, wondering how to admit my wrong doings. "I was the one sketching you this morning. Sorry..." Not really an apology, but it was all that I could think of on the spot while simultaneously worrying about my cousin.

In the meanwhile, a girl I did not know this time (thankfully!) came over to reprehend Ria and glasses girl. As expected, they were probably gonna delay the service of the café by chatting with us. Though, I could not help but feel annoyed. Right now, getting to Ria to talk was a priority for me, whether or not the orders were delayed was secondary. However, Ria, being the insane Ice Stripper she is, decided to take the opportunity to leave us and her work, unanswered questions remaining unanswered. "What do I do now...?" I muttered to no one in particular, wondering how to proceed. I could try phoning some of my relatives to verify the situation, but it would have been much easier if Ria had just told me what she knew. At least I probably would have the help of giant-san and glasses girl.

Then all hell broke loose yet again. Of course, in this city, a kidnapped cousing was not bad enough for a single day. Suddenly, a man dragged glasses girl away while people in bizarre outfits appeared. I could only watch as these bizarre criminals waved guns around. It would seem in this city even the criminals were something straight out of comic books. If they weren't criminals, I would applaud their courage for storming into somewhere like that. If they had been just a couple of minutes earlier, they would have stumbled upon Ria. Once again, that ice stripper was never where we needed her.

"Keep your head cool..." There probably wasn't anything that I could do as the clowns started taking the belongings of people. Having my things taken from me was most uncomfortable. Luckily, they did not seem to notice (or care for) the silver cross underneath my clothes, nor the secret pockets sewn inside my clothes holding my seven steel wires. Judging from what I could see, the clowns had quite a number of people, with some of them having guns. That chainsaw turned towards us was also fairly scary.

To make matters worse, Kirima-senpai turned out to be less logical than I had expected and decided to enact violence upon the clowns. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists while watching, just hoping I could help him somehow as another clown attacked him from behind. It was just like the Ghoul incident yet again. Completely powerless. All I could do for giant-san was take care of his injuries when this was over. Pathetic for a magician.

As giant-san was being dragged away, a thought ocurred to me. I still had my wires. If I could just, instead of setting them in place, send them lashing out forward... They were magically enhanced, they could probably cut through the clowns and save Kirima-senpai. Then I could redirect them towards the other criminals, taking them out and leading the hostages into safety away from that place. A second after, I caught myself wondering why I was thinking that. I was no good with the offensive uses of the wires, so, if my technique worked, I'd have no proper control over them, and the criminals might be killed. Still, a little part of me remembered the Ghoul and thought that maybe it would be better to kill criminals before they killed inoccent people.

Either way, I needed to cool my head. I was about to do something stupid just like Kirima-senpai. I simply waited and watched. I couldn't go after giant-san to check if he was okay, nor could I ensure the other people's safety if I tried something reckless, so all that remained for me was waiting for any opportunity to get my fellow hostages out of here. And pray that these clowns needed all the hostages alive and well.

Mocha Dreams

So, here we were, Mocha Dreams. I was sitting on table near the window, across from me sat giant-san, Kirima-senpai, and we waited for someone who would take our order. Slowly, I noticed that the waitress aproaching us was familiar, but only realized it when she asked us our order, seeming very nervous for some reason. I guessed it was the clothes. "Ah, you're the glasses girl from this morning." Kirima-senpai's not-girlfriend also called me artist-kun. Had she also noticed my sketches...? That actually gave more urgency to talking with the violinist later.

As I was figuring out whether to just order normally or turn this into a conversation (probably not advised since glasses girl was working), my mind was captured by Ria suddenly appearing behind glasses girl and harassing her. Ice delinquent was ice delinquent after all, could that be her way of greeting co-workers? "What was that for?" Ria's "greeting" could not have been nice to the nervous girl.

The ice delinquent apparently decided that she needed to speak with us, and sat down at our table, while I wondered if that was all normal behavior for her. Considering her habits, it probably was. "My cousin...?" I stopped to think for a moment. There was a fairly distant branch of the family with which I had little contact. I though they did have children close to my age. Was that what Ria was taking about? "How did you come to know of this? Which one of them was kidnapped?" I unconsciously grabbed Ria's arm, feeling now nervous myself. Even though they were relatives which I barely knew, if someone was kidnapped, I really needed to do something.
@chukklehed Yes, we do. Right here.

Also, taking this opportunity to repost my list. I'll update it soon.

It would seem the pad went offline. Or was it just me?
@Masaki Haruna, I might be a bit at a loss. I am aware that I should avoid getting Kei involved in the Nishikara Wendy arc, since he's not suposed to be there, but, I was currently collabing with Grey in a way that might get both Sasaki and Kei to Mocha Dreams. Is that troublesome? Should I divert Kei elsewhere?
