Luci would just be in his office drinking cocoa as Leviathan and Charon fight each other like the finale of Avatar the Last Airbender. I'm down for it :D

For mental uniqueness I would say highly intuitive because these are students chosen based off of their academic performance.

For characters I am looking for someone who has been raised in what seems to be a perfect world, like the society in the Giver. They have never seen or experienced most of the situations of this plot, opening them to sensitivities they never knew they had. Because the entire story is based off of body modification it is safe to assume that GUSP has been able to control the looks of their citizens in terms of body height and build. The mind is where the uniqueness lies, not the outward appearance.
I really hope that made sense.
