Hello everyone! It has been too long since I last posted here, and I must admit that I have missed it. I passed my Post Graduate exams and I am on my way to two years of much learning but limited time. But fear not, I find it impossible to give up on writing! As some of you might have guessed, History is one of my great passions in life, and I enjoy settings that involve it quite a lot. Victorian and Edwardian Europe are what I know best writing wise, but I would be love to learn about other cultures and continents, preferably between 1812 and 1914. If you enjoy the feel of an era but are not so sure about accuracy, I would be happy to help. Or we can turn any historical setting into our own creation with a dash of extra fantasy, steam boats and alchemy in a metropolis of a vast world. The same goes for Medieval Fantasy, another favourite of mine. There may not be dragons or filthy little ghouls, but I have no objection to a syphilitic King embarking on a war against... Well, you get my drift. I only work with Modern settings on rare occasions, but it never hurt to throw a thought my way, did it? Now to the less interesting stuff: I am above the age of 18 and as such, I would prefer partners above or very close to that age limit. While I am not writing smut, my characters are adults that get themselves into various mature situations and deal with mature themes that play a role in their daily life. I enjoy creating both men and women and would humbly ask you to do the same, at least on a level of secondary characters. There are going to be at least a few. Word count does not make a past worth reading, but please do not send me anything less than two, well thought out paragraphs and I will return the courtesy. My characters are always entirely human, faulted adults, usually older than 24, without any superpowers. Anthros, giggly schoolgirls, euphoric Vampires and timid princes are not my cup of tea, no offense meant. I have experience only with MXF pairings. Not that there is anything wrong or too different with boys that love boys and girls that love girls anyway. I see playing with words as a passion and a post time and I enjoy it immensely, but I know it is a hobby. As a new stage of my life begins, I may have less time. Fear not though, as I am most willing to work on personalized writing schedules with each of my partners to keep us both happy. If you do not like the story, tell me and we can still be buddies! I will do the same. Do not stress and do not hurry with posts, but please talk to me. I love planning everything, discussing our brain child and getting to know my fellow writers and friends. Oh, I do only a few Fandoms: Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful and the Knick. And just about any Victorian novel. Only thing I know nothing about is Anime. Hmmm, I think that was all. If you made it this far, have a cookie and a hug, and do not forget to post here or PM me to get this started. Thank you all!
I am looking for Historical RPs as well.
Bump!

Good evening friends, and welcome to my thread!

I find myself oddly craving RPs based on previously established universes, although we might come up with something similar ourselves. My expectations have not changed and I will do my best to meet them myself: solid characters and realism, secondary characters, lack of fluff and self fulfillment, as well as good communication.

I will play both Canon and Original characters, men and women, humbly asking you to do the same. I will not list specific pairing either because that is never definite in my head.

I would love you forever if we could do:

A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones)
Penny Dreadful
Wolf Hall (book)
Vanity Fair (BBC version)
Call the Midwife (BBC)

There are many more, they just don't come to find right now. Thank you all for your time. :) PM or reply here and let us start!
