Brand moved away from Z's touch, walking over to where he left his backpack and picked it up, following Ace with out a word. Lukas glanced at Brand, and then to Z. He picked up his duffel bag, walking past Z. "I think he's just a little frustrated, it has been a long day." He whispered to her before following Brand.
Ryan had seen a lot of messed up and freaky things in his time as a superhero, but this definitely made him the most uncomfortable. The sight of his broken mother was the absolute worst thing he could ever witness. "I'll be fine." Ryan replied, making himself vibrate even more as he felt more electricity in the air. He was just a crouching blur at this point. "But you're not. Please, Mama, you're really going to hurt yourself doing this." He muttered, gesturing to what she was doing. "I know it's really hard, but you have to calm down. Dad wouldn't want you to be like this..."
Brand stood there, not looking at Lukas, Z, or anyone else. Samuel looked at Ashe with pleading puppy dog eyes. Dessie also looked at Ashe with wide eyes. Ashe groaned, rolling her eyes. "Fine, fineee." She complained, pushing away from the wall and walked towards the exit of the room.

Samuel zipped away from his airy perch over towards Lukas with glowing hands. Lukas looked up and allowed the little boy to heal him. He watched as Dessie put her feet onto the ground and walked over. "We'll let you sweeties be for that part." She said, putting her hand on Samuel's shoulders as she stood behind him. "Come on, hun, let's go see what lunch is going to be." the Magic girl suggested as her forum melted away, the jewel pin in her pocket.

Samuel nodded, looking to Ace. "If you requiring my assistance, I will be located in the kitchen!" He said, grinning, before taking Dessie's hand and they left, him floating next to Dessie.
Brand looked to the others. How were they doing that. He frowned, looking at his hands. He honestly didn't feel any different than he did this morning, just his eyes looked different. "I really don't know how to do this." He admitted, holding his hands outs towards the last target. He swatted his hands out. Nothing happened. He gave a couple punches. Nothing happened. "This is stupid." He muttered, shoving his hands into his pocket, giving up.

Lukas sat up, rubbing his nose. His nose was bleeding, but at least it wasn't broken. He pinched the bridge, looking around. His green eyes landed on Brand, noticing that he was just standing there. His eyes changed to Z. He watched the shadows to their work, his jaw unhinging in shock.
Brand took a step back. Out of the three of them, he was the only one who hadn't displayed his powers yet.

Well, besides the color of his eyes turning purple.

"I got this." Lukas said, running forward. His feet began to move faster, until they were blurring together. He sprinted through one of the forums, but kept going. He gasped, turning himself around, trying to slow his feet. He concentrated too much on slowing his feet and ended up tripping, which caused him to fall and slam his face against the floor.

Samuel's mouth opened and started to move forward. Ashe held a wing out, blocking him. "Let 'em be. They can't be babied by you every time they get a boo-boo." She muttered, folding her wing back in.
"I have psychic energy, he has speed, she has the power of voodoo." Brand explained quickly, looking at Z and Lukas. Lukas's eyes were wide as he continued to soak all the information in. He noticed that Z was watching everyone, not seeming like she was really paying attention either. "...they might need a couple minutes to pull themselves together before we start."

Dessie reached into her pocket, pulling out a small crystal pin. She threw it up into the air and was surrounded by a cloud of sparkles. When it cleared, she was a completely different person. She wore a complex orange, fushia, gold, and baby blue outfit. There were iridescent jewels and sparkles scattered all around the outfit. "Come on, let's watch and see what happens! she said, lifting her feet up into the air and levitating, sparkling raining down from her floating body.

Samuel giggled and flew up next to her, sitting in the air, mimicking Dessie. Ashe rolled her eyes, scowling. "This isn't over, kid." She muttered to the alien before moving over to the wall. She shifted her wings so her back was to the wall, her arms crossed. She started the group down, looking pissed.
The dark-skinned woman giggled at Ace's comment and then looked to the three. "You can call me Dessie!" She chirped, putting her hands behind her back and smiling at them. "But you might know me as Iridescent Girl, but even then I still go by Dessie." She explained, winking. "I'm sure you all know who she is over there." Dessie commented, gesturing to the unmasked Bluebird. Ashe was shouting a river of profanity, trying to get Samuel to back off. Samuel was explaing that swearing was very rude and she may be offending the new recruits. Ashe continued with what she was doing. Dessie rolled her eyes, scoffing with a smile and looked back to the others. "Well, I guess I'll leave you to Rick and Ace here, good luck!"
"Er, I wouldn't use that term..." Lukas replied, shrugging. Brand read Z's hands and looked to Ace. "She's wondering what your powers are." He bluntly stated. There was some laughing in the hallway as Samuel came in, holding the hands of two women.

"See, we have some newcomers!" the child exclaimed, smiling brightly. The taller woman who walked at Samuel's pace nodded, smiling back at him. "Yes, honey, I see that." She replied. She had skin that was even darker than Rick's. She had dozens, maybe even hundreds, of tiny, dark braids coming out of her head that were put up neatly into a high, side pony tail. Toward's the base of her head, the braids were a pinkish-purple color. Brand knew her face was covered in lots of makeup, but she made it look so natural. Her big, glossy lips matched the color of her colored braids. Her eyelashes were thick and long. Her eyes were big and dark. The woman was tall with a slightly muscular build. She was very, very beautiful.

The other woman, however, was not even close to beautiful. She walked with them, reluctantly, but allowed Samuel drag her along. Brand didn't need any signs to tell him who this was, it couldn't be anyone else other than the Bluebird. She wasn't in uniform, but her huge blue wings and monsterish eyes gave her away. Her long, waist-length hair was messily put together into a loose braid. The whites of her small eyes were black, but the irises were an unnaturally ultramarine color. She had a round nose sitting above an upper black lip. her bottom lip was the color of her skin, not a normal pinkish tone that it should have been. Her face was twisted up into a disapproving look, as if she smelled something disgusted. "Why the f*** do I need to be here? Look at those barbecue-sticks, they ain't gonna last long!" She growled.

Samuel looked back at her. "Ashe, please be nice! They may prove to be our comrades!" He asked, letting go of his friend's hands. Ashe looked down at the boy. She stood only about a foot taller than he did, so she didn't have much looking down to do. The model like girl walked over to Ace, looking at the new trio with glee. "How you making nice with the recruits?" She asked, smiling, giving the newbies an excited little wave. "I hope you're not scaring them too bad, yet!"
Ryan, at first, didn't say anything as he entered into the dark room. He walked over to his brooding mother, vibrating his legs as he moved. This way, he would use up the electricity in the air and not get shocked. "...Mom?" He asked quietly, kneeling next to his mother. He started to vibrate his whole body to protect himself from his mother's powers. He had never seen her like this, never seen her this broken before. "...please, mom. Don't do this to yourself."
Rick finnally got out of the SUV after Ace kinda sorta introduced himself. He shook his head at the short boy, looking at him over the hood of the car. "Now, now, Dr. Ace, is that anyway to introduce yourself to the fresh meat?" He teased, taunting him. Brand was wondering how serious this guy was going to be with training. How much time was going to be dealing with childish teasing rather than learning how to use his powers?
