Bio

Hello~ My screen name is LadyTale, but you can call me Tale. You can also call me Chaos, if you wish. There's a bit of a story behind that nickname, but it's not one I'm likely to share. It would take too long, anyway.

I'll participate in many genres of RPs, but there are a few I avoid. Some of my favorite genres are fantasy and action/adventure, although I also like sci-fi and romance, up to a point.

I read a lot of fanfiction. An almost ridiculous amount of fanfiction, actually. If there are any fandom RPs out there for the fandoms I'm interested in, I'll most likely join.

In conclusion, I am Sherlocked, a member of Loki's Army, a Whovian, and an anime lover.

Name: Hylil
Age: somewhere in her 320's
Gender: Female
Species: Elf

Physical Description:
Hylil is fair to look at, with her tanned skin and black hair. She's not the greatest beauty of the elves, though; her lithe body is muscled and her hands are callused, the build and hands of a warrior. Her fierce grey eyes have been known to frighten men with their intensity. She's tall, even for an elf, standing at exactly 7 feet tall.

Skillset:
Hylil is a warrior, plain and simple. Put a sword in her hand and there's no one fiercer. She's competent with almost every kind of sword; only the rapier will she never touch. Her preferred weapon is a hand-and-a-half sword of elvish design; this is the weapon she has the most skill with, and is the one she most often uses.
Like any elf, Hylil is a skilled tracker and can survive in the woods indefinitely. She can start a fire, build a shelter, forage, and hunt, as well as skinning and cooking her kill.

History:
A born warrior in a society that would have her stay at home and play the harp, Hylil was very much an outsider; at least, in the beginning. She befriended a group of girls who also wanted to be warriors, and they trained and fought together until they gained the respect of the elf-men. It was an uphill battle, but they never gave up. Eventually, they gained a reputation as shieldmaidens.

In time, however, the group disbanded; some left to travel the world, some joined the Guard, and some found husbands. Hylil was one of those who left to travel. She wanted to see all there was to see, and to test her blade against masters of other styles. That was 50 years ago, and she has still not seen everything. Her bladework has greatly improved, however, with the addition of other sword styles.

Psychological Profile:
Hylil is, in a word, stubborn. Once she's started something, she will see it through to the end, come hell or high water. She's fierce, determined, and independent, with a quick temper at times. It takes a lot for her to control her temper, and she'll probably want to fight someone afterwards.

Equipment:

  • Hand-and-a-half sword - Hylil's favored weapon, named Rothruin
  • Armor - Hylil's suit of armor, light and elven-forged. It is both durable and comfortable.
  • Bag - a messenger bag made of leather, filled with travel food, a flint and steel, and a change of clothing.
  • Knife - Hylil's hunting knife, usually kept belted at her waist.
  • Herbs - a small pouch of elvish herbs, kept in her messenger bag. The herbs can be prepared to encourage healing, ease pain, aid sleep, or fight infection.
"I'll join you after this duel, if it please you." Niamh inclined her head to the thief, a slight smile on her face. "For now, a good fight is the perfect thing to relieve my boredom." Returning her attention to the swordsman she was about to face, she nodded once in acceptance of his terms. "Very well. Shall we begin?"
@Lightbox I'd prefer to keep swearing to a minimum. I'm okay with a bit of it, but not too much. Basically, don't swear every other sentence and we'll be fine.~
TsuMeTai turned away from the former battle site, sheathing his sword as he did so. "Because you ask it, I'll let them live. If I see them attacking a player again, I'll not stay my blade." He said over his shoulder, keen eyes looking over the newcomers.

"Well, aren't you nice." Kip said sarcastically to the one with the hand-and-a-half sword. "NPCs or not, they still have a life in this game." Then her eyes strayed to his health bar, and the name by it. She smirked. "Oh. Oh my gods. You're really trying to live up to your name, aren't you? TsuMeTai, Marked General of Zot."

Did she just? "Like you're one to talk, Kip OMEGA." TsuMeTai let a small smile curve his lips, and he extended a hand. "Nice to meet a fellow fan of old webcomics."

Kip accepted his hand, shaking it firmly. "Pleasure." She agreed with a grin. "Now, shall we help your friend with those monsters?"

"We shall." Together, the two rushed the beasts, swords flashing through the air before scoring their hits.
@WilsonTurner XD Well, I certainly appreciate your enthusiasm! ~quip~
@Lightbox Accepted~ Please move Emperor to the character page.
Welcome, weary writers, to the Break Room!

We call it a room, but it's really a mansion. Anything you can think of, it's here. Stables, a library, a movie theater, a video game room, a petting zoo, heck, even a recording studio. The entire top floor is like the biggest food court ever created. Any restaurant you can think of, it's up there somewhere. And of course, there are luxuriant bedrooms, for when someone just needs a nap.

What's more, there's a type of magic around this place. If you think of a certain place before you open a door, that door will open onto the place you thought off. The mansion is bigger on the inside, and appears to everyone how they want it to be. Some see a modern-style building. Some see a Victorian house. Some see a medieval castle. It all depends.

All in all, the Break Room is just a place for writers to hang out. Unwind. Forget about the stress of real life for a while. Want to binge-watch Doctor Who? You can do that. Want to finally read that Terry Pratchett book? You can do that, too. Want all of that, with ice cream on the side? No problem. We got you covered. Just want someone to talk to, someone to bounce ideas off of? Chances are, there's another writer here who'll be glad to help out.

So why wait? Visit the Break Room today.
But do I have your axe?

Well, you would if I had an axe. However, I can offer you my bow.~

Name: Selene
Age: 21
Rank: Princess
Personality: Selene is a gentle, kind, and courteous lady. She seems to be the image of the perfect princess. She never says a mean word to anyone, she carries herself with grace and dignity, and she always has a gentle smile for anyone.
History: As the only daughter of the king and queen, one would think that Selene would be spoiled rotten. They would be wrong. Selene was raised as her mother was, to be a princess worthy of the title; to be graceful, kind, and gentle to all. Her lessons were helped by her naturally quiet deposition. She is a princess loved by all who meet her.

Unfortunately, all is not well for Selene. Diagnosed as a young child with an incurable disease, she was often confined to her bed during her younger years. Now, as a young adult, she seems to be getting better; however, the court physician has warned her to be careful. The disease may seem to be disappearing, but it could return at any time.
Extra: Selene is proficient at knitting, and can often be found with her hands busy making some useful thing for her family.

Name: Diego de Silvan y Correz
Age: 23
Rank: Count
Personality: At first impression, Diego seems to be a bit of a fop. He truly cares about the people under his rule, however, and is a master swordsman.
History: Diego is the result of the joining of two noble families, with the marriage of the Count y Correz and the Countess de Silvan. He has two younger sisters, whom he adores. With the sword skills he learned from his father, he happily chases away any suitors he deems unworthy of his sisters, which are most of them. Occasionally, Diego follows his father's example and disguises himself to go among his people, to see how they truly feel about their Count and Countess.
Extra: Deigo's sword skills are second only to his father's, and his mother has taught him to be a perfect gentleman. Some people make the mistake of dismissing him as not a danger; those people find themselves sorely mistaken. Literally, sorely.
Interesting, very interesting. You have my support.
