Lena looked around wildly to find the owner of the arrow. Her eyes bugged out as she realized it was Ryder. She leapt for the crossbow, landing heavy on the wood of the cart. Her hand stopped it from rolling off the edge and she picked it up, rolling onto her knees and raising it.

Triston looked at the goblin standing in front of his horse. Goliath snorted at him as if he was offended, and the goblin moved towards them, sword raised. Triston removed his foot from the stirrup and kicked the goblin backwards. He laughed as the tiny thing stumbled almost falling and received an arrow in his back from his sister who was standing in the back of the wagon. The arrow stuck from his back and the goblin turned, only enraged.

"I hate crossbows," Lena grumbled, as she watched her brother dismount and lunge at the goblin. They tussled for a minute, until Triston wrenched the goblin's sword from his hand and impaled him with it. The goblin fell to the ground and Triston looked at the sword. It was too small for him, but it would do nicely for the minute.

Lena moved to her horse, still tied to the wagon and grabbed her own bow and one arrow. She put the arrow in the bow and pulled back, aiming for the goblin fighting with Nicholas. It took a minute to get a clear shot and she let it fly, aiming for the goblins neck.
Cameron watched her move into the kitchen, turning on the carpet to keep his eyes on her. Ah, he'd hit a nerve, he mused. He managed to keep a slow smile from creeping over his face. Yes, in fact he did feel as if she was breaking his heart. But why? He wasn't in love with her. That much was true. Did he have feelings for her? Of course. Absolutely. There was no denying that fact. A fact he could deny however, was having feelings for Sierra first. He would probably deny that for the rest of his life simply because they couldn't be real feelings. It was a mix of guilt and lust. He couldn't have her anymore therefore he wanted her more than ever. Pining over a dead girl. Story of his life.

When Andie finished talking, Cameron hauled himself up off of the floor and followed her path into the kitchen. He moved slowly, trying to pick his next words carefully. He didn't look over at her, or move to take her hands. He just walked around the counter, trailing his fingertips over the top. He stopped, tapping the countertop lightly a few times. He opened his mouth and then promptly shut it, shaking his head. That wasn't the way he wanted to start talking. She was standing next to a very heavy tea pot, he'd have to be delicate.

"I'm proud of the fact that you managed to tell me," He said, still studying the countertop, "And I hope that you can forgive me for breaking your heart," He paused looking at her now only to add, "I may not love you yet but I do care, Andie I left school, I'm pretty sure we had a chemistry test today too..." He let his gaze wander around the small apartment, "I wonder what kind of punishment I'll get..." He said absentmindedly. His gaze flicked back to her sharply, as if he'd just remembered that they were in a very serious conversation. He gave a heavy sigh and looked up at the ceiling for a minute. All this mushy feeling sharing had him feeling uncomfortable and bare. He didn't care for sharing feelings. Any feelings really, except happiness, anger was hard for him to show even.

"I wish you would stay, but you should be happy too," He said. He lifted his hands like a scale and moved them up and down before shrugging and dropping them back to the countertop.
"What in the hell is wrong with you?!" Alex screamed, throwing her hands in the air, "You were supposed to make these orders last week, did you fall and smack your little head on the sidewalk?!" She bellowed. She sighed, rubbing her pale face.

"Make the orders Dan, and pray that we don't run out of beer," She said, walking away from the bar. She left Dan, their bartender trembling in his boots. He hurried to the back room to make the orders, phone in one hand, order sheet in the other. Alex walked across the bar, her black stilettos clicking on the floor as she went. She flicked her long, dark hair over her shoulders, irritation apparent on her face. Her bright red lips were pursed, and her blue eyes were fading to their normal deep green. She passed a window, catching herself in the reflection. Her short shorts and white halter top were overly flattering. Not her normal dress. She prefered dark jeans, sensible boots and a leather jacket over a tank top, but running a topless bar made her have to dress the part. She wondered idly where her sister had gotten off too, but she didn't worry too much about it. They opened in about half an hour, she'd be here.

Alex let herself into the back room, met with naked women. She sighed, still uncomfortable with how these women projected themselves. She didn't have a problem with any of the girls that worked for her, but sometimes she got really tired of seeing other women's boobs every day. Alex closed the door behind her and crossed her arms over her chest, inspecting the girls as they got ready for their shifts.

