I take it then that all the spots filled up?
Okay yeah I am definitely interested if you still have space.
Deven Zoria and Jenna Fellrein: Lyn's Hunt- stumbled across friends

Deven

Quickly the discomfort in his arm turned to pain as the teeth bit deeper and deeper denting his armor. He had to end it fast or else it would very likely break through it. But just as he stabbed the blade forward the beast knocked his blade aside with it's paw. He was able to cut into the beasts shoulder in the process but it wasn't anything too helpful. As the beast climbed in height Deven felt a bit of a sinking feeling as his arm slowly climbed higher than his own head.

Then the beast released his arm as it howled in pain and swiped him with it's paw with enough force to send him stumbling backwards. Deven gasped as he struggled to maintain his footing, it took several steps backwards but he was able to keep himself standing. Thanks to his armor the swipe hadn't hurt him other then send him stumbling back but it's claws left a nice scratch mark in his armor.

Deven scanned the beast over as he tried to figure out what happened. The beast's legged seemed to crumple under the weight and he spied the girl finish rolling out of the beast's reach. He watched the beast turn it's gaze back on her as she rolled away. He had to move fast he needed it's attention to stay on him. With his right arm now freed he was able to grip his sword in both hands again, the dent's still dug into his arm but he was still able to function properly despite them. Covering the distance between him and the Alpha in quick strides he drew his blade back and prepared to deliver a slash down the beasts side.

"Eyes on me you big bastard!" He growled as he prepared to swing

Jenna

As Jenna reached for another arrow and drew it from her quiver she watched as the beast threw the girl aside straight into the elf before collapsing to the ground. Quickly she nocked the arrow but before she drew back she was distracted as something suddenly jumped into her view. Out of nowhere the other beast appeared, much larger and much more intimidating than the other, it was three feet tall at least on all fours and easily much longer.

Coming back from the surprise of the beast suddenly becoming visible Jenna turned her gaze back to the other and watched as the girl who had just been thrown managed to regain her footing and prepared to deliver the killing blow to the what appeared to be dying animal. Content with the knowledge that it would soon be dead Jenna turned her gaze back to the large one just in time to see it rising to it's full height.

"Shit Deven." She mumbled as she spied his arm locked in it's jaws.

She drew back her bow and lined up a shot, Deven stood between her and the beast but luckily for her it was quickly becoming taller than him, she just had to aim above him and to the side of his arm. But just as she was about to release the arrow she caught the girl moving and watched as the beast howled in pain and released Deven's arm before collapsing to the ground now safety hidden by Deven's body.

"Damn" She cursed as she quickly moved to change her angle on the beast.

After shifting to the side a few feet she now had a clear line of sight on the beast's front and right side. She once more took aim as Deven began to clear the distance, taking in a calm and steady breath she lined up her shot and let loose aiming for the beasts neck.
Just to make sure, who needs a post from me?

I believe the Alpha Cosh needs a response.
I would like a lull in events, at least to get Deven and Jenna situated before the next life threatening event.

(Third try on this post) (-_-)
Everyone cross your fingers. As well as hope and prey you don't have a feral vampire to kill cause I'm trying something rather risky. Hopefully Leo had the bloody Cosh's full attention.

Here's to hoping we don't get a feral vampire to deal with shortly. I'm fairly sure no, but let us hope the Fallenreaper smiles kindly upon us.

They are a lot like wolves, so training one at birth is likely best and easiest. Through their dens are difficult to find but if someone wants, I could arrange that as a side mission during a lull or a open slot we have which could have the players discover a few a pups. Not many, so whoever went on the mission would have to decide who got a pup and who got a prize instead.

Also, those who were involved with Lyn's Hunt should consider which ring they would like and this includes you @Leon5431@May@EthTenshi & late commer who weren't part of the Catacombs.

Oh, yay rewards, how exciting seems these two stumbled in at just the right time.
Yeah it would be easier, once they're not a jumble or limbs and such lol I have no problem doing it, just didn't want to jump the gun as it were.

Yeah, I'll leave that one up to you guys. It'll be best if I get Jenna to start pumping this Alpha full of arrows.
Random thought, how badass would it be to have a trained Cosh? Not saying we should try and train this one, it seems like it may be a bit too far gone with all of it's wounds let alone would it ever be willing to listen to one of us, but still the thought remains.

Well I could have Jenna finish it off, given you guys are a little tangled up at the moment it might be a little difficult for you guys to give it a finishing blow, despite your proximity. Never mind about this

@Demonic Angel

And as for your response, well it depends, if you intend to have your character continue to fight the Alpha then a response will be necessary for us to continue. But part of me thinks you might not even need to keep fighting, I mean granted the help would be appreciated but it might be best if your character sat it out to avoid further harm and so she doesn't get pushed into a blood frenzy.
Deven Zoria

With adrenaline pumping through his veins Deven rushed toward the beast and swung his blade hoping to make contact with what he was thinking was the beast. Then he felt it, the moment his blade made contact, cutting into flesh that rapidly appeared before him. The beast howled as it's hulking form came into view. It was much like the other one, black and white fur. But unlike the other this one was much larger even on all fours the beast came up to about half his size. It's two muscular long arms flexed as it dug it's nails into the soft dirt below and reacted to his strike.

Blood rushed out of the wound on the beast's back coating the edge of Deven's blade in crimson. Quickly the beast turned about and faced him down snarling menacingly as it addressed it's new foe. It was an intimidating sight, this beast glaring him down flashing it's teeth that were set in a jaw strong enough to crush bones. Deven's grip tightened on his blade and silently he thanked his stars for having decided to travel with his armor on.

Keeping his blade at the ready he stared the beast down as he waited for it's move. The way the beast moved, one thing was made very clear it was fast despite it's larger size he'd have to keep his reactions quick and precise. He had his armor and he could abuse that fact and he had no doubt he would abuse that fact several times before this beast either dies or flees wether he wanted to or not.

Once the beast finished eyeing finished eyeing him it made it's move. Not surprisingly it went for an attack on his legs, if it could get him on his back it would have a distinct advantage over him, but that went without saying. Intent on keeping that from happening Deven swung his blade for the beasts head but he misjudged this creature and it's intelligence. As his swing came in the beast pulled it's head back dodging the blow and rushed forward this time aiming for the wrist of his right arm. Deven silently cursed to himself as his blade cut through empty air and he tried to pull his hand back but it was already too late, the beast's mouth closed around his wrist and bit down. Thankfully though the beast ended up biting into his forearm instead of his wrist and was met with the steel of his armor. Deven could feel the immense pressure the bit put on his forearm through the armor and it caused an uneasy feeling to spread through his stomach, he hadn't been wrong about these jaws and he needed to do something to free himself before his armor began gave out.

Releasing his grip on his blade with his right hand he transferred the full weight of his blade to his left hand. Pulling the hilt back he pointed the tip of his blade for the beast's neck or collar bone and thrust forward. Given the beast's grip on his arm it gave him a relative easy target for the stab. If the stab didn't skewer the beast then it should at least force it to free his forearm.
