David, seeing Ryuu’s devil grin, back up for a second, afraid. Oh crap! Don’t take it serious? Please don’t let him take that serious. I’m begging you, oh seven gods, please let him understand that it was a joke. But his grin and words begged to differ. “Ryuu? Ryuu that was a joke. Please Ryuu, don’t kidnap her.” He said, with a little fear in his voice. “Just…just walk up to her? Maybe? I mean, the start of talking in private mostly starts from talking in a group?” That was a lie. At least in the life of David so far. Well, you sort of have to admire the guy for his confidence. he thought in the back of his head.

At his what privacy? David thought, looking a little weird at the Otaku. Hell, this is the guy who talked about blowing up his rooms…several times over. I could make a slightly less appropriate joke with him….right? he counselled with himself. “So you really thought you’d get a private moment with a girl like Anedine…when she carries burgers around?” he said with a sarcastic tone. “Anyway, if you want to get some private time with her, why don’t you just fend of the other guys with your lightsaber and kidnap her?” he said. He hoped it was with his sarcastic voice. But it was a little to strong. There have been times that he has been super sarcastic that people thought he was for real. Which was weird. But he really hoped that Ryuu took it as a joke because he knew he’d do it. Somehow he just knew that Ryuu could try it.

David was all focused on the food that Anedine was carrying. Hoping he might get some. He heard that it were burgers, making him crave it even more. But more and more people started gathering in the hallway. Anedine jumped away to talk to a new guy. Somehow David started thinking about Cortez. Where would she be? I hope she got enough sleep after that night…why am I caring for her right now? he mentally asked himself. He looked around, checking if she hasn’t emerged already. But she was nowhere to be seen. But he did see Ryuu who looked…off. Right before he wanted to ask if something was wrong, the Otaku walked away. For a second David was conflicted. Cortez might emerge any moment, Anedine had burgers too. But Ryuu was becoming his friend. A friend is more important that food or a girl! he disciplined himself. The food part was a fact for him. The girl part he didn’t really know. Maybe it was just because they where becoming friends too.

Never the less he walked after Ryuu into the garden. “Hey! Ryuu! You okay?” he shouted after him.

David exited his dorm. Maybe they are somewhere in the hallway? he thought to himself. But like Ryuu, a scent caught him. What is that divine smell!? his mind shouted out. He looked around and noticed Ryuu and Anedine. “Oh good! That saves time!” he said to himself. He walked up to the others, not really hearing what they were saying. “Oh hi all!” he said with his usual cheery smile. “Anedine…did…you make something?” he asked. But his mind was screaming out Food! Food! Food!

Just to jump on the age train: I'm 18, 19 in 6 days (whoo hoo!!!) and in my country that means i'm legal to drink and (not at the same time!) drive (if you have drivers license...which i haven't...)
