Hello all! I decided I ought to just consolidate and put all of my interests into a single thread rather than spreading them far and wide across the forums. A few details about me first. :)
- I am (well) over 18 and I insist that my play partners are as well. - I have over 15 years of role playing experience. - I am a female player and my primary characters are female (see next) and I am looking to play with male characters. Player gender is less important. - I am most likely willing to do doubles. - I hope for RP partners that can post several times a day. - I prefer posts with a few paragraphs or more, no one liners please. - For 1x1 RPs I favor PMs simply because they are easier to keep track of, and... - More than likely there will be mature content. - If the story isn't working for you once we get started, let me know! We can discuss what needs fixing or part ways. I will extend you the same courtesy. :) - Naturally, a few stars next to the name means it is something I'm hoping for a little extra right now.
A list of some of the fandoms I might be up for. I'm not always feeling each and every one but feel free to PM me if you see something that strikes your fancy.
Fairly self-explanatory here. I'm looking for something in the Aliens vs Predator universe. I'm fine going purely "Aliens" or "Predator" but I'd prefer both since the overlap is already there. I'm fairly well versed in the extended universe.
This could go a number of different ways, from two Colonial Marines to a marine and a Predator, etc.
I've read the first book and seen the two movies so far, eventually I'll get through all of the books. For this I'd be interested OC* x Eric.
I've played all three games through to completion at least twice. I would be up for a story anywhere within those three games. I do enjoy the Alistar/Warden* and Cullen/Inquisitor* pairings, but might be willing to discuss other options.
I've read the books as well as seen all of the movies. I some potential ideas for either part of the timeline. Stories in this would probably be slightly "AU" or a re-telling rather than just re-playing the books/movies. OC* x Bard is love.
Okay, yeah, I'm going to be that person. Saw Mad Max: Fury Road, and loved it. Doesn't necessarily have to be specifically in this 'verse but something post apocalypse-y feeling like it.
This is a little hard to describe I guess, lol. Skyrim is the only Elder Scrolls game I've played, so I'm not hugely versed in the rest of the universe. A story in this setting wouldn't necessarily have to follow along the main plots of the story, or could take place before or after. Mostly it's just the setting, I suppose.
I haven't watched the others, aside from the original movie, but I've seen this one all the way through. I'd really love to play against Ronon Dex in this fandom for some original kind of adventures.
So I'm starting to get pretty excited for Genisys, even with its awful intentional misspelling. Therefore I've got the hankering for a story or two within the ever varying timeline of the Terminator series. I think anything from 'modern' with the units being sent back in time to today, in the future with the Machine Wars, or even possibly AU could be pretty fun.
Not gonna lie, Kyle Reese was my first character crush as a girl, so if you'd indulge me on that I'd give you like a billion brownie points.
I'm looking for a sort of Roman gladiator type storyline (not the movie) to play. It doesn't have to be entirely historically accurate, as I can't claim elite knowledge there myself.
My character would be a trophy wife, wed very recently in a highly political marriage that seems doomed for unhappiness. As a sort of bizarre wedding present her husband wants her to pick out a gladiator so that she has some entertainment (yes, he means that kind of entertainment too) while he attends his political business.
The gladiator doesn't have to be a slave by any means, she could just be sponsoring him instead of buying him if you prefer. She finds the whole thing rather distasteful anyway and does it just to play along at the start. As for whatever relationship the two develop, I leave that to build on it's own.
This one would be semi-fantasy in that it would involve made up cultures/places. I'm not sure how I'd feel about fantasy creatures in it, however. There are a few different ways it could go:
- Members from two different tribes meeting/being introduced at a gathering - A member of a tribe and his "civilized" conquest - Possibly something I haven't thought of and will add later.
So this would be a fun romp through some Greek mythology, inspired perhaps a bit by Hercules The Legendary Journeys, but not quite in that fandom. Sort of but not quite a "Young Hercules." The description doesn't do the idea in my head justice, lol.
I was thinking of a mostly realistic medieval setting, the fantasy element coming in with made up cultures and peoples rather than magic, dragons, or fantasy races. The plot would center around an arranged marriage between one of the princesses (my character) of one nation and a prince (your character) of a neighboring nation to strengthen the alliance in the face of a war that threatens to spread into both of their lands.
The princess, who is very much not the typical image of that word, hates the notion at first but understands her duty. However, will she find out that the arrangement is not so bad after all? FILLED
Simply put, this would revolve around two "agents" of whatever firm, CIA or what not, working on a case together. One would sort of be the handler--still embedded--and the other the primary operative, both in very deep cover, having been working on the case for a long time. I had been thinking the male would be the "handler" role and the female would be the more active agent out of necessity for the "case" I had thought of for them. May be open to change.
As an interesting dynamic, I almost feel like the don't like one another, whether out out rivalry or just being stuck together too long. The "case" they are on is up for discussion but I was thinking human trafficking. Would definitely be a little dark and explore the characters' minds, etc
This would not be based on the TV show, first and foremost. I do love it, but this is something a bit different! :)
This story would revolve around members of an ancient order tasked with hunting down those Supernatural creatures which threaten mankind. One member, the male character, would be a long time within the group while the female character would be getting newly inducted after an encounter with one such creature, and the hunter leaves her the choice: Join, or die.
(Open to switching the roles of the characters.)
The name says it all. Pretty wide open for cannon or non-cannon here. I'm fairly familiar with Marvel Cineverse, less so for DC. We can do something within that--I do love me some Hawkeye--or go original.
So yeah, if you know what E-Fedding even is, that's a really good start. I'm hoping I can find someone to kind of work with in my current fed. I'm not looking to form a tag team or anything. Need someone with a fairly advanced writing level. PM me and we can work out more details.
If one of these catches your fancy, PM me please and we can discuss more details! If there is one that really catches your eye but is listed as FILLED, PM me anyway and we'll see about putting together an alternate idea along those same lines. If you have an idea similar to one of these and think I might like it, PM me for that too! What's the worst that could happen? :)
PM me please, I won't see responses here on the thread until a long time later, more than likely.
