The Witch Hunt

For everyone that still sometimes reads this, I started a new RP here. The big picture would be that both of my RPs take place in the same universe, and in the same planet. Obviously, because I'm quite pissed that people lost interest, I'm not even going to bother with gradual continuation, or following the main story-line. So, yeah..

The Ones that were Left Behind

Earth was attacked by aliens. It was a quite simple set-up. Earth seeded with an unique metal that should not naturally occur on planets like Earth. Adamantium - the wonder metal, which revolutionized everything, and propelled humans several centuries forward in an instant. To make the fools build everything themselves, and then swoop in and claim it - that was the plan. But it was foiled. The people in the shadows, the ones called by many names - Illuminati, Freemasons and the like. They didn't call themselves like that, but they did stand against the invaders. Their champions, far surpassing the human limits, finally defeated the invaders and went forth through the gate they arrived, determined to avenge the fallen. Our heroes have left us... Out of 7 billion souls that lived, now no more than 100 million remain. The world is in ruins. Governments, nationality, culture - all of it has long lost meaning. We are the ones left behind on our broken home. But we are rebuilding, and from the ashes of the old a new Earth shall arise, one that will stand the test of time. ------- That's the concept. This RP would be about the broken remnants of humanity trying to rebuild. Naturally, everyone wants to be in charge, so it's not going to be pretty. The heroes left Earth to pursue the aliens that attacked them, seeking retribution. Their "organizations" are either outright wiped out or shattered, without any power of leverage they once held. The heroes showed themselves capable of actual magic, and with time, the survivors noticed that slowly but surely, they are able to use it as well, to a limited extent. Remnants of the invasion still roam the world, as dangerous as ever. Other humans preying on the weak are a great threat as well. Alien tech, or at least shattered fragments of it litter the world, waiting for the smart people to uncover their secrets. This RP would depend heavily on the players, as there is no rigid story set in stone (unlike my other dying RP anyway).

Fun fact, the main antagonist was/is hardest to come up with. He went through many, many iterations and was scrapped due to "that's actually retarded" reasons. Though the current iteration is likely to be the one that stays! And the things I can do with his origins. @Rultaos: Well, in EU school/university/college usually starts at September 1st.

Well, now I completely finished my post, finally! And as always, a few posts in the people so to scatter away and disappear, getting busier and busier. Either my timing is wrong with starting a new RP (maybe do it during summer?), or there is something about the narrative that bores people away. There is always room for improvement I guess.