"We open in half an hour ladies, wrap it up," She said simply and then walked across the room and through another door. This led to the back, where the managers office was, one that Alex shared with her sister. She let herself in and sat down in a chair, rubbing her temples and kicking off her heels. They were terribly uncomfortable. Her small toes stretched, popping as they did so, and she buried them into the deep throw rug under the desk.
Boop
Lena watched the Kato scramble out of sight, she narrowed her eyes at him and went to reach for him, but found a sword tip in her way. She growled audibly, her eyes dancing with anger and desperation as she looked at the goblin. She refused, not vocally, she just simply didn't move.

"We are Knights of Rexil," Triston said, "We also have an injured man in the cart who needs a healer," He said, praying that Lena would stay still. He was surprised that she hadn't leapt from the cart and attacked the goblin, yet. She looked like she wanted to murder someone and the goblin was standing in her line of fire. Maybe if they were humans Lena wouldn't have hesitated. Humans were more fragile than goblins, easier to kill simply because of their weak bones and pressure points. Breaking a goblins neck required upper body strength that Lena didn't possess on a normal day. Perhaps if she had some leverage, or some kind of momentum, but no, she couldn't do it with just her muscles. Maybe she'd wait to see what the goblins had to say....
Cameron had a whole speech lined out for Andie when she opened the door. However, when she did and he stepped inside, seeing the boxes spread out over the floor, he lost it. The whole speech just went 'poof!' right out of his head. He closed the door behind him and then walked into the living room. He didn't sit down, but he did drop his books and soccer ball on the couch. She started talking, and he listened, trying to remember everything that he had been running through his head just moments ago. His eyes narrowed as he thought.

"You don't have to apologize," He said, he sat down across from her on the floor, taking a book off of the coffee table. He turned it over in his hands as if it held the secret to whatever the question was. He frowned, setting the book back down on the coffee table.

"I think you should do what you want to do," He said quietly, leaning back and looking at the television screen. His face was blank, perhaps a little upset, a slight furrow of his brow, a tiny pout on his lips. He shrugged.

"I mean, I can't stop you, you seem pretty determined to run away, I'm not sure if it's because of...what happened, or because you told me you loved me in the same conversation that you told me you were leaving, that doesn't make sense," He said glancing over at her, "Not that you love me because," He paused, gesturing to himself with a wry smile, "But telling me and then leaving," He said, becoming serious again. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to break my heart," He said, looking back at the tv. He watched the actors walk across the screen. Something dramatic was going on, he wasn't really following but the overall tone was teetering on the edge of dramatic and heartbreaking. How appropriate.
Cameron sighed wandering into his chemistry class, he looked up from the ground at his normal lab table and frowned. It was empty. Was she leaving now? Today? There was no way, she would have told him before that...right? He stood for a moment, in the doorway of the classroom, considering his options. He turned and walked back down the hall, straight for the doors. Where would she go? Back home probably, she'd have to get her things before she left. He didn't want her to leave, he wished she would stay. His feelings for her, well, those were undefined as of right now, but he still wanted her to stay. She'd stay if he asked...right? He walked down the sidewalk, across the street and towards the building, hoping that she was there. She'd definitely be there right?

Books in one hand, soccer ball in the other, he let himself into the building, and made his way up the stairs. His parents would be very angry that he'd just walked out of school. His mom more so than his dad. He could explain this to his dad, but his mom wouldn't understand. Would she? He sighed and stopped outside Andie's door. He shifted his books to his other arm, balancing his soccer ball and the books with the experience of a seasoned soccer player. He raised his other hand and knocked on the door, his heart hammering in his chest and his breath coming in short bursts.
lol Lena would probably kill him....just sayin' <.< >.>
Really? I don't think I have anything in common with my characters....'cept one is a girl, I'm a girl, bam, similarities
Cameron sighed as he felt her arms around his neck. He stopped walking, looking down at his sneakers. He listened to her, as she walked around him and hugged him. He closed one arm around her, the other was closed over a soccer ball of course. He listened to her speak, telling him that she had wanted to run away together. How ironic, he thought to himself. He looked at her, a mixture of confusion and pain written on his face. She had liked him? How had he missed that? His brain wasn't comprehending that right. He couldn't be comprehending that right. He watched her leave, wait did she just say love? He tried to form words to make her stop and turn around, but all that came out of his was mouth air. He blinked as the bell rang, shocking him into reality. Kind of.

He rubbed the back of his neck, a nervous tick he'd developed from watching his father and continued down the hallway. He needed to go for a run, after school he'd have Dylan take his stuff home and he would go to the park, run for a bit. She'd probably want to go with him, he'd have to think of an excuse....maybe he'd just tell her what happened. She was a girl, she might be able to help him. He cringed at the idea, but it was better than talking to his mother and Sierra....he couldn't talk to Sierra anymore.
